तूं जलि थलि महीअलि भरिपुरि लीणा तूं आपे सरब समाणा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

मनु ताराजी चितु तुला तेरी सेव सराफु कमावा ॥
Mind is the scale, consciousness the weights, and the performance of Your service is the appraiser.
ਘਟ ਹੀ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਸੋ ਸਹੁ ਤੋਲੀ ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਚਿਤੁ ਰਹਾਵਾ ॥੨॥
Ghatt Hee Bheethar So Sahu Tholee Ein Bidhh Chith Rehaavaa ||2||
घट ही भीतरि सो सहु तोली इन बिधि चितु रहावा ॥२॥
Deep within my heart, I weigh my Husband Lord; in this way I focus my consciousness. ||2||
ਆਪੇ ਕੰਡਾ ਤੋਲੁ ਤਰਾਜੀ ਆਪੇ ਤੋਲਣਹਾਰਾ ॥
Aapae Kanddaa Thol Tharaajee Aapae Tholanehaaraa ||
आपे कंडा तोलु तराजी आपे तोलणहारा ॥
You Yourself are the balance, the weights and the scale; You Yourself are the weigher.
ਆਪੇ ਦੇਖੈ ਆਪੇ ਬੂਝੈ ਆਪੇ ਹੈ ਵਣਜਾਰਾ ॥੩॥
Aapae Dhaekhai Aapae Boojhai Aapae Hai Vanajaaraa ||3||
आपे देखै आपे बूझै आपे है वणजारा ॥३॥
You Yourself see, and You Yourself understand; You Yourself are the trader. ||3||
ਅੰਧੁਲਾ ਨੀਚ ਜਾਤਿ ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਖਿਨੁ ਆਵੈ ਤਿਲੁ ਜਾਵੈ ॥
Andhhulaa Neech Jaath Paradhaesee Khin Aavai Thil Jaavai ||
अंधुला नीच जाति परदेसी खिनु आवै तिलु जावै ॥
The blind, low class wandering soul, comes for a moment, and departs in an instant.
ਤਾ ਕੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਰਹਦਾ ਕਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਮੂੜਾ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੪॥੨॥੯॥

मनि राम नामु आराधिआ गुर सबदि गुरू गुर के ॥
My mind worships and adores the Lord's Name,through the Guru,and the Word of the Guru's Shabad.
ਸਭਿ ਇਛਾ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਪੂਰੀਆ ਸਭੁ ਚੂਕਾ ਡਰੁ ਜਮ ਕੇ ॥੧॥
Sabh Eishhaa Man Than Pooreeaa Sabh Chookaa Ddar Jam Kae ||1||
सभि इछा मनि तनि पूरीआ सभु चूका डरु जम के ॥१॥
All the desires of my mind and body have been fulfilled; all fear of death has been dispelled. ||1||
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ॥

मेरे मन गुण गावहु राम नाम हरि के ॥
O my mind, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord's Name.
ਗੁਰਿ ਤੁਠੈ ਮਨੁ ਪਰਬੋਧਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਪੀਆ ਰਸੁ ਗਟਕੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Gur Thuthai Man Parabodhhiaa Har Peeaa Ras Gattakae ||1|| Rehaao ||
गुरि तुठै मनु परबोधिआ हरि पीआ रसु गटके ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
And when the Guru is pleased and satisfied, the mind is instructed; it then joyfully drinks in the subtle essence of the Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਊਤਮ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੇਰੀ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇ ॥

सतसंगति ऊतम सतिगुर केरी गुन गावै हरि प्रभ के ॥
The Sat Sangat, the True Congregation of the True Guru, is sublime and exalted. They sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord God.
ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰਿ ਮੇਲਹੁ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਹਮ ਧੋਵਹ ਪਗ ਜਨ ਕੇ ॥੨॥
Har Kirapaa Dhhaar Maelahu Sathasangath Ham Dhhoveh Pag Jan Kae ||2||
हरि किरपा धारि मेलहु सतसंगति हम धोवह पग जन के ॥२॥
Bless me with Your Mercy, Lord, and unite me with the Sat Sangat; I wash the feet of Your humble servants. ||2||
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਭੁ ਹੈ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਾ ਰਸੁ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਰਸੁ ਰਸਕੇ ॥
Raam Naam Sabh Hai Raam Naamaa Ras Guramath Ras Rasakae ||
राम नामु सभु है राम नामा रसु गुरमति रसु रसके ॥
The Lord's Name is all. The Lord's Name is the essence of the Guru's Teachings, the juice, the sweetness of it.
ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਜਲੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਭ ਲਾਥੀ ਤਿਸ ਤਿਸ ਕੇ ॥੩॥
Har Anmrith Har Jal Paaeiaa Sabh Laathhee This This Kae ||3||
हरि अम्रितु हरि जलु पाइआ सभ लाथी तिस तिस के ॥३॥
I have found the Ambrosial Nectar, the Divine Water of the Lord's Name, and all my thirst for it is quenched. ||3||
ਹਮਰੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਪਾਤਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਹਮ ਵੇਚਿਓ ਸਿਰੁ ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ॥
Hamaree Jaath Paath Gur Sathigur Ham Vaechiou Sir Gur Kae ||
हमरी जाति पाति गुरु सतिगुरु हम वेचिओ सिरु गुर के ॥
The Guru, the True Guru, is my social status and honor; I have sold my head to the Guru.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਰਿਓ ਗੁਰ ਚੇਲਾ ਗੁਰ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਲਾਜ ਜਨ ਕੇ ॥੪॥੧॥

जन नानक नामु परिओ गुर चेला गुर राखहु लाज जन के ॥४॥१॥

Har Har Naam Bhajiou Purakhotham Sabh Binasae Dhaaladh Dhalaghaa ||
हरि हरि नामु भजिओ पुरखोतमु सभि बिनसे दालद दलघा ॥
I chant and vibrate the Name of the Lord God, the Supreme Being, Har, Har; my poverty and problems have all been eradicated.
ਭਉ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣਾ ਮੇਟਿਓ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਹਰਿ ਅਸਥਿਰੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਸੁਖਿ ਸਮਘਾ ॥੧॥

भउ जनम मरणा मेटिओ गुर सबदी हरि असथिरु सेवि सुखि समघा ॥१॥
The fear of birth and death has been erased,through the Word of the Guru's Shabad; serving the Unmoving,Unchanging Lord, I am absorbed in peace. ||1||

मेरे मन भजु राम नाम अति पिरघा ॥
O my mind, vibrate the Name of the most Beloved, Darling Lord.
ਮੈ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਅਰਪਿ ਧਰਿਓ ਗੁਰ ਆਗੈ ਸਿਰੁ ਵੇਚਿ ਲੀਓ ਮੁਲਿ ਮਹਘਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Mai Man Than Arap Dhhariou Gur Aagai Sir Vaech Leeou Mul Mehaghaa ||1|| Rehaao ||
मै मनु तनु अरपि धरिओ गुर आगै सिरु वेचि लीओ मुलि महघा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
I have dedicated my mind and body, and placed them in offering before the Guru; I have sold my head to the Guru, for a very dear price. ||1||Pause||
ਨਰਪਤਿ ਰਾਜੇ ਰੰਗ ਰਸ ਮਾਣਹਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਪਕੜਿ ਖੜੇ ਸਭਿ ਕਲਘਾ ॥
Narapath Raajae Rang Ras Maanehi Bin Naavai Pakarr Kharrae Sabh Kalaghaa ||
नरपति राजे रंग रस माणहि बिनु नावै पकड़ि खड़े सभि कलघा ॥
The kings and the rulers of men enjoy pleasures and delights, but without the Name of the Lord, death seizes and dispatches them all.
ਧਰਮ ਰਾਇ ਸਿਰਿ ਡੰਡੁ ਲਗਾਨਾ ਫਿਰਿ ਪਛੁਤਾਨੇ ਹਥ ਫਲਘਾ ॥੨॥
Dhharam Raae Sir Ddandd Lagaanaa Fir Pashhuthaanae Hathh Falaghaa ||2||
धरम राइ सिरि डंडु लगाना फिरि पछुताने हथ फलघा ॥२॥
The Righteous Judge of Dharma strikes them over the heads with his staff, and when the fruits of their actions come into their hands, then they regret and repent. ||2||
ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖੁ ਰਾਖੁ ਜਨ ਕਿਰਮ ਤੁਮਾਰੇ ਸਰਣਾਗਤਿ ਪੁਰਖ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਲਘਾ ॥

हरि राखु राखु जन किरम तुमारे सरणागति पुरख प्रतिपलघा ॥
Save me, save me, Lord; I am Your humble servant, a mere worm. I seek the Protection of Your Sanctuary, O Primal Lord, Cherisher and Nourisher.
ਦਰਸਨੁ ਸੰਤ ਦੇਹੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਵੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਲੋਚ ਪੂਰਿ ਜਨੁ ਤੁਮਘਾ ॥੩॥
Dharasan Santh Dhaehu Sukh Paavai Prabh Loch Poor Jan Thumaghaa ||3||
दरसनु संत देहु सुखु पावै प्रभ लोच पूरि जनु तुमघा ॥३॥
Please bless me with the Blessed Vision of the Saint's Darshan,that I may find peace. O God,please fulfill the desires of Your humble servant. ||3||
ਤੁਮ ਸਮਰਥ ਪੁਰਖ ਵਡੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਕੀਜੈ ਦਾਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਮਘਾ ॥
Thum Samarathh Purakh Vaddae Prabh Suaamee Mo Ko Keejai Dhaan Har Nimaghaa ||
तुम समरथ पुरख वडे प्रभ सुआमी मो कउ कीजै दानु हरि निमघा ॥
You are the All-powerful, Great, Primal God, my Lord and Master. O Lord, please bless me with the gift of humility.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਵੈ ਹਮ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਸਦ ਘੁਮਘਾ ॥੪॥੨॥
Jan Naanak Naam Milai Sukh Paavai Ham Naam Vittahu Sadh Ghumaghaa ||4||2||
जन नानक नामु मिलै सुखु पावै हम नाम विटहु सद घुमघा ॥४॥२॥
Servant Nanak has found the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and is at peace; I am forever a sacrifice to the Naam. ||4||2||

Har Naamaa Har Rann(g) Hai Har Rann(g) Majeethai Rann(g) ||
हरि नामा हरि रंङु है हरि रंङु मजीठै रंङु ॥
The Lord's Name is the Love of the Lord. The Lord's Love is the permanent color.
ਗੁਰਿ ਤੁਠੈ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਚਾੜਿਆ ਫਿਰਿ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਨ ਹੋਵੀ ਭੰਙੁ ॥੧॥
Gur Thuthai Har Rang Chaarriaa Fir Bahurr N Hovee Bhann(g) ||1||
गुरि तुठै हरि रंगु चाड़िआ फिरि बहुड़ि न होवी भंङु ॥१॥
When the Guru is totally satisfied and pleased, He colors us with the Lord's Love; this color shall never fade away. ||1||
