ਗੁਪਤ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਅਰਾਧਹਿ ਪਉਣ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਰਾਤਿ ॥
Gupath Pragatt Jaa Ko Araadhhehi Poun Paanee Dhinas Raath ||
गुपत प्रगट जा कउ अराधहि पउण पाणी दिनसु राति ॥
The invisible and visible beings worship Him in adoration, along with wind and water, day and night.
ਨਖਿਅਤ੍ਰ ਸਸੀਅਰ ਸੂਰ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਬਸੁਧ ਗਗਨਾ ਗਾਵਏ ॥
Nakhiathr Saseear Soor Dhhiaavehi Basudhh Gaganaa Gaaveae ||
नखिअत्र ससीअर सूर धिआवहि बसुध गगना गावए ॥
The stars, the moon and the sun meditate on Him; the earth and the sky sing to Him.
ਸਗਲ ਖਾਣੀ ਸਗਲ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਵਏ ॥
Sagal Khaanee Sagal Baanee Sadhaa Sadhaa Dhhiaaveae ||
सगल खाणी सगल बाणी सदा सदा धिआवए ॥
All the sources of creation, and all languages meditate on Him, forever and ever.
ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਚਤੁਰ ਬੇਦਹ ਖਟੁ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਜਪਾਤਿ ॥
Simrith Puraan Chathur Baedheh Khatt Saasathr Jaa Ko Japaath ||
सिम्रिति पुराण चतुर बेदह खटु सासत्र जा कउ जपाति ॥
The Simritees, the Puraanas, the four Vedas and the six Shaastras meditate on Him.
ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਭਗਤਿ ਵਛਲ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਿਲੀਐ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਾਤਿ ॥੩॥
Pathith Paavan Bhagath Vashhal Naanak Mileeai Sang Saath ||3||
पतित पावन भगति वछल नानक मिलीऐ संगि साति ॥३॥
He is the Purifier of sinners, the Lover of His Saints; O Nanak, He is met in the Society of the Saints. ||3||
ਜੇਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜਨਾਈ ਰਸਨਾ ਤੇਤ ਭਨੀ ॥
Jaethee Prabhoo Janaaee Rasanaa Thaeth Bhanee ||
जेती प्रभू जनाई रसना तेत भनी ॥
As much as God has revealed to us, that much we can speak with our tongues.
ਅਨਜਾਨਤ ਜੋ ਸੇਵੈ ਤੇਤੀ ਨਹ ਜਾਇ ਗਨੀ ॥
Anajaanath Jo Saevai Thaethee Neh Jaae Ganee ||
अनजानत जो सेवै तेती नह जाइ गनी ॥
Those unknown ones who serve You cannot be counted.
ਅਵਿਗਤ ਅਗਨਤ ਅਥਾਹ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਗਲ ਮੰਝੇ ਬਾਹਰਾ ॥
Avigath Aganath Athhaah Thaakur Sagal Manjhae Baaharaa ||
अविगत अगनत अथाह ठाकुर सगल मंझे बाहरा ॥
Imperishable, incalculable, and unfathomable is the Lord and Master; He is everywhere, inside and out.
ਸਰਬ ਜਾਚਿਕ ਏਕੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਨਹ ਦੂਰਿ ਸੰਗੀ ਜਾਹਰਾ ॥
Sarab Jaachik Eaek Dhaathaa Neh Dhoor Sangee Jaaharaa ||
सरब जाचिक एकु दाता नह दूरि संगी जाहरा ॥
We are all beggars, He is the One and only Giver; He is not far away, but is with us, ever-present.
ਵਸਿ ਭਗਤ ਥੀਆ ਮਿਲੇ ਜੀਆ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਿਤ ਗਨੀ ॥
Vas Bhagath Thheeaa Milae Jeeaa Thaa Kee Oupamaa Kith Ganee ||
वसि भगत थीआ मिले जीआ ता की उपमा कित गनी ॥
He is in the power of His devotees; those whose souls are united with Him - how can their praises be sung?

उदमु करहु वडभागीहो सिमरहु हरि हरि राइ ॥
Make the effort, O very fortunate ones, and meditate on the Lord, the Lord King.
ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਸੁ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸਭ ਸੁਖ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਦੂਖੁ ਦਰਦੁ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਜਾਇ ॥੧॥
Naanak Jis Simarath Sabh Sukh Hovehi Dhookh Dharadh Bhram Jaae ||1||
नानक जिसु सिमरत सभ सुख होवहि दूखु दरदु भ्रमु जाइ ॥१॥
O Nanak, remembering Him in meditation, you shall obtain total peace, and your pains and troubles and doubts shall depart. ||1||

ਭੇਟਤ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗ ਜਮ ਪੁਰਿ ਨਹ ਜਾਈਐ ॥
Bhaettath Saadhhoo Sang Jam Pur Neh Jaaeeai ||
भेटत साधू संग जम पुरि नह जाईऐ ॥
Meeting with the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, you shall not have to go to the City of Death.
ਦੂਖ ਦਰਦ ਨ ਭਉ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸਦ ਸੁਖੀ ॥
Dhookh Dharadh N Bho Biaapai Naam Simarath Sadh Sukhee ||
दूख दरद न भउ बिआपै नामु सिमरत सद सुखी ॥
Pain, trouble and fear will not afflict you; meditating on the Naam, a lasting peace is found.
ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਅਰਾਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮਨਿ ਮੁਖੀ ॥

सासि सासि अराधि हरि हरि धिआइ सो प्रभु मनि मुखी ॥
With each and every breath, worship the Lord in adoration; meditate on the Lord God in your mind and with your mouth.

Kirapaal Dhaeiaal Rasaal Gun Nidhh Kar Dhaeiaa Saevaa Laaeeai ||
क्रिपाल दइआल रसाल गुण निधि करि दइआ सेवा लाईऐ ॥
O kind and compassionate Lord, O treasure of sublime essence, treasure of excellence, please link me to Your service.

भरम अंधेर बिनास गिआन गुर अंजना ॥
The darkness of doubt is removed by the healing ointment of the Guru's spiritual wisdom.
ਗੁਰ ਗਿਆਨ ਅੰਜਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਪੂਰਿਆ ॥
Gur Giaan Anjan Prabh Niranjan Jal Thhal Meheeal Pooriaa ||
गुर गिआन अंजन प्रभ निरंजन जलि थलि महीअलि पूरिआ ॥
By the healing ointment of the Guru's spiritual wisdom, one meets the Immaculate Lord God, who is totally pervading the water, the land and the sky.
ਇਕ ਨਿਮਖ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਰਿਦੈ ਵਸਿਆ ਮਿਟੇ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਵਿਸੂਰਿਆ ॥
Eik Nimakh Jaa Kai Ridhai Vasiaa Mittae Thisehi Visooriaa ||
इक निमख जा कै रिदै वसिआ मिटे तिसहि विसूरिआ ॥
If He dwells within the heart, for even an instant, sorrows are forgotten.
ਅਗਾਧਿ ਬੋਧ ਸਮਰਥ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਰਬ ਕਾ ਭਉ ਭੰਜਨਾ ॥
Agaadhh Bodhh Samarathh Suaamee Sarab Kaa Bho Bhanjanaa ||
अगाधि बोध समरथ सुआमी सरब का भउ भंजना ॥
The wisdom of the all-powerful Lord and Master is incomprehensible; He is the Destroyer of the fears of all.

Mohi Aasar Thua Charan Thumaaree Saran Sidhhae ||
मोहि आसर तुअ चरन तुमारी सरनि सिधे ॥
I take the support of Your lotus feet, and in the protection of Your Sanctuary, I attain perfection.
ਹਰਿ ਚਰਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਰਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ॥

हरि चरन कारन करन सुआमी पतित उधरन हरि हरे ॥
The Lord's lotus feet are the cause of causes; the Lord Master saves even the sinners.
ਸਾਗਰ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਭਵ ਉਤਾਰ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਬਹੁ ਤਰੇ ॥
Saagar Sansaar Bhav Outhaar Naam Simarath Bahu Tharae ||
सागर संसार भव उतार नामु सिमरत बहु तरे ॥
So many are saved; they cross over the terrifying world-ocean, contemplating the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਖੋਜਹਿ ਸੁਨੀ ਉਧਰਨ ਸੰਤਸੰਗ ਬਿਧੇ ॥
Aadh Anth Baeanth Khojehi Sunee Oudhharan Santhasang Bidhhae ||
आदि अंति बेअंत खोजहि सुनी उधरन संतसंग बिधे ॥
In the beginning and in the end, countless are those who seek the Lord. I have heard that the Society of the Saints is the way to salvation.

जह जह संत अराधहि तह तह प्रगटाइआ ॥
Wherever the Saints worship the Lord in adoration, there He is revealed.
ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪਿ ਲੀਏ ਸਮਾਇ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ ਭਗਤ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਾਰਿਆ ॥
Prabh Aap Leeeae Samaae Sehaj Subhaae Bhagath Kaaraj Saariaa ||
प्रभि आपि लीए समाइ सहजि सुभाइ भगत कारज सारिआ ॥
God blends Himself with His devotees in His natural way, and resolves their affairs.
ਆਨੰਦ ਹਰਿ ਜਸ ਮਹਾ ਮੰਗਲ ਸਰਬ ਦੂਖ ਵਿਸਾਰਿਆ ॥
Aanandh Har Jas Mehaa Mangal Sarab Dhookh Visaariaa ||
आनंद हरि जस महा मंगल सरब दूख विसारिआ ॥
In the ecstasy of the Lord's Praises, they obtain supreme joy, and forget all their sorrows.
