निधि सिधि चरण गहे ता केहा काड़ा ॥
Grasping the Lord's Feet, the treasure of the Siddhas, what suffering can I feel?
ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਵਸਿ ਜਿਸੈ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਅਸਾੜਾ ॥
Sabh Kishh Vas Jisai So Prabhoo Asaarraa ||
सभु किछु वसि जिसै सो प्रभू असाड़ा ॥
Everything is in His Power - He is my God.
ਗਹਿ ਭੁਜਾ ਲੀਨੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀਨੇ ਕਰੁ ਧਾਰਿ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਰਾਖਿਆ ॥
Gehi Bhujaa Leenae Naam Dheenae Kar Dhhaar Masathak Raakhiaa ||
गहि भुजा लीने नाम दीने करु धारि मसतकि राखिआ ॥
Holding me the the arm, He blesses me with His Name; placing His Hand upon my forehead, He saves me.
ਸੰਸਾਰ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਨਹ ਵਿਆਪੈ ਅਮਿਉ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਚਾਖਿਆ ॥
Sansaar Saagar Neh Viaapai Amio Har Ras Chaakhiaa ||
संसार सागरु नह विआपै अमिउ हरि रसु चाखिआ ॥
The world-ocean does not trouble me, for I have drunk the sublime elixir of the Lord.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗੇ ਨਾਮ ਰੰਗੇ ਰਣੁ ਜੀਤਿ ਵਡਾ ਅਖਾੜਾ ॥
Saadhhasangae Naam Rangae Ran Jeeth Vaddaa Akhaarraa ||
साधसंगे नाम रंगे रणु जीति वडा अखाड़ा ॥
In the Saadh Sangat, imbued with the Naam, the Name of the Lord, I am victorious on the great battlefield of life.

बिनवंति नानक सरणि सुआमी बहुड़ि जमि न उपाड़ा ॥४॥३॥१२॥
Prays Nanak, I have entered the Sanctuary of the Lord and Master; the Messenger of Death shall not destroy me again. ||4||3||12||

ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤਿ ਕਮਾਇਅੜੋ ਸੋ ਆਇਓ ਮਾਥੈ ॥
Dhin Raath Kamaaeiarro So Aaeiou Maathhai ||
दिनु राति कमाइअड़ो सो आइओ माथै ॥
Those actions you perform, day and night, are recorded upon your forehead.
ਜਿਸੁ ਪਾਸਿ ਲੁਕਾਇਦੜੋ ਸੋ ਵੇਖੀ ਸਾਥੈ ॥
Jis Paas Lukaaeidharro So Vaekhee Saathhai ||
जिसु पासि लुकाइदड़ो सो वेखी साथै ॥
And the One, from whom you hide these actions - He sees them, and is always with you.
ਸੰਗਿ ਦੇਖੈ ਕਰਣਹਾਰਾ ਕਾਇ ਪਾਪੁ ਕਮਾਈਐ ॥
Sang Dhaekhai Karanehaaraa Kaae Paap Kamaaeeai ||
संगि देखै करणहारा काइ पापु कमाईऐ ॥
The Creator Lord is with you; He sees you, so why commit sins?
ਸੁਕ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਕੀਜੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਲੀਜੈ ਨਰਕਿ ਮੂਲਿ ਨ ਜਾਈਐ ॥
Sukirath Keejai Naam Leejai Narak Mool N Jaaeeai ||
सुक्रितु कीजै नामु लीजै नरकि मूलि न जाईऐ ॥
So perform good deeds, and chant the Naam, the Name of the Lord; you shall never have to go to hell.
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਿਮਰਹੁ ਚਲੈ ਤੇਰੈ ਸਾਥੇ ॥
Aath Pehar Har Naam Simarahu Chalai Thaerai Saathhae ||
आठ पहर हरि नामु सिमरहु चलै तेरै साथे ॥
Twenty-four hours a day, dwell upon the Lord's Name in meditation; it alone shall go along with you.
ਭਜੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਸਦਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਿਟਹਿ ਦੋਖ ਕਮਾਤੇ ॥੧॥
Bhaj Saadhhasangath Sadhaa Naanak Mittehi Dhokh Kamaathae ||1||
भजु साधसंगति सदा नानक मिटहि दोख कमाते ॥१॥
So vibrate continually in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, O Nanak, and the sins you committed shall be erased. ||1||
ਵਲਵੰਚ ਕਰਿ ਉਦਰੁ ਭਰਹਿ ਮੂਰਖ ਗਾਵਾਰਾ ॥
Valavanch Kar Oudhar Bharehi Moorakh Gaavaaraa ||
वलवंच करि उदरु भरहि मूरख गावारा ॥
Practicing deceit, you fill your belly, you ignorant fool!
ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਦੇਵਣਹਾਰਾ ॥
Sabh Kishh Dhae Rehiaa Har Dhaevanehaaraa ||
सभु किछु दे रहिआ हरि देवणहारा ॥
The Lord, the Great Giver, continues to give you everything.
ਦਾਤਾਰੁ ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕਾਇ ਮਨਹੁ ਵਿਸਾਰੀਐ ॥
Dhaathaar Sadhaa Dhaeiaal Suaamee Kaae Manahu Visaareeai ||
दातारु सदा दइआलु सुआमी काइ मनहु विसारीऐ ॥
The Great Giver is always merciful. Why should we forget the Lord Master from our minds?

मिलु साधसंगे भजु निसंगे कुल समूहा तारीऐ ॥
Join the Saadh Sangat, and vibrate fearlessly; all your relations shall be saved.

सिध साधिक देव मुनि जन भगत नामु अधारा ॥
The Siddhas, the seekers, the demi-gods, the silent sages and the devotees, all take the Naam as their support.

Do not practice deception - God is the Assayer of all.

Koorr Kapatt Kamaavadharrae Janamehi Sansaaraa ||
कूड़ु कपटु कमावदड़े जनमहि संसारा ॥
Those who practice falsehood and deceit are reincarnated in the world.
ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੀ ਤਰਿਆ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੀ ਏਕੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
Sansaar Saagar Thinhee Thariaa Jinhee Eaek Dhhiaaeiaa ||
संसारु सागरु तिन्ही तरिआ जिन्ही एकु धिआइआ ॥
Those who meditate on the One Lord, cross over the world-ocean.
ਤਜਿ ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਅਨਿੰਦ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਆਇਆ ॥
Thaj Kaam Krodhh Anindh Nindhaa Prabh Saranaaee Aaeiaa ||
तजि कामु क्रोधु अनिंद निंदा प्रभ सरणाई आइआ ॥
Renouncing sexual desire, anger, flattery and slander, they enter the Sanctuary of God.
ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਰਵਿਆ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਊਚ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
Jal Thhal Meheeal Raviaa Suaamee Ooch Agam Apaaraa ||
जलि थलि महीअलि रविआ सुआमी ऊच अगम अपारा ॥
The lofty, inaccessible and infinite Lord and Master is pervading the water, the land and the sky.
ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਟੇਕ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਚਰਣ ਕਮਲ ਅਧਾਰਾ ॥੩॥

पेखु हरिचंदउरड़ी असथिरु किछु नाही ॥
Behold - the world is a mirage; nothing here is permanent.
ਮਾਇਆ ਰੰਗ ਜੇਤੇ ਸੇ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਜਾਹੀ ॥
Maaeiaa Rang Jaethae Sae Sang N Jaahee ||
माइआ रंग जेते से संगि न जाही ॥
The pleasures of Maya which are here, shall not go with you.
ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਾਥੀ ਸਦਾ ਤੇਰੈ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਰੈਣਿ ਸਮਾਲੀਐ ॥
Har Sang Saathhee Sadhaa Thaerai Dhinas Rain Samaaleeai ||
हरि संगि साथी सदा तेरै दिनसु रैणि समालीऐ ॥
The Lord, your companion, is always with you; remember Him day and night.
ਹਰਿ ਏਕ ਬਿਨੁ ਕਛੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਭਾਉ ਦੁਤੀਆ ਜਾਲੀਐ ॥
Har Eaek Bin Kashh Avar Naahee Bhaao Dhutheeaa Jaaleeai ||
हरि एक बिनु कछु अवरु नाही भाउ दुतीआ जालीऐ ॥
Without the One Lord, there is no other; burn away the love of duality.
ਮੀਤੁ ਜੋਬਨੁ ਮਾਲੁ ਸਰਬਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਏਕੁ ਕਰਿ ਮਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
Meeth Joban Maal Sarabas Prabh Eaek Kar Man Maahee ||
मीतु जोबनु मालु सरबसु प्रभु एकु करि मन माही ॥
Know in your mind, that the One God is your friend, youth, wealth and everything.
ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਵਡਭਾਗਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਸੂਖਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਹੀ ॥੪॥੪॥੧੩॥

गहबर बन घोर गहबर बन घोर हे ग्रिह मूसत मन चोर हे दिनकरो अनदिनु खात ॥
In the terrible, impenetrable world-forest - in the terrible, impenetrable world-forest, the thieves are plundering man's house in broad daylight; night and day, this life is being consumed.
ਦਿਨ ਖਾਤ ਜਾਤ ਬਿਹਾਤ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਿਨੁ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਰੁਣਾ ਪਤੇ ॥

दिन खात जात बिहात प्रभ बिनु मिलहु प्रभ करुणा पते ॥
The days of your life are being consumed; they are passing away without God. So meet God, the Merciful Lord.
