सुनि मन अकथ कथा हरि नाम ॥
Listen, O mind, to the Unspoken Speech of the Lord's Name.
ਰਿਧਿ ਬੁਧਿ ਸਿਧਿ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਭਜੁ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Ridhh Budhh Sidhh Sukh Paavehi Bhaj Guramath Har Raam Raam ||1|| Rehaao ||
रिधि बुधि सिधि सुख पावहि भजु गुरमति हरि राम राम ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Riches, wisdom, supernatural spiritual powers and peace are obtained, by vibrating, meditating on the Lord God, under Guru's Instruction. ||1||Pause||
ਨਾਨਾ ਖਿਆਨ ਪੁਰਾਨ ਜਸੁ ਊਤਮ ਖਟ ਦਰਸਨ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਰਾਮ ॥
Naanaa Khiaan Puraan Jas Ootham Khatt Dharasan Gaavehi Raam ||
नाना खिआन पुरान जसु ऊतम खट दरसन गावहि राम ॥
Numerous legends, the Puraanas, and the six Shaastras, sing the sublime Praises of the Lord.
ਸੰਕਰ ਕ੍ਰੋੜਿ ਤੇਤੀਸ ਧਿਆਇਓ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਨਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਮਰਮਾਮ ॥੧॥
Sankar Krorr Thaethees Dhhiaaeiou Nehee Jaaniou Har Maramaam ||1||
संकर क्रोड़ि तेतीस धिआइओ नही जानिओ हरि मरमाम ॥१॥
Shiva and the three hundred thirty million gods meditate on the Lord, but they do not know the secret of His mystery. ||1||
ਸੁਰਿ ਨਰ ਗਣ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਸਭ ਗਾਵਤ ਜੇਤ ਉਪਾਮ ॥
Sur Nar Gan Gandhhrab Jas Gaavehi Sabh Gaavath Jaeth Oupaam ||
सुरि नर गण गंध्रब जसु गावहि सभ गावत जेत उपाम ॥
The angelic and divine beings, and the celestial singers sing His Praises; all Creation sings of Him.
ਨਾਨਕ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਭਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ॥੨॥੧॥

नानक क्रिपा करी हरि जिन कउ ते संत भले हरि राम ॥२॥१॥
O Nanak, those whom the Lord blesses with His Kind Mercy, become the good Saints of the Lord God. ||2||1||

ਮਨ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਇਓ ॥
Man Mil Santh Janaa Jas Gaaeiou ||
मन मिलि संत जना जसु गाइओ ॥
O mind, those who meet the Lord's humble servants, sing His Praises.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਤਨੁ ਰਤਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਨੀਕੋ ਗੁਰਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਦਾਨੁ ਦਿਵਾਇਓ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Har Har Rathan Rathan Har Neeko Gur Sathigur Dhaan Dhivaaeiou ||1|| Rehaao ||
हरि हरि रतनु रतनु हरि नीको गुरि सतिगुरि दानु दिवाइओ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
They are blessed with the gift of the jewel of the Lord, Har, Har, the sublime jewel of the Lord, by the Guru, the True Guru. ||1||Pause||
ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸਭੁ ਦੇਵਉ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੁਨਾਇਓ ॥
This Jan Ko Man Than Sabh Dhaevo Jin Har Har Naam Sunaaeiou ||
तिसु जन कउ मनु तनु सभु देवउ जिनि हरि हरि नामु सुनाइओ ॥
I offer my mind, body and everything to that humble being who recites the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਧਨੁ ਮਾਇਆ ਸੰਪੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਦੇਵਉ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਮੀਤੁ ਮਿਲਾਇਓ ॥੧॥
Dhhan Maaeiaa Sanpai This Dhaevo Jin Har Meeth Milaaeiou ||1||
धनु माइआ स्मपै तिसु देवउ जिनि हरि मीतु मिलाइओ ॥१॥
I offer my wealth, the riches of Maya and my property to that one who leads me to meet the Lord, my friend. ||1||
ਖਿਨੁ ਕਿੰਚਿਤ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੀ ਜਗਦੀਸਰਿ ਤਬ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਧਿਆਇਓ ॥
Khin Kinchith Kirapaa Karee Jagadheesar Thab Har Har Har Jas Dhhiaaeiou ||
खिनु किंचित क्रिपा करी जगदीसरि तब हरि हरि हरि जसु धिआइओ ॥
When the Lord of the world bestowed just a tiny bit of His Mercy, for just an instant, then I meditated on the Praise of the Lord, Har, Har, Har.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਭੇਟੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੁਖੁ ਹਉਮੈ ਰੋਗੁ ਗਵਾਇਓ ॥੨॥੨॥
Jan Naanak Ko Har Bhaettae Suaamee Dhukh Houmai Rog Gavaaeiou ||2||2||
जन नानक कउ हरि भेटे सुआमी दुखु हउमै रोगु गवाइओ ॥२॥२॥
The Lord and Master has met servant Nanak, and the pain of the sickness of egotism has been eliminated. ||2||2||

ਹਰਿ ਜਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵੈ ॥
Har Jan Raam Naam Gun Gaavai ||
हरि जनु राम नाम गुन गावै ॥
The Lord's humble servant sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord's Name.
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਿੰਦ ਕਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਗੁਨੁ ਨ ਗਵਾਵੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Jae Koee Nindh Karae Har Jan Kee Apunaa Gun N Gavaavai ||1|| Rehaao ||
जे कोई निंद करे हरि जन की अपुना गुनु न गवावै ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Even if someone slanders the Lord's humble servant, he does not give up his own goodness. ||1||Pause||
ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਆਪੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਵੈ ॥
Jo Kishh Karae S Aapae Suaamee Har Aapae Kaar Kamaavai ||
जो किछु करे सु आपे सुआमी हरि आपे कार कमावै ॥
Whatever the Lord and Master does, He does by Himself; the Lord Himself does the deeds.
ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਮਤਿ ਦੇਵੈ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਬੋਲਿ ਬੁਲਾਵੈ ॥੧॥
Har Aapae Hee Math Dhaevai Suaamee Har Aapae Bol Bulaavai ||1||
हरि आपे ही मति देवै सुआमी हरि आपे बोलि बुलावै ॥१॥
The Lord and Master Himself imparts understanding; the Lord Himself inspires us to speak. ||1||
