ੴ ਸਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ੴ सति नामु करता पुरखु निरभउ निरवैरु अकाल मूरति अजूनी सैभं गुर प्रसादि ॥

ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾਂ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿਆ ॥

मेरा मनु साध जनां मिलि हरिआ ॥
Meeting with the Holy people, my mind blossoms forth.
ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾਂ ਕਉ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਾਰਿ ਉਤਰਿਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Ho Bal Bal Bal Bal Saadhh Janaan Ko Mil Sangath Paar Outhariaa ||1|| Rehaao ||
हउ बलि बलि बलि बलि साध जनां कउ मिलि संगति पारि उतरिआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice to those Holy beings; joining the Sangat, the Congregation, I am carried across to the other side. ||1||Pause||
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਪਨੀ ਹਮ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾਂ ਪਗ ਪਰਿਆ ॥
Har Har Kirapaa Karahu Prabh Apanee Ham Saadhh Janaan Pag Pariaa ||
हरि हरि क्रिपा करहु प्रभ अपनी हम साध जनां पग परिआ ॥
O Lord, Har, Har, please bless me with Your Mercy, God, that I may fall at the feet of the Holy.
ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸਾਧ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜਾਨਿਆ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਰਿਆ ॥੧॥
Dhhan Dhhan Saadhh Jin Har Prabh Jaaniaa Mil Saadhhoo Pathith Oudhhariaa ||1||
धनु धनु साध जिन हरि प्रभु जानिआ मिलि साधू पतित उधरिआ ॥१॥
Blessed, blessed are the Holy, who know the Lord God. Meeting with the Holy, even sinners are saved. ||1||
ਮਨੂਆ ਚਲੈ ਚਲੈ ਬਹੁ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਵਸਗਤਿ ਕਰਿਆ ॥
Manooaa Chalai Chalai Bahu Bahu Bidhh Mil Saadhhoo Vasagath Kariaa ||
मनूआ चलै चलै बहु बहु बिधि मिलि साधू वसगति करिआ ॥
The mind roams and rambles all around in all directions. Meeting with the Holy, it is overpowered and brought under control,
ਜਿਉਂ ਜਲ ਤੰਤੁ ਪਸਾਰਿਓ ਬਧਕਿ ਗ੍ਰਸਿ ਮੀਨਾ ਵਸਗਤਿ ਖਰਿਆ ॥੨॥
Jioun Jal Thanth Pasaariou Badhhak Gras Meenaa Vasagath Khariaa ||2||
जिउं जल तंतु पसारिओ बधकि ग्रसि मीना वसगति खरिआ ॥२॥
Just as when the fisherman spreads his net over the water, he catches and overpowers the fish. ||2||
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਸੰਤ ਭਲ ਨੀਕੇ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਮਲੁ ਲਹੀਆ ॥
Har Kae Santh Santh Bhal Neekae Mil Santh Janaa Mal Leheeaa ||
हरि के संत संत भल नीके मिलि संत जना मलु लहीआ ॥
The Saints, the Saints of the Lord, are noble and good. Meeting with the humble Saints, filth is washed away.
ਹਉਮੈ ਦੁਰਤੁ ਗਇਆ ਸਭੁ ਨੀਕਰਿ ਜਿਉ ਸਾਬੁਨਿ ਕਾਪਰੁ ਕਰਿਆ ॥੩॥
Houmai Dhurath Gaeiaa Sabh Neekar Jio Saabun Kaapar Kariaa ||3||
हउमै दुरतु गइआ सभु नीकरि जिउ साबुनि कापरु करिआ ॥३॥
All the sins and egotism are washed away, like soap washing dirty clothes. ||3||
ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲਿਲਾਟਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਧੁਰਿ ਠਾਕੁਰਿ ਗੁਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਚਰਨ ਉਰ ਧਰਿਆ ॥
Masathak Lilaatt Likhiaa Dhhur Thaakur Gur Sathigur Charan Our Dhhariaa ||
मसतकि लिलाटि लिखिआ धुरि ठाकुरि गुर सतिगुर चरन उर धरिआ ॥
According to that pre-ordained destiny inscribed on my forehead by my Lord and Master, I have enshrined the Feet of the Guru, the True Guru, within my heart.
ਸਭੁ ਦਾਲਦੁ ਦੂਖ ਭੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਉਧਰਿਆ ॥੪॥੧॥
Sabh Dhaaladh Dhookh Bhanj Prabh Paaeiaa Jan Naanak Naam Oudhhariaa ||4||1||
सभु दालदु दूख भंज प्रभु पाइआ जन नानक नामि उधरिआ ॥४॥१॥
I have found God, the Destroyer of all poverty and pain; servant Nanak is saved through the Naam. ||4||1||

ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਪਗ ਰੇਨ ॥
Maeraa Man Santh Janaa Pag Raen ||
मेरा मनु संत जना पग रेन ॥
My mind is the dust of the feet of the Saints.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਨੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਨੁ ਕੋਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਭੇਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Har Har Kathhaa Sunee Mil Sangath Man Koraa Har Rang Bhaen ||1|| Rehaao ||
हरि हरि कथा सुनी मिलि संगति मनु कोरा हरि रंगि भेन ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Joining the Sangat, the Congregation, I listen to the sermon of the Lord, Har, Har. My crude and uncultured mind is drenched with the Love of the Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਹਮ ਅਚਿਤ ਅਚੇਤ ਨ ਜਾਨਹਿ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਗੁਰਿ ਕੀਏ ਸੁਚਿਤ ਚਿਤੇਨ ॥
Ham Achith Achaeth N Jaanehi Gath Mith Gur Keeeae Suchith Chithaen ||
हम अचित अचेत न जानहि गति मिति गुरि कीए सुचित चितेन ॥
I am thoughtless and unconscious; I do not know God's state and extent. The Guru has made me thoughtful and conscious.
ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲਿ ਕੀਓ ਅੰਗੀਕ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਮਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪੇਨ ॥੧॥
Prabh Dheen Dhaeiaal Keeou Angeekirath Man Har Har Naam Japaen ||1||
प्रभि दीन दइआलि कीओ अंगीक्रितु मनि हरि हरि नामु जपेन ॥१॥
God is Merciful to the meek; He has made me His Own. My mind chants and meditates on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਮਿਲਹਿ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਕਟਿ ਦੇਵਉ ਹੀਅਰਾ ਤੇਨ ॥
Har Kae Santh Milehi Man Preetham Katt Dhaevo Heearaa Thaen ||
हरि के संत मिलहि मन प्रीतम कटि देवउ हीअरा तेन ॥
Meeting with the Lord's Saints, the Beloveds of the mind, I would cut out my heart, and offer it to them.
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਮਿਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹਮ ਕੀਏ ਪਤਿਤ ਪਵੇਨ ॥੨॥
Har Kae Santh Milae Har Miliaa Ham Keeeae Pathith Pavaen ||2||
हरि के संत मिले हरि मिलिआ हम कीए पतित पवेन ॥२॥
Meeting with the Lord's Saints, I meet with the Lord; this sinner has been sanctified. ||2||
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਜਨ ਊਤਮ ਜਗਿ ਕਹੀਅਹਿ ਜਿਨ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਪਾਥਰ ਸੇਨ ॥
Har Kae Jan Ootham Jag Keheeahi Jin Miliaa Paathhar Saen ||
हरि के जन ऊतम जगि कहीअहि जिन मिलिआ पाथर सेन ॥
The humble servants of the Lord are said to be exalted in this world; meeting with them, even stones are softened.
