ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਸੇ ਉਧਰੇ ਜਿਨ ਰਾਮ ਧਿਆਏ ॥
Sae Oudhharae Jin Raam Dhhiaaeae ||
से उधरे जिन राम धिआए ॥
They alone are saved, who meditate on the Lord.
ਜਤਨ ਮਾਇਆ ਕੇ ਕਾਮਿ ਨ ਆਏ ॥
Jathan Maaeiaa Kae Kaam N Aaeae ||
जतन माइआ के कामि न आए ॥
Working for Maya is useless.
ਰਾਮ ਧਿਆਏ ਸਭਿ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ਧਨਿ ਧੰਨਿ ਤੇ ਬਡਭਾਗੀਆ ॥
Raam Dhhiaaeae Sabh Fal Paaeae Dhhan Dhhann Thae Baddabhaageeaa ||
राम धिआए सभि फल पाए धनि धंनि ते बडभागीआ ॥
Meditating on the Lord, all fruits and rewards are obtained. They are blessed, blessed and very fortunate.
ਸਤਸੰਗਿ ਜਾਗੇ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਾਗੇ ਏਕ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀਆ ॥
Sathasang Jaagae Naam Laagae Eaek Sio Liv Laageeaa ||
सतसंगि जागे नामि लागे एक सिउ लिव लागीआ ॥
They are awake and aware in the True Congregation; attached to the Naam, they are lovingly attuned to the One.
ਤਜਿ ਮਾਨ ਮੋਹ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਸਾਧੂ ਲਗਿ ਤਰਉ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਪਾਏ ॥
Thaj Maan Moh Bikaar Saadhhoo Lag Tharo Thin Kai Paaeae ||
तजि मान मोह बिकार साधू लगि तरउ तिन कै पाए ॥
I have renounced pride, emotional attachment, wickedness and corruption; attached to the Holy, I am carried across at their feet.
ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਣਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਬਡਭਾਗਿ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਪਾਏ ॥੧॥
Binavanth Naanak Saran Suaamee Baddabhaag Dharasan Paaeae ||1||
बिनवंति नानक सरणि सुआमी बडभागि दरसनु पाए ॥१॥
Prays Nanak, I have come to the Sanctuary of my Lord and Master; by great good fortune, I obtain the Blessed Vision of His Darshan. ||1||
ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਨਿਤ ਭਜਹ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ॥
Mil Saadhhoo Nith Bhajeh Naaraaein ||
मिलि साधू नित भजह नाराइण ॥
The Holy meet together, and continually vibrate and meditate on the Lord.
ਰਸਕਿ ਰਸਕਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇਣ ॥
Rasak Rasak Suaamee Gun Gaaein ||
रसकि रसकि सुआमी गुण गाइण ॥
With love and excitement, they sing the Glorious Praises of their Lord and Master.
ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ਜੀਵਹ ਹਰਿ ਅਮਿਉ ਪੀਵਹ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣਾ ਭਾਗਏ ॥
Gun Gaae Jeeveh Har Amio Peeveh Janam Maranaa Bhaageae ||
गुण गाइ जीवह हरि अमिउ पीवह जनम मरणा भागए ॥
Singing His Praises they live, drinking in the Lord's Nectar; the cycle of birth and death is over for them.
ਸਤਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਲਾਗਏ ॥
Sathasang Paaeeai Har Dhhiaaeeai Bahurr Dhookh N Laageae ||
सतसंगि पाईऐ हरि धिआईऐ बहुड़ि दूखु न लागए ॥
Finding the True Congregation and meditating on the Lord, one is never again afflicted with pain.
ਕਰਿ ਦਇਆ ਦਾਤੇ ਪੁਰਖ ਬਿਧਾਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਸੇਵ ਕਮਾਇਣ ॥
Kar Dhaeiaa Dhaathae Purakh Bidhhaathae Santh Saev Kamaaein ||
करि दइआ दाते पुरख बिधाते संत सेव कमाइण ॥
By the Grace of the Great Giver, the Architect of Destiny, we work to serve the Saints.
ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਨ ਧੂਰਿ ਬਾਂਛਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਇਣ ॥੨॥
Binavanth Naanak Jan Dhhoor Baanshhehi Har Dharas Sehaj Samaaein ||2||
बिनवंति नानक जन धूरि बांछहि हरि दरसि सहजि समाइण ॥२॥
Prays Nanak, I long for the dust of the feet of the humble; I am intuitively absorbed in the Blessed Vision of the Lord. ||2||
ਸਗਲੇ ਜੰਤ ਭਜਹੁ ਗੋਪਾਲੈ ॥
Sagalae Janth Bhajahu Gopaalai ||
सगले जंत भजहु गोपालै ॥
All beings vibrate and meditate on the Lord of the World.
ਜਪ ਤਪ ਸੰਜਮ ਪੂਰਨ ਘਾਲੈ ॥
Jap Thap Sanjam Pooran Ghaalai ||
जप तप संजम पूरन घालै ॥
This brings the merits of chanting and meditation, austere self-discipline and perfect service.
ਨਿਤ ਭਜਹੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਸਫਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਸਬਾਇਆ ॥
Nith Bhajahu Suaamee Antharajaamee Safal Janam Sabaaeiaa ||
नित भजहु सुआमी अंतरजामी सफल जनमु सबाइआ ॥
Vibrating and meditating continuously on our Lord and Master, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, one's life becomes totally fruitful.
ਗੋਬਿਦੁ ਗਾਈਐ ਨਿਤ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ਸੋਈ ਆਇਆ ॥
Gobidh Gaaeeai Nith Dhhiaaeeai Paravaan Soee Aaeiaa ||
गोबिदु गाईऐ नित धिआईऐ परवाणु सोई आइआ ॥
Those who sing and meditate continually on the Lord of the Universe - their coming into the world is blessed and approved.
ਜਪ ਤਾਪ ਸੰਜਮ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਧਨੁ ਸੰਗਿ ਚਾਲੈ ॥
Jap Thaap Sanjam Har Har Niranjan Gobindh Dhhan Sang Chaalai ||
जप ताप संजम हरि हरि निरंजन गोबिंद धनु संगि चालै ॥
The Immaculate Lord, Har, Har, is meditation and chanting, and austere self-discipline; only the Wealth of the Lord of the Universe shall go along with you in the end.
ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਰਿ ਦਇਆ ਦੀਜੈ ਹਰਿ ਰਤਨੁ ਬਾਧਉ ਪਾਲੈ ॥੩॥
Binavanth Naanak Kar Dhaeiaa Dheejai Har Rathan Baadhho Paalai ||3||
बिनवंति नानक करि दइआ दीजै हरि रतनु बाधउ पालै ॥३॥
Prays Nanak, please grant Your Grace, O Lord, and bless me with the Jewel, that I may carry it in my pocket. ||3||
ਮੰਗਲਚਾਰ ਚੋਜ ਆਨੰਦਾ ॥
Mangalachaar Choj Aanandhaa ||
मंगलचार चोज आनंदा ॥
His Wondrous and Amazing Plays are blissful
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਮਿਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ ॥
Kar Kirapaa Milae Paramaanandhaa ||
करि किरपा मिले परमानंदा ॥
Granting His Grace, He bestows supreme ecstasy.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮਿਲੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੁਖਹਗਾਮੀ ਇਛ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਪੁੰਨੀਆ ॥
Prabh Milae Suaamee Sukhehagaamee Eishh Man Kee Punneeaa ||
प्रभ मिले सुआमी सुखहगामी इछ मन की पुंनीआ ॥
God, my Lord and Master, the Bringer of peace, has met me, and the desires of my mind are fulfilled.
ਬਜੀ ਬਧਾਈ ਸਹਜੇ ਸਮਾਈ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਦੂਖਿ ਨ ਰੁੰਨੀਆ ॥
Bajee Badhhaaee Sehajae Samaaee Bahurr Dhookh N Runneeaa ||
बजी बधाई सहजे समाई बहुड़ि दूखि न रुंनीआ ॥
Congratulations pour in; I am intuitively absorbed in the Lord. I shall never again cry out in pain.
ਲੇ ਕੰਠਿ ਲਾਏ ਸੁਖ ਦਿਖਾਏ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਮੰਦਾ ॥
Lae Kanth Laaeae Sukh Dhikhaaeae Bikaar Binasae Mandhaa ||
ले कंठि लाए सुख दिखाए बिकार बिनसे मंदा ॥
He hugs me close in His Embrace, and blesses me with peace; the evil of sin and corruption is gone.
ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਿਲੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪੁਰਖ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ ॥੪॥੧॥

बिनवंति नानक मिले सुआमी पुरख परमानंदा ॥४॥१॥
Prays Nanak, I have met my Lord and Master, the Primal Lord, the Embodiment of Bliss. ||4||1||

Raam Naam Nidhhaan Har Guramath Rakh Our Dhhaar ||
राम नामु निधानु हरि गुरमति रखु उर धारि ॥
Follow the Guru's Teachings, and enshrine the Treasure of the Lord's Name within your heart.
ਦਾਸਨ ਦਾਸਾ ਹੋਇ ਰਹੁ ਹਉਮੈ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਮਾਰਿ ॥
Dhaasan Dhaasaa Hoe Rahu Houmai Bikhiaa Maar ||
दासन दासा होइ रहु हउमै बिखिआ मारि ॥
Become the slave of the Lord's slaves, and conquer egotism and corruption.
ਜਨਮੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਜੀਤਿਆ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਹਾਰਿ ॥
Janam Padhaarathh Jeethiaa Kadhae N Aavai Haar ||
जनमु पदारथु जीतिआ कदे न आवै हारि ॥
You shall win this treasure of life; you shall never lose.
ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਨਾਨਕਾ ਜਿਨ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਸਾਰਿ ॥੧॥
Dhhan Dhhan Vaddabhaagee Naanakaa Jin Guramath Har Ras Saar ||1||
धनु धनु वडभागी नानका जिन गुरमति हरि रसु सारि ॥१॥
Blessed, blessed and very fortunate are those, O Nanak, who savor the Sublime Essence of the Lord through the Guru's Teachings. ||1||

गोविंदु गोविदु गोविदु हरि गोविदु गुणी निधानु ॥
Govind, Govind, Govind - the Lord God, the Lord of the Universe is the Treasure of Virtue.
ਗੋਵਿਦੁ ਗੋਵਿਦੁ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਤਾਂ ਦਰਗਹ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਾਨੁ ॥
Govidh Govidh Guramath Dhhiaaeeai Thaan Dharageh Paaeeai Maan ||
गोविदु गोविदु गुरमति धिआईऐ तां दरगह पाईऐ मानु ॥
Meditating on Govind, Govind, the Lord of the Universe, through the Guru's Teachings, you shall be honored in the Court of the Lord.
