ਭਾਂਡਾ ਧੋਇ ਬੈਸਿ ਧੂਪੁ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਤਉ ਦੂਧੈ ਕਉ ਜਾਵਹੁ ॥
Bhaanddaa Dhhoe Bais Dhhoop Dhaevahu Tho Dhoodhhai Ko Jaavahu ||
भांडा धोइ बैसि धूपु देवहु तउ दूधै कउ जावहु ॥
Wash the vessel, sit down and anoint it with fragrance; then, go out and get the milk.
ਦੂਧੁ ਕਰਮ ਫੁਨਿ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਸਮਾਇਣੁ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਰਾਸ ਜਮਾਵਹੁ ॥੧॥
Dhoodhh Karam Fun Surath Samaaein Hoe Niraas Jamaavahu ||1||
दूधु करम फुनि सुरति समाइणु होइ निरास जमावहु ॥१॥
Add the rennet of clear consciousness to the milk of good deeds, and then, free of desire, let it curdle. ||1||

Let your mind be the handles, and then churn it, without sleeping.
ਰਸਨਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਤਬ ਮਥੀਐ ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪਾਵਹੁ ॥੨॥
Rasanaa Naam Japahu Thab Mathheeai Ein Bidhh Anmrith Paavahu ||2||
रसना नामु जपहु तब मथीऐ इन बिधि अम्रितु पावहु ॥२॥
If you chant the Naam, the Name of the Lord ,with your tongue, then the curd will be churned. In this way, the Ambrosial Nectar is obtained. ||2||
ਮਨੁ ਸੰਪਟੁ ਜਿਤੁ ਸਤ ਸਰਿ ਨਾਵਣੁ ਭਾਵਨ ਪਾਤੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਕਰੇ ॥
Man Sanpatt Jith Sath Sar Naavan Bhaavan Paathee Thripath Karae ||
मनु स्मपटु जितु सत सरि नावणु भावन पाती त्रिपति करे ॥
Wash your mind in the pool of Truth, and let it be the vessel of the Lord; let this be your offering to please Him.
ਪੂਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਜੇ ਸੇਵੇ ਇਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਰਵਤੁ ਰਹੈ ॥੩॥
Poojaa Praan Saevak Jae Saevae Einh Bidhh Saahib Ravath Rehai ||3||
पूजा प्राण सेवकु जे सेवे इन्ह बिधि साहिबु रवतु रहै ॥३॥
That humble servant who dedicates and offers his life, and who serves in this way, remains absorbed in his Lord and Master. ||3||
ਕਹਦੇ ਕਹਹਿ ਕਹੇ ਕਹਿ ਜਾਵਹਿ ਤੁਮ ਸਰਿ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥
Kehadhae Kehehi Kehae Kehi Jaavehi Thum Sar Avar N Koee ||
कहदे कहहि कहे कहि जावहि तुम सरि अवरु न कोई ॥
The speakers speak and speak and speak, and then they depart. There is no other to compare to You.
ਭਗਤਿ ਹੀਣੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜਨੁ ਜੰਪੈ ਹਉ ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ਸਚਾ ਸੋਈ ॥੪॥੧॥

होवहु चाकर साचे केरे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

ਗਿਆਨੁ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਈ ਰਵੈ ॥

गिआनु धिआनु सभु कोई रवै ॥
Everyone speaks of wisdom and meditation;
ਬਾਂਧਨਿ ਬਾਂਧਿਆ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਭਵੈ ॥੨॥
Baandhhan Baandhhiaa Sabh Jag Bhavai ||2||
बांधनि बांधिआ सभु जगु भवै ॥२॥
But bound in bondage, the whole world is wandering around in confusion. ||2||
ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਚਾਕਰੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Saevaa Karae S Chaakar Hoe ||
सेवा करे सु चाकरु होइ ॥
One who serves the Lord is His servant.
ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸੋਇ ॥੩॥
Jal Thhal Meheeal Rav Rehiaa Soe ||3||
जलि थलि महीअलि रवि रहिआ सोइ ॥३॥
The Lord is pervading and permeating the water, the land, and the sky. ||3||
ਹਮ ਨਹੀ ਚੰਗੇ ਬੁਰਾ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਇ ॥
Ham Nehee Changae Buraa Nehee Koe ||
हम नही चंगे बुरा नही कोइ ॥
I am not good; no one is bad.
ਪ੍ਰਣਵਤਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਾਰੇ ਸੋਇ ॥੪॥੧॥੨॥
