ਐਸੋ ਦਾਨੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਜੀ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਜਾਤ ਜੀਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਿ ॥
Aiso Dhaan Dhaehu Jee Santhahu Jaath Jeeo Balihaar ||
ऐसो दानु देहु जी संतहु जात जीउ बलिहारि ॥
Give me that blessing, O Dear Saints, for which my soul would be a sacrifice.
ਮਾਨ ਮੋਹੀ ਪੰਚ ਦੋਹੀ ਉਰਝਿ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਬਸਿਓ ਤਾਕੀ ਸਰਨਿ ਸਾਧੂਆ ਦੂਤ ਸੰਗੁ ਨਿਵਾਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Maan Mohee Panch Dhohee Ourajh Nikatt Basiou Thaakee Saran Saadhhooaa Dhooth Sang Nivaar ||1|| Rehaao ||
मान मोही पंच दोही उरझि निकटि बसिओ ताकी सरनि साधूआ दूत संगु निवारि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Enticed by pride, entrapped and plundered by the five thieves, still, you live near them. I have come to the Sanctuary of the Holy, and I have been rescued from my association with those demons. ||1||Pause||
ਕੋਟਿ ਜਨਮ ਜੋਨਿ ਭ੍ਰਮਿਓ ਹਾਰਿ ਪਰਿਓ ਦੁਆਰਿ ॥੧॥
Kott Janam Jon Bhramiou Haar Pariou Dhuaar ||1||
कोटि जनम जोनि भ्रमिओ हारि परिओ दुआरि ॥१॥
I wandered through millions of lifetimes and incarnations. I am so very tired - I have fallen at God's Door. ||1||
ਕਿਰਪਾ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਭਈ ਮਿਲਿਓ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥
Kirapaa Gobindh Bhee Miliou Naam Adhhaar ||
किरपा गोबिंद भई मिलिओ नामु अधारु ॥
The Lord of the Universe has become Kind to me; He has blessed me with the Support of the Naam.

सहज सुभाए आपन आए ॥
He Himself has come to me, in His Natural Way.
ਕਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਨੌ ਕਛੂ ਦਿਖਾਏ ॥
Kashhoo N Jaana Kashhoo Dhikhaaeae ||
कछू न जानौ कछू दिखाए ॥
I know nothing, and I show nothing.
ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮਿਲਿਓ ਸੁਖ ਬਾਲੇ ਭੋਲੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

प्रभु मिलिओ सुख बाले भोले ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
I have met God through innocent faith, and He has blessed me with peace. ||1||Pause||
ਸੰਜੋਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਾਏ ॥
Sanjog Milaaeae Saadhh Sangaaeae ||
संजोगि मिलाए साध संगाए ॥
By the good fortune of my destiny, I have joined the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਕਤਹੂ ਨ ਜਾਏ ਘਰਹਿ ਬਸਾਏ ॥
Kathehoo N Jaaeae Gharehi Basaaeae ||
कतहू न जाए घरहि बसाए ॥
I do not go out anywhere; I dwell in my own home.
ਗੁਨ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਿਓ ਇਹ ਚੋਲੈ ॥੧॥
Gun Nidhhaan Pragattiou Eih Cholai ||1||
गुन निधानु प्रगटिओ इह चोलै ॥१॥
God, the Treasure of Virtue, has been revealed in this body-robe. ||1||
ਚਰਨ ਲੁਭਾਏ ਆਨ ਤਜਾਏ ॥
Charan Lubhaaeae Aan Thajaaeae ||
चरन लुभाए आन तजाए ॥
I have fallen in love with His Feet; I have abandoned everything else.
ਥਾਨ ਥਨਾਏ ਸਰਬ ਸਮਾਏ ॥
Thhaan Thhanaaeae Sarab Samaaeae ||
थान थनाए सरब समाए ॥
In the places and interspaces, He is All-pervading.
ਰਸਕਿ ਰਸਕਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਗੁਨ ਬੋਲੈ ॥੨॥੧॥੪੬॥

रसकि रसकि नानकु गुन बोलै ॥२॥१॥४६॥

ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਮਿਲਨ ਦੁਰਾਈ ॥

गोबिंद ठाकुर मिलन दुराईं ॥
It is so hard to meet the Lord of the Universe, my Lord and Master.
ਪਰਮਿਤਿ ਰੂਪੁ ਅਗੰਮ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਰਹਿਓ ਸਰਬ ਸਮਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Paramith Roop Aganm Agochar Rehiou Sarab Samaaee ||1|| Rehaao ||
परमिति रूपु अगम अगोचर रहिओ सरब समाई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
His Form is Immeasurable, Inaccessible and Unfathomable; He is All-pervading everywhere. ||1||Pause||
ਕਹਨਿ ਭਵਨਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਪਾਇਓ ਪਾਇਓ ਅਨਿਕ ਉਕਤਿ ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ॥੧॥
Kehan Bhavan Naahee Paaeiou Paaeiou Anik Oukath Chathuraaee ||1||
कहनि भवनि नाही पाइओ पाइओ अनिक उकति चतुराई ॥१॥
By speaking and wandering, nothing is gained; nothing is obtained by clever tricks and devices. ||1||
ਜਤਨ ਜਤਨ ਅਨਿਕ ਉਪਾਵ ਰੇ ਤਉ ਮਿਲਿਓ ਜਉ ਕਿਰਪਾਈ ॥
Jathan Jathan Anik Oupaav Rae Tho Miliou Jo Kirapaaee ||
जतन जतन अनिक उपाव रे तउ मिलिओ जउ किरपाई ॥
People try all sorts of things, but the Lord is only met when He shows His Mercy.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਇਆਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤ ਰੇਨਾਈ ॥੨॥੨॥੪੭॥
Prabhoo Dhaeiaar Kirapaar Kirapaa Nidhh Jan Naanak Santh Raenaaee ||2||2||47||
प्रभू दइआर क्रिपार क्रिपा निधि जन नानक संत रेनाई ॥२॥२॥४७॥
God is Kind and Compassionate, the Treasure of Mercy; servant Nanak is the dust of the feet of the Saints. ||2||2||47||

Maaee Simarath Raam Raam Raam ||
माई सिमरत राम राम राम ॥
O mother, I meditate on the Lord, Raam, Raam, Raam.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਹੋਰੁ ॥
Prabh Binaa Naahee Hor ||
प्रभ बिना नाही होरु ॥
Without God, there is no other at all.
ਚਿਤਵਉ ਚਰਨਾਰਬਿੰਦ ਸਾਸਨ ਨਿਸਿ ਭੋਰ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Chithavo Charanaarabindh Saasan Nis Bhor ||1|| Rehaao ||
चितवउ चरनारबिंद सासन निसि भोर ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
I remember His Lotus Feet with every breath, night and day. ||1||Pause||
ਲਾਇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕੀਨ ਆਪਨ ਤੂਟਤ ਨਹੀ ਜੋਰੁ ॥
Laae Preeth Keen Aapan Thoottath Nehee Jor ||
लाइ प्रीति कीन आपन तूटत नही जोरु ॥
He loves me and makes me His Own; my union with Him shall never be broken.
ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਮਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸਰਬਸ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਨਿਧੇ ਸੁਖ ਮੋਰ ॥੧॥
Praan Man Dhhan Sarabasuo Har Gun Nidhhae Sukh Mor ||1||
प्रान मनु धनु सरबसो हरि गुन निधे सुख मोर ॥१॥
He is my breath of life, mind, wealth and everything. The Lord is the Treasure of Virtue and Peace. ||1||
ਈਤ ਊਤ ਰਾਮ ਪੂਰਨੁ ਨਿਰਖਤ ਰਿਦ ਖੋਰਿ ॥
Eeth Ooth Raam Pooran Nirakhath Ridh Khor ||
ईत ऊत राम पूरनु निरखत रिद खोरि ॥
Here and hereafter, the Lord is perfectly pervading; He is seen deep within the heart.
ਸੰਤ ਸਰਨ ਤਰਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਿਨਸਿਓ ਦੁਖੁ ਘੋਰ ॥੨॥੩॥੪੮॥
Santh Saran Tharan Naanak Binasiou Dhukh Ghor ||2||3||48||
संत सरन तरन नानक बिनसिओ दुखु घोर ॥२॥३॥४८॥
In the Sanctuary of the Saints, I am carried across; O Nanak, the terrible pain has been taken away. ||2||3||48||

जन को प्रभु संगे असनेहु ॥
God's humble servant is in love with Him.
ਸਾਜਨੋ ਤੂ ਮੀਤੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਤੇਰੈ ਸਭੁ ਕੇਹੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Saajano Thoo Meeth Maeraa Grihi Thaerai Sabh Kaehu ||1|| Rehaao ||
साजनो तू मीतु मेरा ग्रिहि तेरै सभु केहु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
You are my Friend, my very best Friend; everything is in Your Home. ||1||Pause||
ਮਾਨੁ ਮਾਂਗਉ ਤਾਨੁ ਮਾਂਗਉ ਧਨੁ ਲਖਮੀ ਸੁਤ ਦੇਹ ॥੧॥
Maan Maango Thaan Maango Dhhan Lakhamee Suth Dhaeh ||1||
मानु मांगउ तानु मांगउ धनु लखमी सुत देह ॥१॥
I beg for honor, I beg for strength; please bless me with wealth, property and children. ||1||

मुकति जुगति भुगति पूरन परमानंद परम निधान ॥
You are the Technology of liberation, the Way to worldly success, the Perfect Lord of Supreme Bliss, the Transcendent Treasure.
