Millions of serpents prepare His bed.

समुंद कोटि जा के पानीहार ॥
Millions of oceans are His water-carriers.

रोमावलि कोटि अठारह भार ॥३॥
The eighteen million loads of vegetation are His Hair. ||3||

Millions of treasurers fill His Treasury.

कोटिक लखिमी करै सीगार ॥
Millions of Lakshmis adorn themselves for Him.

कोटिक पाप पुंन बहु हिरहि ॥
Many millions of vices and virtues look up to Him.

Fifty-six million clouds are His.

In each and every village, His infinite fame has spread.

Wild demons with dishevelled hair move about.

कोटि जग जा कै दरबार ॥
Millions of charitable feasts are held in His Court,
ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਕੋਟਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਜੈਕਾਰ ॥
Gandhhrab Kott Karehi Jaikaar ||
गंध्रब कोटि करहि जैकार ॥
And millions of celestial singers celebrate His victory.
ਬਿਦਿਆ ਕੋਟਿ ਸਭੈ ਗੁਨ ਕਹੈ ॥
Bidhiaa Kott Sabhai Gun Kehai ||
बिदिआ कोटि सभै गुन कहै ॥
Millions of sciences all sing His Praises.
ਤਊ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਲਹੈ ॥੬॥

तऊ पारब्रहम का अंतु न लहै ॥६॥
Even so, the limits of the Supreme Lord God cannot be found. ||6||

बावन कोटि जा कै रोमावली ॥
Rama, with millions of monkeys,

रावन सैना जह ते छली ॥
Conquered Raawan's army.

One who stays away from others' wealth and others' spouses
ਤਾ ਕੈ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਬਸੈ ਨਰਹਰੀ ॥੧॥
Thaa Kai Nikatt Basai Nareharee ||1||
ता कै निकटि बसै नरहरी ॥१॥
- the Lord abides near that person. ||1||
ਜੋ ਨ ਭਜੰਤੇ ਨਾਰਾਇਣਾ ॥

जो न भजंते नाराइणा ॥
Those who do not meditate and vibrate on the Lord

ना सोहै बतीस लखना ॥३॥२॥
Does not look handsome, even if he has the thirty-two beauty marks. ||3||2||
ਦੂਧੁ ਕਟੋਰੈ ਗਡਵੈ ਪਾਨੀ ॥
Dhoodhh Kattorai Gaddavai Paanee ||
दूधु कटोरै गडवै पानी ॥
Naam Dayv milked the brown cow,
ਕਪਲ ਗਾਇ ਨਾਮੈ ਦੁਹਿ ਆਨੀ ॥੧॥
Kapal Gaae Naamai Dhuhi Aanee ||1||
कपल गाइ नामै दुहि आनी ॥१॥
And brought a cup of milk and a jug of water to his family god. ||1||
ਦੂਧੁ ਪੀਉ ਗੋਬਿੰਦੇ ਰਾਇ ॥

दूधु पीउ गोबिंदे राइ ॥
"Please drink this milk, O my Sovereign Lord God.
ਦੂਧੁ ਪੀਉ ਮੇਰੋ ਮਨੁ ਪਤੀਆਇ ॥
Dhoodhh Peeo Maero Man Patheeaae ||
दूधु पीउ मेरो मनु पतीआइ ॥
Drink this milk and my mind will be happy.
ਨਾਹੀ ਤ ਘਰ ਕੋ ਬਾਪੁ ਰਿਸਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

नाही त घर को बापु रिसाइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Taking the golden cup, Naam Dayv filled it with the ambrosial milk,

Lai Naamai Har Aagai Dhharee ||2||
लै नामै हरि आगै धरी ॥२॥
And placed it before the Lord. ||2||
ਏਕੁ ਭਗਤੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਬਸੈ ॥
Eaek Bhagath Maerae Hiradhae Basai ||
एकु भगतु मेरे हिरदे बसै ॥
The Lord looked upon Naam Dayv and smiled.
ਨਾਮੇ ਦੇਖਿ ਨਰਾਇਨੁ ਹਸੈ ॥੩॥
Naamae Dhaekh Naraaein Hasai ||3||
नामे देखि नराइनु हसै ॥३॥
This one devotee abides within my heart.""||3||
ਦੂਧੁ ਪੀਆਇ ਭਗਤੁ ਘਰਿ ਗਇਆ ॥
