Bhagath Vashhal Har Naam Hai Guramukh Har Leenaa Raam ||
भगति वछलु हरि नामु है गुरमुखि हरि लीना राम ॥
The Name of the Lord is the Lover of His devotees; the Gurmukhs attain the Lord.
ਬਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਨ ਜੀਵਦੇ ਜਿਉ ਜਲ ਬਿਨੁ ਮੀਨਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
Bin Har Naam N Jeevadhae Jio Jal Bin Meenaa Raam ||
बिनु हरि नाम न जीवदे जिउ जल बिनु मीना राम ॥
Without the Name of the Lord, they cannot even live, like the fish without water.

Har Prabh Sajan Lorr Lahu Man Vasai Vaddabhaag ||
हरि प्रभु सजणु लोड़ि लहु मनि वसै वडभागु ॥
Seek out the Lord God, your only true Friend. He shall dwell in your mind, by great good fortune.

अंतरि कमलु परगासिआ गुर गिआनी जागे राम ॥
Her heart-lotus deep within has blossomed forth, and through the Guru, spiritual wisdom has been awakened within her.

अगिआनु अंधेरा कटिआ जोति परगटिआई राम ॥
The darkness of ignorance is dispelled, and the Divine Light radiantly shines forth.

धन हरि प्रभि पिआरै रावीआ जां हरि प्रभ भाई राम ॥
The soul-bride is ravished and enjoyed by her Beloved Lord God, when the Lord God is pleased with her.
ਅਖੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਸਾਈਆ ਜਿਉ ਬਿਲਕ ਮਸਾਈ ਰਾਮ ॥
Akhee Praem Kasaaeeaa Jio Bilak Masaaee Raam ||
अखी प्रेम कसाईआ जिउ बिलक मसाई राम ॥
My eyes are drawn to His Love, like the cat to the mouse.
ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਰਸਿ ਆਘਾਈ ਰਾਮ ॥

गुरि पूरै हरि मेलिआ हरि रसि आघाई राम ॥
The Perfect Guru has united me with the Lord; I am satisfied by the subtle essence of the Lord.

ਹਮ ਮੂਰਖ ਮੁਗਧ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
Ham Moorakh Mugadhh Milaaeiaa Har Kirapaa Dhhaaree Raam ||
हम मूरख मुगध मिलाइआ हरि किरपा धारी राम ॥
I am a fool and an idiot, but the Lord showered me with His Mercy, and united me with Himself.
ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਬਾਸਿ ਹੈ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਾਰੀ ਰਾਮ ॥

धनु धंनु गुरू साबासि है जिनि हउमै मारी राम ॥
Blessed, blessed is the most wonderful Guru, who has conquered egotism.

जिन्ह वडभागीआ वडभागु है हरि हरि उर धारी राम ॥
Very fortunate, of blessed destiny are those, who enshrine the Lord, Har, Har, in their hearts.

Abinaasee Var Suniaa Man Oupajiaa Chaaeiaa Raam ||
अबिनासी वरु सुणिआ मनि उपजिआ चाइआ राम ॥
I have heard of my Imperishable Husband Lord, and happiness fills my mind.
ਮਨਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਾਗੈ ਵਡੈ ਭਾਗੈ ਕਬ ਮਿਲੀਐ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਤੇ ॥
Man Preeth Laagai Vaddai Bhaagai Kab Mileeai Pooran Pathae ||
मनि प्रीति लागै वडै भागै कब मिलीऐ पूरन पते ॥
My mind is in love with Him; when shall I realize my great good fortune, and meet with my Perfect Husband?
ਸਹਜੇ ਸਮਾਈਐ ਗੋਵਿੰਦੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਦੇਹੁ ਸਖੀਏ ਮੋਹਿ ਮਤੇ ॥
Sehajae Samaaeeai Govindh Paaeeai Dhaehu Sakheeeae Mohi Mathae ||
सहजे समाईऐ गोविंदु पाईऐ देहु सखीए मोहि मते ॥
If only I could meet the Lord of the Universe, and be automatically absorbed into Him; tell me how, O my companions!
ਦਿਨੁ ਰੈਣਿ ਠਾਢੀ ਕਰਉ ਸੇਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਕਵਨ ਜੁਗਤੀ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
Dhin Rain Thaadtee Karo Saevaa Prabh Kavan Jugathee Paaeiaa ||
दिनु रैणि ठाढी करउ सेवा प्रभु कवन जुगती पाइआ ॥
Day and night, I stand and serve my God; how can I attain Him?

Joy has come! I have purchased the jewel of the Lord.
ਖੋਜੀ ਖੋਜਿ ਲਧਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤਨ ਪਾਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
Khojee Khoj Ladhhaa Har Santhan Paahaa Raam ||
खोजी खोजि लधा हरि संतन पाहा राम ॥
Searching, the seeker has found the Lord with the Saints.
ਮਿਲੇ ਸੰਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦਇਆ ਧਾਰੇ ਕਥਹਿ ਅਕਥ ਬੀਚਾਰੋ ॥
Milae Santh Piaarae Dhaeiaa Dhhaarae Kathhehi Akathh Beechaaro ||
मिले संत पिआरे दइआ धारे कथहि अकथ बीचारो ॥
I have met the Beloved Saints, and they have blessed me with their kindness; I contemplate the Unspoken Speech of the Lord.
ਇਕ ਚਿਤਿ ਇਕ ਮਨਿ ਧਿਆਇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਲਾਇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਪਿਆਰੋ ॥
Eik Chith Eik Man Dhhiaae Suaamee Laae Preeth Piaaro ||
इक चिति इक मनि धिआइ सुआमी लाइ प्रीति पिआरो ॥
With my consciousness centered, and my mind one-pointed, I meditate on my Lord and Master, with love and affection.
ਕਰ ਜੋੜਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਹਿ ਕਰਿ ਬਿਨੰਤੀ ਮਿਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਲਾਹਾ ॥
Kar Jorr Prabh Pehi Kar Binanthee Milai Har Jas Laahaa ||
कर जोड़ि प्रभ पहि करि बिनंती मिलै हरि जसु लाहा ॥
With my palms pressed together, I pray unto God, to bless me with the profit of the Lord's Praise.
