लाल नाम जा कै भरे भंडार ॥
His treasure is overflowing with the rubies of the Name.

सगल घटा देवै आधार ॥३॥
He gives Support to all hearts. ||3||

सति पुरखु जा को है नाउ ॥
The Name is the True Primal Being;
ਮਿਟਹਿ ਕੋਟਿ ਅਘ ਨਿਮਖ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਉ ॥
Mittehi Kott Agh Nimakh Jas Gaao ||
मिटहि कोटि अघ निमख जसु गाउ ॥
Millions of sins are washed away in an instant, singing His Praises.
ਬਾਲ ਸਖਾਈ ਭਗਤਨ ਕੋ ਮੀਤ ॥
Baal Sakhaaee Bhagathan Ko Meeth ||
बाल सखाई भगतन को मीत ॥
The Lord God is your best friend, your playmate from earliest childhood.

I trade in the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਇਸੁ ਮਨ ਕਾ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥
Naamuo Hee Eis Man Kaa Adhhaar ||
नामो ही इसु मन का अधारु ॥
The Naam is the Support of the mind.
ਨਾਮੋ ਹੀ ਚਿਤਿ ਕੀਨੀ ਓਟ ॥
Naamo Hee Chith Keenee Outt ||
नामो ही चिति कीनी ओट ॥
My consciousness takes to the Shelter of the Naam.

नामु जपत मिटहि पाप कोटि ॥१॥
Chanting the Naam, millions of sins are erased. ||1||

रासि दीई हरि एको नामु ॥
The Lord has blessed me with the wealth of the Naam, the Name of the One Lord.

नामु हमारे जीअ की रासि ॥
The Naam is the wealth of my soul.

Naamo Sangee Jath Kath Jaath ||
नामो संगी जत कत जात ॥
Wherever I go, the Naam is with me.
ਨਾਮੋ ਹੀ ਮਨਿ ਲਾਗਾ ਮੀਠਾ ॥
Naamo Hee Man Laagaa Meethaa ||
नामो ही मनि लागा मीठा ॥
The Naam is sweet to my mind.
ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਨਾਮੋ ਡੀਠਾ ॥੨॥
Jal Thhal Sabh Mehi Naamo Ddeethaa ||2||
जलि थलि सभ महि नामो डीठा ॥२॥
In the water, on the land, and everywhere, I see the Naam. ||2||
ਨਾਮੇ ਦਰਗਹ ਮੁਖ ਉਜਲੇ ॥
Naamae Dharageh Mukh Oujalae ||
नामे दरगह मुख उजले ॥
Through the Naam, one's face becomes radiant in the Court of the Lord.
ਨਾਮੇ ਸਗਲੇ ਕੁਲ ਉਧਰੇ ॥
Naamae Sagalae Kul Oudhharae ||
नामे सगले कुल उधरे ॥
Through the Naam, all one's generations are saved.
ਨਾਮਿ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਸੀਧ ॥
Naam Hamaarae Kaaraj Seedhh ||
नामि हमारे कारज सीध ॥
Through the Naam, my affairs are resolved.
ਨਾਮ ਸੰਗਿ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੂਆ ਗੀਧ ॥੩॥
Naam Sang Eihu Manooaa Geedhh ||3||
नाम संगि इहु मनूआ गीध ॥३॥
My mind is accustomed to the Naam. ||3||
ਨਾਮੇ ਹੀ ਹਮ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਭਏ ॥
Naamae Hee Ham Nirabho Bheae ||
नामे ही हम निरभउ भए ॥
Through the Naam, I have become fearless.
ਨਾਮੇ ਆਵਨ ਜਾਵਨ ਰਹੇ ॥
Naamae Aavan Jaavan Rehae ||
नामे आवन जावन रहे ॥
Through the Naam, my comings and goings have ceased.
ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਮੇਲੇ ਗੁਣਤਾਸ ॥
Gur Poorai Maelae Gunathaas ||
गुरि पूरै मेले गुणतास ॥
The Perfect Guru has united me with the Lord, the treasure of virtue.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਨਿਵਾਸੁ ॥੪॥੨॥੪॥

निमाने कउ जो देतो मानु ॥
He grants honor to the dishonored,
ਸਗਲ ਭੂਖੇ ਕਉ ਕਰਤਾ ਦਾਨੁ ॥
Sagal Bhookhae Ko Karathaa Dhaan ||
सगल भूखे कउ करता दानु ॥
And gives gifts to all the hungry;
ਗਰਭ ਘੋਰ ਮਹਿ ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰੁ ॥
Garabh Ghor Mehi Raakhanehaar ||
गरभ घोर महि राखनहारु ॥
He protects those in the terrible womb.
ਤਿਸੁ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕਉ ਸਦਾ ਨਮਸਕਾਰੁ ॥੧॥
This Thaakur Ko Sadhaa Namasakaar ||1||
तिसु ठाकुर कउ सदा नमसकारु ॥१॥
So humbly bow forever to that Lord and Master. ||1||
ਐਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਧਿਆਇ ॥
Aiso Prabh Man Maahi Dhhiaae ||
ऐसो प्रभु मन माहि धिआइ ॥
Meditate on such a God in your mind.
ਘਟਿ ਅਵਘਟਿ ਜਤ ਕਤਹਿ ਸਹਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

घटि अवघटि जत कतहि सहाइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
He shall be your help and support everywhere, in good times and bad. ||1||Pause||
ਰੰਕੁ ਰਾਉ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਏਕ ਸਮਾਨਿ ॥
Rank Raao Jaa Kai Eaek Samaan ||
रंकु राउ जा कै एक समानि ॥
The beggar and the king are all the same to Him.
ਕੀਟ ਹਸਤਿ ਸਗਲ ਪੂਰਾਨ ॥
Keett Hasath Sagal Pooraan ||
कीट हसति सगल पूरान ॥
He sustains and fulfills both the ant and the elephant.
ਬੀਓ ਪੂਛਿ ਨ ਮਸਲਤਿ ਧਰੈ ॥
Beeou Pooshh N Masalath Dhharai ||
बीओ पूछि न मसलति धरै ॥
He does not consult or seek anyone's advice.
ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰੈ ਸੁ ਆਪਹਿ ਕਰੈ ॥੨॥
Jo Kishh Karai S Aapehi Karai ||2||
जो किछु करै सु आपहि करै ॥२॥
Whatever He does, He does Himself. ||2||
ਜਾ ਕਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਜਾਨਸਿ ਕੋਇ ॥
Jaa Kaa Anth N Jaanas Koe ||
जा का अंतु न जानसि कोइ ॥
No one knows His limit.
ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਸੋਇ ॥
Aapae Aap Niranjan Soe ||
आपे आपि निरंजनु सोइ ॥
He Himself is the Immaculate Lord.
ਆਪਿ ਅਕਾਰੁ ਆਪਿ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ॥
Aap Akaar Aap Nirankaar ||
आपि अकारु आपि निरंकारु ॥
He Himself is formed, and He Himself is formless.
ਘਟ ਘਟ ਘਟਿ ਸਭ ਘਟ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥੩॥
Ghatt Ghatt Ghatt Sabh Ghatt Aadhhaar ||3||
घट घट घटि सभ घट आधारु ॥३॥
In the heart, in each and every heart, He is the Support of all hearts. ||3||

नाम रंगि भगत भए लाल ॥
Through the Love of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the devotees become His Beloveds.
ਜਸੁ ਕਰਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥

जसु करते संत सदा निहाल ॥
Singing the Praises of the Creator, the Saints are forever in bliss.
ਨਾਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਜਨ ਰਹੇ ਅਘਾਇ ॥

नाम रंगि जन रहे अघाइ ॥
Through the Love of the Naam, the Lord's humble servants remain satisfied.

जा कै संगि हरि हरि सिमरनु ॥
Associating with them, one meditates in remembrance on the Lord, Har, Har.
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਹੋਹਿ ਨਾਸ ॥
Jaa Kai Sang Kilabikh Hohi Naas ||
जा कै संगि किलबिख होहि नास ॥
Associating with them, all the sins are erased.
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਪਰਗਾਸ ॥੧॥
Jaa Kai Sang Ridhai Paragaas ||1||
जा कै संगि रिदै परगास ॥१॥
Associating with them, the heart is illumined. ||1||
ਸੇ ਸੰਤਨ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੀਤ ॥
Sae Santhan Har Kae Maerae Meeth ||
से संतन हरि के मेरे मीत ॥
Those Saints of the Lord are my friends.
ਕੇਵਲ ਨਾਮੁ ਗਾਈਐ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਨੀਤ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

केवल नामु गाईऐ जा कै नीत ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

जा कै मंत्रि हरि हरि मनि वसै ॥
By their mantra, the Lord, Har, Har, dwells in the mind.
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਉਪਦੇਸਿ ਭਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਨਸੈ ॥
Jaa Kai Oupadhaes Bharam Bho Nasai ||
जा कै उपदेसि भरमु भउ नसै ॥
By their teachings, doubt and fear are dispelled.
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸਾਰ ॥
Jaa Kai Keerath Niramal Saar ||
जा कै कीरति निरमल सार ॥
By their kirtan, they become immaculate and sublime.
ਜਾ ਕੀ ਰੇਨੁ ਬਾਂਛੈ ਸੰਸਾਰ ॥੨॥
Jaa Kee Raen Baanshhai Sansaar ||2||
जा की रेनु बांछै संसार ॥२॥
The world longs for the dust of their feet. ||2||
ਕੋਟਿ ਪਤਿਤ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਉਧਾਰ ॥
Kott Pathith Jaa Kai Sang Oudhhaar ||
कोटि पतित जा कै संगि उधार ॥
Millions of sinners are saved by associating with them.
ਏਕੁ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਨਾਮ ਅਧਾਰ ॥
Eaek Nirankaar Jaa Kai Naam Adhhaar ||
एकु निरंकारु जा कै नाम अधार ॥
They have the Support of the Name of the One Formless Lord.
ਸਰਬ ਜੀਆਂ ਕਾ ਜਾਨੈ ਭੇਉ ॥
Sarab Jeeaaan Kaa Jaanai Bhaeo ||
सरब जीआं का जानै भेउ ॥
He knows the secrets of all beings;
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਦੇਉ ॥੩॥
Kirapaa Nidhhaan Niranjan Dhaeo ||3||
क्रिपा निधान निरंजन देउ ॥३॥
He is the treasure of mercy, the divine immaculate Lord. ||3||
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਜਬ ਭਏ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ॥

पारब्रहम जब भए क्रिपाल ॥
When the Supreme Lord God becomes merciful,
ਤਬ ਭੇਟੇ ਗੁਰ ਸਾਧ ਦਇਆਲ ॥
Thab Bhaettae Gur Saadhh Dhaeiaal ||
तब भेटे गुर साध दइआल ॥
