नाम बिना सभ दुनीआ छारु ॥१॥
Without the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the whole world is just ashes. ||1||

Meditate day and night on the Cherisher of the meek and humble. ||3||

Sarab Kaliaan Charan Prabh Saevaa ||
सरब कलिआण चरण प्रभ सेवा ॥
Serving at God's Feet, all comforts are obtained.
ਧੂਰਿ ਬਾਛਹਿ ਸਭਿ ਸੁਰਿ ਨਰ ਦੇਵਾ ॥੩॥
Dhhoor Baashhehi Sabh Sur Nar Dhaevaa ||3||
धूरि बाछहि सभि सुरि नर देवा ॥३॥
All the angels and demi-gods long for the dust of the feet of such beings. ||3||

God hugs His slave close in His Embrace.
ਨਿੰਦਕ ਕਉ ਅਗਨਿ ਮਹਿ ਪਾਵੈ ॥੧॥
Nindhak Ko Agan Mehi Paavai ||1||
निंदक कउ अगनि महि पावै ॥१॥
He throws the slanderer into the fire. ||1||
ਪਾਪੀ ਤੇ ਰਾਖੇ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ॥
Paapee Thae Raakhae Naaraaein ||
पापी ते राखे नाराइण ॥
The Lord saves His servants from the sinners.
ਪਾਪੀ ਕੀ ਗਤਿ ਕਤਹੂ ਨਾਹੀ ਪਾਪੀ ਪਚਿਆ ਆਪ ਕਮਾਇਣ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

पापी की गति कतहू नाही पापी पचिआ आप कमाइण ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
No one can save the sinner. The sinner is destroyed by his own actions. ||1||Pause||

The slanderer loves something else. ||2||

पारब्रहमि अपणा बिरदु प्रगटाइआ ॥
The Supreme Lord God has revealed His Innate Nature.

दोखी अपणा कीता पाइआ ॥३॥
The evil-doer obtains the fruits of his own actions. ||3||

God does not come or go; He is All-pervading and permeating.

अवर उपाव सगल मै देखे जो चितवीऐ तितु बिगरसि काजु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

ठाकुरु छोडि दासी कउ सिमरहि मनमुख अंध अगिआना ॥
The blind, ignorant, self-willed manmukhs forsake their Lord and Master, and dwell on His slave Maya.

Har Kee Bhagath Karehi Thin Nindhehi Nigurae Pasoo Samaanaa ||2||
हरि की भगति करहि तिन निंदहि निगुरे पसू समाना ॥२॥
They slander those who worship their Lord; they are like beasts, without a Guru. ||2||
ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਤਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸਭੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾ ਸਾਕਤ ਕਹਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ॥

जीउ पिंडु तनु धनु सभु प्रभ का साकत कहते मेरा ॥
Soul, life, body and wealth all belong to God, but the faithless cynics claim that they own them.
