साधसंगि जनमु मरणु मिटावै ॥
To the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, shall be rid of the cycle of birth and death

ਆਸ ਮਨੋਰਥੁ ਪੂਰਨੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਭੇਟਤ ਗੁਰ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
Aas Manorathh Pooran Hovai Bhaettath Gur Dharasaaeiaa Jeeo ||2||
आस मनोरथु पूरनु होवै भेटत गुर दरसाइआ जीउ ॥२॥
His hopes and desires are fulfilled, when he gains the Blessed Vision of the Guru's Darshan. ||2||
ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਕਿਛੁ ਮਿਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਨੀ ॥
Agam Agochar Kishh Mith Nehee Jaanee ||
अगम अगोचर किछु मिति नही जानी ॥
The limits of the Inaccessible and Unfathomable Lord cannot be known.
ਸਾਧਿਕ ਸਿਧ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਗਿਆਨੀ ॥
Saadhhik Sidhh Dhhiaavehi Giaanee ||
साधिक सिध धिआवहि गिआनी ॥
The seekers, the Siddhas, those beings of miraculous spiritual powers, and the spiritual teachers, all meditate on Him.
ਖੁਦੀ ਮਿਟੀ ਚੂਕਾ ਭੋਲਾਵਾ ਗੁਰਿ ਮਨ ਹੀ ਮਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਇਆ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
Khudhee Mittee Chookaa Bholaavaa Gur Man Hee Mehi Pragattaaeiaa Jeeo ||3||
खुदी मिटी चूका भोलावा गुरि मन ही महि प्रगटाइआ जीउ ॥३॥
Thus, their egos are erased, and their doubts are dispelled. The Guru has enlightened their minds. ||3||
ਅਨਦ ਮੰਗਲ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਨਿਧਾਨਾ ॥
Anadh Mangal Kaliaan Nidhhaanaa ||
अनद मंगल कलिआण निधाना ॥
Which is the Treasure of bliss, joy, salvation,
ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਖਾਨਾ ॥
Sookh Sehaj Har Naam Vakhaanaa ||
सूख सहज हरि नामु वखाना ॥
Intuitive peace and poise; I chant the Name of that Lord.
ਹੋਇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਪਨਾ ਨਾਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਘਰ ਮਹਿ ਆਇਆ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੨੫॥੩੨॥
Hoe Kirapaal Suaamee Apanaa Naao Naanak Ghar Mehi Aaeiaa Jeeo ||4||25||32||
होइ क्रिपालु सुआमी अपना नाउ नानक घर महि आइआ जीउ ॥४॥२५॥३२॥
When my Lord and Master blessed me with His Mercy, O Nanak, then His Name entered the home of my mind. ||4||25||32||

सुणि सुणि जीवा सोइ तुमारी ॥
Hearing of You, I live.
ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਅਤਿ ਭਾਰੀ ॥
Thoon Preetham Thaakur Ath Bhaaree ||
तूं प्रीतमु ठाकुरु अति भारी ॥
You are my Beloved, my Lord and Master, Utterly Great.
ਤੁਮਰੇ ਕਰਤਬ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਹੁ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਓਟ ਗਪਾਲਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥

तुमरे करतब तुम ही जाणहु तुमरी ओट गोपाला जीउ ॥१॥
You alone know Your Ways; I grasp Your Support, Lord of the World. ||1||
ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਤ ਮਨੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਹੋਵੈ ॥
Gun Gaavath Man Hariaa Hovai ||
गुण गावत मनु हरिआ होवै ॥
Singing Your Glorious Praises, my mind is rejuvenated.
ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣਤ ਮਲੁ ਸਗਲੀ ਖੋਵੈ ॥
Kathhaa Sunath Mal Sagalee Khovai ||
कथा सुणत मलु सगली खोवै ॥
Hearing Your Sermon, all filth is removed.
ਭੇਟਤ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਸਦਾ ਜਪਉ ਦਇਆਲਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
Bhaettath Sang Saadhh Santhan Kai Sadhaa Japo Dhaeiaalaa Jeeo ||2||
भेटत संगि साध संतन कै सदा जपउ दइआला जीउ ॥२॥
Joining the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, I meditate forever on the Merciful Lord. ||2||
ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਮਾਰਉ ॥
Prabh Apunaa Saas Saas Samaaro ||
प्रभु अपुना सासि सासि समारउ ॥
I dwell on my God with each and every breath.
ਇਹ ਮਤਿ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਮਨਿ ਧਾਰਉ ॥
Eih Math Gur Prasaadh Man Dhhaaro ||
इह मति गुर प्रसादि मनि धारउ ॥
This understanding has been implanted within my mind, by Guru's Grace
ਤੁਮਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਤੇ ਹੋਇ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸਾ ਸਰਬ ਮਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
Thumaree Kirapaa Thae Hoe Pragaasaa Sarab Maeiaa Prathipaalaa Jeeo ||3||
तुमरी क्रिपा ते होइ प्रगासा सरब मइआ प्रतिपाला जीउ ॥३॥
By Your Grace, the Divine Light has dawned. The Merciful Lord cherishes everyone. ||3||
ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਈ ॥
Sath Sath Sath Prabh Soee ||
सति सति सति प्रभु सोई ॥
True, True, True is that God.
ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਸਦ ਆਪੇ ਹੋਈ ॥
Sadhaa Sadhaa Sadh Aapae Hoee ||
सदा सदा सद आपे होई ॥
Forever, forever and ever, He Himself is.
ਚਲਿਤ ਤੁਮਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦੇਖਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਭਏ ਨਿਹਾਲਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੨੬॥੩੩॥
Chalith Thumaarae Pragatt Piaarae Dhaekh Naanak Bheae Nihaalaa Jeeo ||4||26||33||
चलित तुमारे प्रगट पिआरे देखि नानक भए निहाला जीउ ॥४॥२६॥३३॥
Your Playful Ways are revealed, O my Beloved. Beholding them, Nanak is enraptured. ||4||26||33||

ਹੁਕਮੀ ਵਰਸਣ ਲਾਗੇ ਮੇਹਾ ॥
Hukamee Varasan Laagae Maehaa ||
हुकमी वरसण लागे मेहा ॥
By His Command, the rain begins to fall.
ਸਾਜਨ ਸੰਤ ਮਿਲਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪੇਹਾ ॥
Saajan Santh Mil Naam Japaehaa ||
साजन संत मिलि नामु जपेहा ॥
The Saints and friends have met to chant the Naam.
ਸੀਤਲ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਸਹਜ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਠਾਢਿ ਪਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪੇ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
Seethal Saanth Sehaj Sukh Paaeiaa Thaadt Paaee Prabh Aapae Jeeo ||1||
सीतल सांति सहज सुखु पाइआ ठाढि पाई प्रभि आपे जीउ ॥१॥
Serene tranquility and peaceful ease have come; God Himself has brought a deep and profound peace. ||1||
ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਬਹੁਤੋ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਉਪਾਇਆ ॥
Sabh Kishh Bahutho Bahuth Oupaaeiaa ||
सभु किछु बहुतो बहुतु उपाइआ ॥
God has produced everything in great abundance.
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਸਗਲ ਰਜਾਇਆ ॥
Kar Kirapaa Prabh Sagal Rajaaeiaa ||
करि किरपा प्रभि सगल रजाइआ ॥
Granting His Grace, God has satisfied all.
ਦਾਤਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਤਾਰਾ ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਭਿ ਧ੍ਰਾਪੇ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
Dhaath Karahu Maerae Dhaathaaraa Jeea Janth Sabh Dhhraapae Jeeo ||2||
दाति करहु मेरे दातारा जीअ जंत सभि ध्रापे जीउ ॥२॥
Bless us with Your Gifts, O my Great Giver. All beings and creatures are satisfied. ||2||
ਸਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸਚੀ ਨਾਈ ॥
Sachaa Saahib Sachee Naaee ||
सचा साहिबु सची नाई ॥
True is the Master, and True is His Name.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਈ ॥
Gur Parasaadh This Sadhaa Dhhiaaee ||
गुर परसादि तिसु सदा धिआई ॥
By Guru's Grace, I meditate forever on Him.
ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਭੈ ਕਾਟੇ ਮੋਹਾ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਸੋਗ ਸੰਤਾਪੇ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
Janam Maran Bhai Kaattae Mohaa Binasae Sog Santhaapae Jeeo ||3||
जनम मरण भै काटे मोहा बिनसे सोग संतापे जीउ ॥३॥
The fear of birth and death has been dispelled; emotional attachment, sorrow and suffering have been erased. ||3||
ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਾਲਾਹੇ ॥
Saas Saas Naanak Saalaahae ||
सासि सासि नानकु सालाहे ॥
With each and every breath, Nanak praises the Lord.
ਸਿਮਰਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਾਟੇ ਸਭਿ ਫਾਹੇ ॥
Simarath Naam Kaattae Sabh Faahae ||
सिमरत नामु काटे सभि फाहे ॥
Meditating in remembrance on the Name, all bonds are cut away.
ਪੂਰਨ ਆਸ ਕਰੀ ਖਿਨ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਜਾਪੇ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੨੭॥੩੪॥
Pooran Aas Karee Khin Bheethar Har Har Har Gun Jaapae Jeeo ||4||27||34||
पूरन आस करी खिन भीतरि हरि हरि हरि गुण जापे जीउ ॥४॥२७॥३४॥
One's hopes are fulfilled in an instant, chanting the Glorious Praises of the Lord, Har, Har, Har. ||4||27||34||

ਮਿਲਿ ਗਾਵਹ ਗੁਣ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰੇ ॥
Mil Gaaveh Gun Agam Apaarae ||
मिलि गावह गुण अगम अपारे ॥
Let us join together and sing the Glorious Praises of the Inaccessible and Infinite Lord.
ਗਾਵਤ ਸੁਣਤ ਸਭੇ ਹੀ ਮੁਕਤੇ ਸੋ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਮ ਕੀਏ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
Gaavath Sunath Sabhae Hee Mukathae So Dhhiaaeeai Jin Ham Keeeae Jeeo ||1||
गावत सुणत सभे ही मुकते सो धिआईऐ जिनि हम कीए जीउ ॥१॥
Those who sing and hear these praises are liberated, so let us meditate on the One who created us. ||1||
ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਜਾਵਹਿ ॥
Janam Janam Kae Kilabikh Jaavehi ||
जनम जनम के किलबिख जावहि ॥
The sins of countless incarnations depart,
ਮਨਿ ਚਿੰਦੇ ਸੇਈ ਫਲ ਪਾਵਹਿ ॥
Man Chindhae Saeee Fal Paavehi ||
मनि चिंदे सेई फल पावहि ॥
And we receive the fruits of the mind's desires.
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸੋ ਸਚੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਰਿਜਕੁ ਸਭਸੁ ਕਉ ਦੀਏ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
Simar Saahib So Sach Suaamee Rijak Sabhas Ko Dheeeae Jeeo ||2||
सिमरि साहिबु सो सचु सुआमी रिजकु सभसु कउ दीए जीउ ॥२॥
So meditate on that Lord, our True Lord and Master, who gives sustenance to all. ||2||
ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਈਐ ॥
Naam Japath Sarab Sukh Paaeeai ||
नामु जपत सरब सुखु पाईऐ ॥
Chanting the Naam, all pleasures are obtained.
ਸਭੁ ਭਉ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਈਐ ॥
Sabh Bho Binasai Har Har Dhhiaaeeai ||
सभु भउ बिनसै हरि हरि धिआईऐ ॥
All fears are erased, meditating on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਜਿਨਿ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਸੋ ਪਾਰਗਿਰਾਮੀ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਗਲੇ ਥੀਏ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
Jin Saeviaa So Paaragiraamee Kaaraj Sagalae Thheeeae Jeeo ||3||
जिनि सेविआ सो पारगिरामी कारज सगले थीए जीउ ॥३॥
One who serves the Lord swims across to the other side, and all his affairs are resolved. ||3||
ਆਇ ਪਇਆ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥
Aae Paeiaa Thaeree Saranaaee ||
आइ पइआ तेरी सरणाई ॥
I have come to Your Sanctuary;
ਜਿਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਉ ਲੈਹਿ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥
Jio Bhaavai Thio Laihi Milaaee ||
जिउ भावै तिउ लैहि मिलाई ॥
