ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜਾਤਾ ॥
Dhhan Dhhan Har Jan Jin Har Prabh Jaathaa ||
धनु धनु हरि जन जिनि हरि प्रभु जाता ॥
Blessed, blessed are the humble servants of the Lord, who know the Lord God.
ਜਾਇ ਪੁਛਾ ਜਨ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਬਾਤਾ ॥
Jaae Pushhaa Jan Har Kee Baathaa ||
जाइ पुछा जन हरि की बाता ॥
I go and ask those humble servants about the Mysteries of the Lord.
ਪਾਵ ਮਲੋਵਾ ਮਲਿ ਮਲਿ ਧੋਵਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਪੀਚੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
Paav Malovaa Mal Mal Dhhovaa Mil Har Jan Har Ras Peechai Jeeo ||2||
पाव मलोवा मलि मलि धोवा मिलि हरि जन हरि रसु पीचै जीउ ॥२॥
I wash and massage their feet; joining with the humble servants of the Lord, I drink in the Sublime Essence of the Lord. ||2||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਦਾਤੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਦਿੜਾਇਆ ॥
Sathigur Dhaathai Naam Dhirraaeiaa ||
सतिगुर दातै नामु दिड़ाइआ ॥
The True Guru, the Giver, has implanted the Naam, the Name of the Lord, within me.
ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਗੁਰ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
Vaddabhaagee Gur Dharasan Paaeiaa ||
वडभागी गुर दरसनु पाइआ ॥
By great good fortune, I have obtained the Blessed Vision of the Guru's Darshan.
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸੁ ਸਚੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਬੋਲੀ ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਲੀਚੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
Anmrith Ras Sach Anmrith Bolee Gur Poorai Anmrith Leechai Jeeo ||3||
अम्रित रसु सचु अम्रितु बोली गुरि पूरै अम्रितु लीचै जीउ ॥३॥
The True Essence is Ambrosial Nectar; through the Ambrosial Words of the Perfect Guru, this Amrit is obtained. ||3||
ਹਰਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਸਤ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਮਿਲਾਈਐ ॥
Har Sathasangath Sath Purakh Milaaeeai ||
हरि सतसंगति सत पुरखु मिलाईऐ ॥
O Lord, lead me to the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, and the true beings.
ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ॥
Mil Sathasangath Har Naam Dhhiaaeeai ||
मिलि सतसंगति हरि नामु धिआईऐ ॥
Joining the Sat Sangat, I meditate on the Lord's Name.
ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣੀ ਮੁਖਿ ਬੋਲੀ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਪਰੀਚੈ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੬॥
Naanak Har Kathhaa Sunee Mukh Bolee Guramath Har Naam Pareechai Jeeo ||4||6||
नानक हरि कथा सुणी मुखि बोली गुरमति हरि नामि परीचै जीउ ॥४॥६॥
O Nanak, I listen and chant the Lord's Sermon; through the Guru's Teachings, I am fulfilled by the Name of the Lord. ||4||6||

ਆਵਹੁ ਭੈਣੇ ਤੁਸੀ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਪਿਆਰੀਆ ॥
Aavahu Bhainae Thusee Milahu Piaareeaa ||
आवहु भैणे तुसी मिलहु पिआरीआ ॥
Come, dear sisters-let us join together.
ਜੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਦਸੇ ਤਿਸ ਕੈ ਹਉ ਵਾਰੀਆ ॥
Jo Maeraa Preetham Dhasae This Kai Ho Vaareeaa ||
जो मेरा प्रीतमु दसे तिस कै हउ वारीआ ॥
I am a sacrifice to the one who tells me of my Beloved.
ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਲਧਾ ਹਰਿ ਸਜਣੁ ਹਉ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਘੁਮਾਈਆ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
Mil Sathasangath Ladhhaa Har Sajan Ho Sathigur Vittahu Ghumaaeeaa Jeeo ||1||
मिलि सतसंगति लधा हरि सजणु हउ सतिगुर विटहु घुमाईआ जीउ ॥१॥
Joining the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, I have found the Lord, my Best Friend. I am a sacrifice to the True Guru. ||1||
ਜਹ ਜਹ ਦੇਖਾ ਤਹ ਤਹ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥
Jeh Jeh Dhaekhaa Theh Theh Suaamee ||
जह जह देखा तह तह सुआमी ॥
Wherever I look, there I see my Lord and Master.
ਤੂ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਵਿਆ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥
Thoo Ghatt Ghatt Raviaa Antharajaamee ||
तू घटि घटि रविआ अंतरजामी ॥
You are permeating each and every heart, O Lord, Inner-knower, Searcher of Hearts.
ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਲਿ ਦਿਖਾਲਿਆ ਹਉ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਸਦ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
Gur Poorai Har Naal Dhikhaaliaa Ho Sathigur Vittahu Sadh Vaariaa Jeeo ||2||
गुरि पूरै हरि नालि दिखालिआ हउ सतिगुर विटहु सद वारिआ जीउ ॥२॥
The Perfect Guru has shown me that the Lord is always with me. I am forever a sacrifice to the True Guru. ||2||
ਏਕੋ ਪਵਣੁ ਮਾਟੀ ਸਭ ਏਕਾ ਸਭ ਏਕਾ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਬਾਈਆ ॥
Eaeko Pavan Maattee Sabh Eaekaa Sabh Eaekaa Joth Sabaaeeaa ||
एको पवणु माटी सभ एका सभ एका जोति सबाईआ ॥
There is only one breath; all are made of the same clay; the light within all is the same.
ਸਭ ਇਕਾ ਜੋਤਿ ਵਰਤੈ ਭਿਨਿ ਭਿਨਿ ਨ ਰਲਈ ਕਿਸੈ ਦੀ ਰਲਾਈਆ ॥
Sabh Eikaa Joth Varathai Bhin Bhin N Ralee Kisai Dhee Ralaaeeaa ||
सभ इका जोति वरतै भिनि भिनि न रलई किसै दी रलाईआ ॥
The One Light pervades all the many and various beings. This Light intermingles with them, but it is not diluted or obscured.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਇਕੁ ਨਦਰੀ ਆਇਆ ਹਉ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਵਤਾਇਆ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
Gur Parasaadhee Eik Nadharee Aaeiaa Ho Sathigur Vittahu Vathaaeiaa Jeeo ||3||
गुर परसादी इकु नदरी आइआ हउ सतिगुर विटहु वताइआ जीउ ॥३॥
By Guru's Grace, I have come to see the One. I am a sacrifice to the True Guru. ||3||
ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਬੋਲੈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ॥
Jan Naanak Bolai Anmrith Baanee ||
जनु नानकु बोलै अम्रित बाणी ॥
Servant Nanak speaks the Ambrosial Bani of the Word.
ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾਂ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਭਾਣੀ ॥
Gurasikhaan Kai Man Piaaree Bhaanee ||
गुरसिखां कै मनि पिआरी भाणी ॥
It is dear and pleasing to the minds of the GurSikhs.
ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਕਰੇ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰੀਆ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੭॥
Oupadhaes Karae Gur Sathigur Pooraa Gur Sathigur Paroupakaareeaa Jeeo ||4||7||
उपदेसु करे गुरु सतिगुरु पूरा गुरु सतिगुरु परउपकारीआ जीउ ॥४॥७॥
The Guru, the Perfect True Guru, shares the Teachings. The Guru, the True Guru, is Generous to all. ||4||7||

ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਲੋਚੈ ਗੁਰ ਦਰਸਨ ਤਾਈ ॥

मेरा मनु लोचै गुर दरसन ताई ॥
My mind longs for the Blessed Vision of the Guru's Darshan.
ਬਿਲਪ ਕਰੇ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕ ਕੀ ਨਿਆਈ ॥
Bilap Karae Chaathrik Kee Niaaee ||
बिलप करे चात्रिक की निआई ॥
It cries out like the thirsty song-bird.
ਤ੍ਰਿਖਾ ਨ ਉਤਰੈ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਦਰਸਨ ਸੰਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
Thrikhaa N Outharai Saanth N Aavai Bin Dharasan Santh Piaarae Jeeo ||1||
त्रिखा न उतरै सांति न आवै बिनु दरसन संत पिआरे जीउ ॥१॥
My thirst is not quenched, and I can find no peace, without the Blessed Vision of the Beloved Saint. ||1||
ਹਉ ਘੋਲੀ ਜੀਉ ਘੋਲਿ ਘੁਮਾਈ ਗੁਰ ਦਰਸਨ ਸੰਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

हउ घोली जीउ घोलि घुमाई गुर दरसन संत पिआरे जीउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
I am a sacrifice, my soul is a sacrifice, to the Blessed Vision of the Beloved Saint Guru. ||1||Pause||
ਤੇਰਾ ਮੁਖੁ ਸੁਹਾਵਾ ਜੀਉ ਸਹਜ ਧੁਨਿ ਬਾਣੀ ॥
Thaeraa Mukh Suhaavaa Jeeo Sehaj Dhhun Baanee ||
तेरा मुखु सुहावा जीउ सहज धुनि बाणी ॥
Your Face is so Beautiful, and the Sound of Your Words imparts intuitive wisdom.
ਚਿਰੁ ਹੋਆ ਦੇਖੇ ਸਾਰਿੰਗਪਾਣੀ ॥
Chir Hoaa Dhaekhae Saaringapaanee ||
चिरु होआ देखे सारिंगपाणी ॥
It is so long since this rainbird has had even a glimpse of water.
ਧੰਨੁ ਸੁ ਦੇਸੁ ਜਹਾ ਤੂੰ ਵਸਿਆ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਜਣ ਮੀਤ ਮੁਰਾਰੇ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
Dhhann S Dhaes Jehaa Thoon Vasiaa Maerae Sajan Meeth Muraarae Jeeo ||2||
धंनु सु देसु जहा तूं वसिआ मेरे सजण मीत मुरारे जीउ ॥२॥
Blessed is that land where You dwell, O my Friend and Intimate Divine Guru. ||2||

इक घड़ी न मिलते ता कलिजुगु होता ॥
When I could not be with You for just one moment, the Dark Age of Kali Yuga dawned for me.
ਹੁਣਿ ਕਦਿ ਮਿਲੀਐ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਗਵੰਤਾ ॥
