ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਭੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਗਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਵਸਿਆ ਮਨਿ ਆਇ ॥
Mil Sathigur Sabh Dhukh Gaeiaa Har Sukh Vasiaa Man Aae ||
मिलि सतिगुर सभु दुखु गइआ हरि सुखु वसिआ मनि आइ ॥
Meeting the True Guru, all my sufferings have ended, and the Peace of the Lord has come to dwell within my mind.
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੀਆ ਏਕਸੁ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥
Anthar Joth Pragaaseeaa Eaekas Sio Liv Laae ||
अंतरि जोति प्रगासीआ एकसु सिउ लिव लाइ ॥
The Divine Light illuminates my inner being, and I am lovingly absorbed in the One.
ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਮੁਖੁ ਊਜਲਾ ਪੂਰਬਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਪਾਇ ॥
Mil Saadhhoo Mukh Oojalaa Poorab Likhiaa Paae ||
मिलि साधू मुखु ऊजला पूरबि लिखिआ पाइ ॥
Meeting with the Holy Saint, my face is radiant; I have realized my pre-ordained destiny.
ਗੁਣ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਨਿਤ ਗਾਵਣੇ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸਾਚੈ ਨਾਇ ॥੧॥
Gun Govindh Nith Gaavanae Niramal Saachai Naae ||1||
गुण गोविंद नित गावणे निरमल साचै नाइ ॥१॥
I constantly sing the Glories of the Lord of the Universe. Through the True Name, I have become spotlessly pure. ||1||
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Maerae Man Gur Sabadhee Sukh Hoe ||
मेरे मन गुर सबदी सुखु होइ ॥
O my mind, you shall find peace through the Word of the Guru's Shabad.
ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੀ ਚਾਕਰੀ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਜਾਇ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Gur Poorae Kee Chaakaree Birathhaa Jaae N Koe ||1|| Rehaao ||
गुर पूरे की चाकरी बिरथा जाइ न कोइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Working for the Perfect Guru, no one goes away empty-handed. ||1||Pause||
ਮਨ ਕੀਆ ਇਛਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆ ਪਾਇਆ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥
Man Keeaa Eishhaan Pooreeaa Paaeiaa Naam Nidhhaan ||
मन कीआ इछां पूरीआ पाइआ नामु निधानु ॥
The desires of the mind are fulfilled, when the Treasure of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, is obtained.
ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਸਦਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਰਣੈਹਾਰੁ ਪਛਾਨੁ ॥
Antharajaamee Sadhaa Sang Karanaihaar Pashhaan ||
अंतरजामी सदा संगि करणैहारु पछानु ॥
The Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, is always with you; recognize Him as the Creator.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਮੁਖੁ ਊਜਲਾ ਜਪਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦਾਨੁ ਇਸਨਾਨੁ ॥
Gur Parasaadhee Mukh Oojalaa Jap Naam Dhaan Eisanaan ||
गुर परसादी मुखु ऊजला जपि नामु दानु इसनानु ॥
By Guru's Grace your face shall be radiant. Chanting the Naam you shall receive the benefits of giving charity and taking cleansing baths.
ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਲੋਭੁ ਬਿਨਸਿਆ ਤਜਿਆ ਸਭੁ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ॥੨॥
Kaam Krodhh Lobh Binasiaa Thajiaa Sabh Abhimaan ||2||
कामु क्रोधु लोभु बिनसिआ तजिआ सभु अभिमानु ॥२॥
Sexual desire, anger and greed are eliminated, and all egotistical pride is abandoned. ||2||
ਪਾਇਆ ਲਾਹਾ ਲਾਭੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਏ ਕਾਮ ॥
Paaeiaa Laahaa Laabh Naam Pooran Hoeae Kaam ||
पाइआ लाहा लाभु नामु पूरन होए काम ॥
The Profit of the Naam is obtained, and all affairs are brought to fruition.
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਮੇਲਿਆ ਦੀਆ ਅਪਣਾ ਨਾਮੁ ॥
Kar Kirapaa Prabh Maeliaa Dheeaa Apanaa Naam ||
करि किरपा प्रभि मेलिआ दीआ अपणा नामु ॥
In His Mercy, God unites us with Himself, and He blesses us with the Naam.
ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣਾ ਰਹਿ ਗਇਆ ਆਪਿ ਹੋਆ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨੁ ॥
Aavan Jaanaa Rehi Gaeiaa Aap Hoaa Miharavaan ||
आवण जाणा रहि गइआ आपि होआ मिहरवानु ॥
My comings and goings in reincarnation have come to an end; He Himself has bestowed His Mercy.
ਸਚੁ ਮਹਲੁ ਘਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਪਛਾਨੁ ॥੩॥
Sach Mehal Ghar Paaeiaa Gur Kaa Sabadh Pashhaan ||3||
सचु महलु घरु पाइआ गुर का सबदु पछानु ॥३॥
I have obtained my home in the True Mansion of His Presence, realizing the Word of the Guru's Shabad. ||3||
ਭਗਤ ਜਨਾ ਕਉ ਰਾਖਦਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰਿ ॥
Bhagath Janaa Ko Raakhadhaa Aapanee Kirapaa Dhhaar ||
भगत जना कउ राखदा आपणी किरपा धारि ॥
His humble devotees are protected and saved; He Himself showers His Blessings upon us.
ਹਲਤਿ ਪਲਤਿ ਮੁਖ ਊਜਲੇ ਸਾਚੇ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਸਾਰਿ ॥
Halath Palath Mukh Oojalae Saachae Kae Gun Saar ||
हलति पलति मुख ऊजले साचे के गुण सारि ॥
In this world and in the world hereafter, radiant are the faces of those who cherish and enshrine the Glories of the True Lord.
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਗੁਣ ਸਾਰਦੇ ਰਤੇ ਰੰਗਿ ਅਪਾਰ ॥
Aath Pehar Gun Saaradhae Rathae Rang Apaar ||
आठ पहर गुण सारदे रते रंगि अपार ॥
Twenty-four hours a day, they lovingly dwell upon His Glories; they are imbued with His Infinite Love.
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰੋ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ॥੪॥੧੧॥੮੧॥
Paarabreham Sukh Saagaro Naanak Sadh Balihaar ||4||11||81||
पारब्रहमु सुख सागरो नानक सद बलिहार ॥४॥११॥८१॥
Nanak is forever a sacrifice to the Supreme Lord God, the Ocean of Peace. ||4||11||81||

ਪੂਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਜੇ ਮਿਲੈ ਪਾਈਐ ਸਬਦੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥
Pooraa Sathigur Jae Milai Paaeeai Sabadh Nidhhaan ||
पूरा सतिगुरु जे मिलै पाईऐ सबदु निधानु ॥
If we meet the Perfect True Guru, we obtain the Treasure of the Shabad.
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਪੀਐ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ॥
Kar Kirapaa Prabh Aapanee Japeeai Anmrith Naam ||
करि किरपा प्रभ आपणी जपीऐ अम्रित नामु ॥
Please grant Your Grace, God, that we may meditate on Your Ambrosial Naam.
ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖੁ ਕਾਟੀਐ ਲਾਗੈ ਸਹਜਿ ਧਿਆਨੁ ॥੧॥
Janam Maran Dhukh Kaatteeai Laagai Sehaj Dhhiaan ||1||
जनम मरण दुखु काटीऐ लागै सहजि धिआनु ॥१॥
The pains of birth and death are taken away; we are intuitively centered on His Meditation. ||1||
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਪਾਇ ॥
Maerae Man Prabh Saranaaee Paae ||
मेरे मन प्रभ सरणाई पाइ ॥
O my mind, seek the Sanctuary of God.
ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੋ ਨਹੀ ਏਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Har Bin Dhoojaa Ko Nehee Eaeko Naam Dhhiaae ||1|| Rehaao ||
हरि बिनु दूजा को नही एको नामु धिआइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Without the Lord, there is no other at all. Meditate on the One and only Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹਣੁ ਨ ਜਾਈਐ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਗੁਣੀ ਅਥਾਹੁ ॥
Keemath Kehan N Jaaeeai Saagar Gunee Athhaahu ||
कीमति कहणु न जाईऐ सागरु गुणी अथाहु ॥
His Value cannot be estimated; He is the Vast Ocean of Excellence.
ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਮਿਲੁ ਸੰਗਤੀ ਸਚਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਵਿਸਾਹੁ ॥
Vaddabhaagee Mil Sangathee Sachaa Sabadh Visaahu ||
वडभागी मिलु संगती सचा सबदु विसाहु ॥
O most fortunate ones, join the Sangat, the Blessed Congregation; purchase the True Word of the Shabad.
ਕਰਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰੈ ਸਿਰਿ ਸਾਹਾ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੁ ॥੨॥
Kar Saevaa Sukh Saagarai Sir Saahaa Paathisaahu ||2||
करि सेवा सुख सागरै सिरि साहा पातिसाहु ॥२॥
Serve the Lord, the Ocean of Peace, the Supreme Lord over kings and emperors. ||2||
ਚਰਣ ਕਮਲ ਕਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਠਾਉ ॥
Charan Kamal Kaa Aasaraa Dhoojaa Naahee Thaao ||
चरण कमल का आसरा दूजा नाही ठाउ ॥
I take the Support of the Lord's Lotus Feet; there is no other place of rest for me.
ਮੈ ਧਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਤੇਰੈ ਤਾਣਿ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Mai Dhhar Thaeree Paarabreham Thaerai Thaan Rehaao ||
मै धर तेरी पारब्रहम तेरै ताणि रहाउ ॥
I lean upon You as my Support, O Supreme Lord God. I exist only by Your Power.
ਨਿਮਾਣਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮਾਣੁ ਤੂੰ ਤੇਰੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਮਾਉ ॥੩॥
Nimaaniaa Prabh Maan Thoon Thaerai Sang Samaao ||3||
निमाणिआ प्रभु माणु तूं तेरै संगि समाउ ॥३॥
O God, You are the Honor of the dishonored. I seek to merge with You. ||3||
ਹਰਿ ਜਪੀਐ ਆਰਾਧੀਐ ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਗੋਵਿੰਦੁ ॥
Har Japeeai Aaraadhheeai Aath Pehar Govindh ||
हरि जपीऐ आराधीऐ आठ पहर गोविंदु ॥
Chant the Lord's Name and contemplate the Lord of the World, twenty-four hours a day.
ਜੀਅ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਤਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਰਖੇ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਰਾਖੀ ਜਿੰਦੁ ॥
Jeea Praan Than Dhhan Rakhae Kar Kirapaa Raakhee Jindh ||
जीअ प्राण तनु धनु रखे करि किरपा राखी जिंदु ॥
He preserves our soul, our breath of life, body and wealth. By His Grace, He protects our soul.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਗਲੇ ਦੋਖ ਉਤਾਰਿਅਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬਖਸਿੰਦੁ ॥੪॥੧੨॥੮੨॥
Naanak Sagalae Dhokh Outhaarian Prabh Paarabreham Bakhasindh ||4||12||82||
नानक सगले दोख उतारिअनु प्रभु पारब्रहम बखसिंदु ॥४॥१२॥८२॥
O Nanak, all pain has been washed away, by the Supreme Lord God, the Forgiver. ||4||12||82||

ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਲਗੀ ਤਿਸੁ ਸਚ ਸਿਉ ਮਰੈ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ ॥
Preeth Lagee This Sach Sio Marai N Aavai Jaae ||
प्रीति लगी तिसु सच सिउ मरै न आवै जाइ ॥
I have fallen in love with the True Lord. He does not die, He does not come and go.
ਨਾ ਵੇਛੋੜਿਆ ਵਿਛੁੜੈ ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ॥
Naa Vaeshhorriaa Vishhurrai Sabh Mehi Rehiaa Samaae ||
ना वेछोड़िआ विछुड़ै सभ महि रहिआ समाइ ॥
In separation, He is not separated from us; He is pervading and permeating amongst all.
ਦੀਨ ਦਰਦ ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਕੈ ਸਤ ਭਾਇ ॥
Dheen Dharadh Dhukh Bhanjanaa Saevak Kai Sath Bhaae ||
दीन दरद दुख भंजना सेवक कै सत भाइ ॥
He is the Destroyer of the pain and suffering of the meek. He bears True Love for His servants.
ਅਚਰਜ ਰੂਪੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੋ ਗੁਰਿ ਮੇਲਾਇਆ ਮਾਇ ॥੧॥
Acharaj Roop Niranjano Gur Maelaaeiaa Maae ||1||
अचरज रूपु निरंजनो गुरि मेलाइआ माइ ॥१॥
Wondrous is the Form of the Immaculate One. Through the Guru, I have met Him, O my mother! ||1||
ਭਾਈ ਰੇ ਮੀਤੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਇ ॥
Bhaaee Rae Meeth Karahu Prabh Soe ||
भाई रे मीतु करहु प्रभु सोइ ॥
