जिनि कीआ सोई प्रभु जाणै हरि का महलु अपारा ॥
One who knows that God created him, reaches the Incomparable Mansion of the Lord's Presence.

Pavahu Charanaa Thal Oopar Aavahu Aisee Saev Kamaavahu ||
पवहु चरणा तलि ऊपरि आवहु ऐसी सेव कमावहु ॥
Place yourself beneath all men's feet, and you will be uplifted; serve Him in this way.
ਆਪਸ ਤੇ ਊਪਰਿ ਸਭ ਜਾਣਹੁ ਤਉ ਦਰਗਹ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਵਹੁ ॥੧॥
Aapas Thae Oopar Sabh Jaanahu Tho Dharageh Sukh Paavahu ||1||
आपस ते ऊपरि सभ जाणहु तउ दरगह सुखु पावहु ॥१॥
Know that all are above you, and you shall find peace in the Court of the Lord. ||1||

संतहु ऐसी कथहु कहाणी ॥
O Saints, speak that speech which purifies the gods and sanctifies the divine beings.

सुर पवित्र नर देव पवित्रा खिनु बोलहु गुरमुखि बाणी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

ਪਰਪੰਚੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਸਹਜ ਘਰਿ ਬੈਸਹੁ ਝੂਠਾ ਕਹਹੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥
Parapanch Shhodd Sehaj Ghar Baisahu Jhoothaa Kehahu N Koee ||
परपंचु छोडि सहज घरि बैसहु झूठा कहहु न कोई ॥
Renounce your fraudulent plans, and dwell in the celestial palace; do not call anyone else false.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਨਵੈ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਤਤੁ ਬਿਲੋਈ ॥੨॥
Sathigur Milahu Navai Nidhh Paavahu Ein Bidhh Thath Biloee ||2||
सतिगुर मिलहु नवै निधि पावहु इन बिधि ततु बिलोई ॥२॥
Meeting with the True Guru, you shall receive the nine treasures; in this way, you shall find the essence of reality. ||2||
ਭਰਮੁ ਚੁਕਾਵਹੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਵਹੁ ਆਤਮੁ ਚੀਨਹੁ ਭਾਈ ॥
Bharam Chukaavahu Guramukh Liv Laavahu Aatham Cheenahu Bhaaee ||
भरमु चुकावहु गुरमुखि लिव लावहु आतमु चीनहु भाई ॥
Eradicate doubt, and as Gurmukh, enshrine love for the Lord; understand your own soul, O Siblings of Destiny.
ਨਿਕਟਿ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਣਹੁ ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਹਾਜਰੁ ਕਿਸੁ ਸਿਉ ਕਰਹੁ ਬੁਰਾਈ ॥੩॥
Nikatt Kar Jaanahu Sadhaa Prabh Haajar Kis Sio Karahu Buraaee ||3||
निकटि करि जाणहु सदा प्रभु हाजरु किसु सिउ करहु बुराई ॥३॥
Know that God is near at hand, and ever-present. How could you try to hurt anyone else? ||3||

सतिगुरि मिलिऐ मारगु मुकता सहजे मिले सुआमी ॥
Meeting with the True Guru, your path shall be clear, and you shall easily meet your Lord and Master.
ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਜਿਨੀ ਕਲਿ ਮਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ॥੪॥੨॥
Dhhan Dhhan Sae Jan Jinee Kal Mehi Har Paaeiaa Jan Naanak Sadh Kurabaanee ||4||2||
धनु धनु से जन जिनी कलि महि हरि पाइआ जन नानक सद कुरबानी ॥४॥२॥
Blessed, blessed are those humble beings, who, in this Dark Age of Kali Yuga, find the Lord. Nanak is forever a sacrifice to them. ||4||2||

Aavath Harakh N Jaavath Dhookhaa Neh Biaapai Man Roganee ||
आवत हरख न जावत दूखा नह बिआपै मन रोगनी ॥
Coming does not please me, and going does not bring me pain, and so my mind is not afflicted by disease.
ਸਦਾ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਤਉ ਉਤਰੀ ਸਗਲ ਬਿਓਗਨੀ ॥੧॥
Sadhaa Anandh Gur Pooraa Paaeiaa Tho Outharee Sagal Biouganee ||1||
सदा अनंदु गुरु पूरा पाइआ तउ उतरी सगल बिओगनी ॥१॥
I am in bliss forever, for I have found the Perfect Guru; my separation from the Lord is totally ended. ||1||

सुरग पवित्रा मिरत पवित्रा पइआल पवित्र अलोगनी ॥
I am pure in the heavenly realm, pure on this earth, and pure in the nether regions of the underworld. I remain apart from the people of the world.
ਆਗਿਆਕਾਰੀ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਭੁੰਚੈ ਜਤ ਕਤ ਪੇਖਉ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨੀ ॥੨॥
Aagiaakaaree Sadhaa Sukh Bhunchai Jath Kath Paekho Har Gunee ||2||
आगिआकारी सदा सुखु भुंचै जत कत पेखउ हरि गुनी ॥२॥
Obedient to the Lord, I enjoy peace forever; wherever I look, I see the Lord of glorious virtues. ||2||
ਨਹ ਸਿਵ ਸਕਤੀ ਜਲੁ ਨਹੀ ਪਵਨਾ ਤਹ ਅਕਾਰੁ ਨਹੀ ਮੇਦਨੀ ॥
Neh Siv Sakathee Jal Nehee Pavanaa Theh Akaar Nehee Maedhanee ||
नह सिव सकती जलु नही पवना तह अकारु नही मेदनी ॥
There is no Shiva or Shakti, no energy or matter, no water or wind, no world of form there,
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੋਗ ਕਾ ਤਹਾ ਨਿਵਾਸਾ ਜਹ ਅਵਿਗਤ ਨਾਥੁ ਅਗਮ ਧਨੀ ॥੩॥

सतिगुर जोग का तहा निवासा जह अविगत नाथु अगम धनी ॥३॥
Where the True Guru, the Yogi, dwells, where the Imperishable Lord God, the Unapproachable Master abides. ||3||
ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਧਨੁ ਸਭੁ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਹਉ ਕਿਆ ਗਨੀ ॥
Than Man Har Kaa Dhhan Sabh Har Kaa Har Kae Gun Ho Kiaa Ganee ||
तनु मनु हरि का धनु सभु हरि का हरि के गुण हउ किआ गनी ॥
Body and mind belong to the Lord; all wealth belongs to the Lord; what glorious virtues of the Lord can I describe?
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਮ ਤੁਮ ਗੁਰਿ ਖੋਈ ਹੈ ਅੰਭੈ ਅੰਭੁ ਮਿਲੋਗਨੀ ॥੪॥੩॥
Kahu Naanak Ham Thum Gur Khoee Hai Anbhai Anbh Miloganee ||4||3||
कहु नानक हम तुम गुरि खोई है अ्मभै अ्मभु मिलोगनी ॥४॥३॥
Says Nanak, the Guru has destroyed my sense of 'mine and yours'. Like water with water, I am blended with God. ||4||3||

त्रै गुण रहत रहै निरारी साधिक सिध न जानै ॥
It is beyond the three qualities; it remains untouched. The seekers and Siddhas do not know it.
ਰਤਨ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਖਜਾਨੈ ॥੧॥

रतन कोठड़ी अम्रित स्मपूरन सतिगुर कै खजानै ॥१॥
There is a chamber filled with jewels, overflowing with Ambrosial Nectar, in the Guru's Treasury. ||1||

अचरजु किछु कहणु न जाई ॥
This thing is wonderful and amazing! It cannot be described.

मोलु नाही कछु करणै जोगा किआ को कहै सुणावै ॥
Its value cannot be estimated at all; what can anyone say about it?
ਕਥਨ ਕਹਣ ਕਉ ਸੋਝੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਜੋ ਪੇਖੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਣਿ ਆਵੈ ॥੨॥
Kathhan Kehan Ko Sojhee Naahee Jo Paekhai This Ban Aavai ||2||
कथन कहण कउ सोझी नाही जो पेखै तिसु बणि आवै ॥२॥
By speaking and describing it, it cannot be understood; only one who sees it realizes it. ||2||
ਸੋਈ ਜਾਣੈ ਕਰਣੈਹਾਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿਆ ਬੇਚਾਰਾ ॥
Soee Jaanai Karanaihaaraa Keethaa Kiaa Baechaaraa ||
सोई जाणै करणैहारा कीता किआ बेचारा ॥
Only the Creator Lord knows it; what can any poor creature do?
ਆਪਣੀ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਆਪੇ ਜਾਣੈ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਪੂਰ ਭੰਡਾਰਾ ॥੩॥
Aapanee Gath Mith Aapae Jaanai Har Aapae Poor Bhanddaaraa ||3||
आपणी गति मिति आपे जाणै हरि आपे पूर भंडारा ॥३॥
Only He Himself knows His own state and extent. The Lord Himself is the treasure overflowing. ||3||
ਐਸਾ ਰਸੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਮਨਿ ਚਾਖਿਆ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਰਹੇ ਆਘਾਈ ॥
Aisaa Ras Anmrith Man Chaakhiaa Thripath Rehae Aaghaaee ||
ऐसा रसु अम्रितु मनि चाखिआ त्रिपति रहे आघाई ॥
Tasting such Ambrosial Nectar, the mind remains satisfied and satiated.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਸਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥੪॥੪॥

कहु नानक मेरी आसा पूरी सतिगुर की सरणाई ॥४॥४॥
