The three whirl-pools have stopped spinning.

The mountain of sin is burnt down, like straw,

जपि जपि नामु पूजे प्रभ पैर ॥
By chanting and meditating on the Name, and worshipping God's feet.

अनद रूप प्रगटिओ सभ थानि ॥
God, the embodiment of bliss, becomes manifest everywhere.

I have crossed over the world-ocean, as if it were no bigger than a calf's footprint on the ground.
ਖੇਦੁ ਨ ਪਾਇਓ ਨਹ ਫੁਨਿ ਰੋਜ ॥

खेदु न पाइओ नह फुनि रोज ॥
I shall never again have to endure suffering or grief.
ਸਿੰਧੁ ਸਮਾਇਓ ਘਟੁਕੇ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
Sindhh Samaaeiou Ghattukae Maahi ||
सिंधु समाइओ घटुके माहि ॥
The ocean is contained in the pitcher.
ਕਰਣਹਾਰ ਕਉ ਕਿਛੁ ਅਚਰਜੁ ਨਾਹਿ ॥੩॥
Karanehaar Ko Kishh Acharaj Naahi ||3||
करणहार कउ किछु अचरजु नाहि ॥३॥
This is not such an amazing thing for the Creator to do. ||3||
ਜਉ ਛੂਟਉ ਤਉ ਜਾਇ ਪਇਆਲ ॥
Jo Shhootto Tho Jaae Paeiaal ||
जउ छूटउ तउ जाइ पइआल ॥
When I am separated from Him, then I am consigned to the nether regions.
ਜਉ ਕਾਢਿਓ ਤਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥

जउ काढिओ तउ नदरि निहाल ॥
When He lifts me up and pulls me out, then I am enraptured by His Glance of Grace.

पाप पुंन हमरै वसि नाहि ॥
Vice and virtue are not under my control.

Neither your body nor your mind belong to you.
ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹਿ ਬਿਆਪਿਆ ਧੋਹਿ ॥

माइआ मोहि बिआपिआ धोहि ॥
Attached to Maya, you are entangled in fraud.
ਕੁਦਮ ਕਰੈ ਗਾਡਰ ਜਿਉ ਛੇਲ ॥

कुदम करै गाडर जिउ छेल ॥
You play like a baby lamb.
ਅਚਿੰਤੁ ਜਾਲੁ ਕਾਲੁ ਚਕ੍ਰੁ ਪੇਲ ॥੧॥

अचिंतु जालु कालु चक्रु पेल ॥१॥
But suddenly, Death will catch you in its noose. ||1||

हरि चरन कमल सरनाइ मना ॥
Seek the Sanctuary of the Lord's lotus feet, O my mind.

राम नामु जपि संगि सहाई गुरमुखि पावहि साचु धना ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Chant the Name of the Lord, which will be your help and support. As Gurmukh, you shall obtain the true wealth. ||1||Pause||
ਊਨੇ ਕਾਜ ਨ ਹੋਵਤ ਪੂਰੇ ॥
Oonae Kaaj N Hovath Poorae ||
ऊने काज न होवत पूरे ॥
Your unfinished worldly affairs will never be resolved.
ਕਾਮਿ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿ ਮਦਿ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਝੂਰੇ ॥
Kaam Krodhh Madh Sadh Hee Jhoorae ||
कामि क्रोधि मदि सद ही झूरे ॥
You shall always regret your sexual desire, anger and pride.
ਕਰੈ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਜੀਅਰੇ ਕੈ ਤਾਈ ॥
Karai Bikaar Jeearae Kai Thaaee ||
करै बिकार जीअरे कै ताई ॥
You act in corruption in order to survive,
ਗਾਫਲ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਤਸੂਆ ਜਾਈ ॥੨॥
Gaafal Sang N Thasooaa Jaaee ||2||
गाफल संगि न तसूआ जाई ॥२॥
But not even an iota will go along with you, you ignorant fool! ||2||
ਧਰਤ ਧੋਹ ਅਨਿਕ ਛਲ ਜਾਨੈ ॥
Dhharath Dhhoh Anik Shhal Jaanai ||
धरत धोह अनिक छल जानै ॥
You practice deception, and you know many tricks;
ਕਉਡੀ ਕਉਡੀ ਕਉ ਖਾਕੁ ਸਿਰਿ ਛਾਨੈ ॥
Kouddee Kouddee Ko Khaak Sir Shhaanai ||
कउडी कउडी कउ खाकु सिरि छानै ॥
For the sake of mere shells, you throw dust upon your head.
ਜਿਨਿ ਦੀਆ ਤਿਸੈ ਨ ਚੇਤੈ ਮੂਲਿ ॥
Jin Dheeaa Thisai N Chaethai Mool ||
जिनि दीआ तिसै न चेतै मूलि ॥
You never even think of the One who gave you life.
ਮਿਥਿਆ ਲੋਭੁ ਨ ਉਤਰੈ ਸੂਲੁ ॥੩॥
Mithhiaa Lobh N Outharai Sool ||3||
मिथिआ लोभु न उतरै सूलु ॥३॥
The pain of false greed never leaves you. ||3||
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਜਬ ਭਏ ਦਇਆਲ ॥
Paarabreham Jab Bheae Dhaeiaal ||
पारब्रहम जब भए दइआल ॥
When the Supreme Lord God becomes merciful,
ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਹੋਆ ਸਾਧ ਰਵਾਲ ॥
Eihu Man Hoaa Saadhh Ravaal ||
इहु मनु होआ साध रवाल ॥
This mind becomes the dust of the feet of the Holy.
ਹਸਤ ਕਮਲ ਲੜਿ ਲੀਨੋ ਲਾਇ ॥
Hasath Kamal Larr Leeno Laae ||
हसत कमल लड़ि लीनो लाइ ॥
With His lotus hands, He has attached us to the hem of His robe.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਚੈ ਸਾਚਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੪॥੪੧॥੫੨॥

Nirabho Bheae Gobindh Gun Gaavath Saadhhasang Dhukh Jaae ||1|| Rehaao ||
निरभउ भए गोबिंद गुन गावत साधसंगि दुखु जाइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
I have become fearless, singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe. In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, my pains have been taken away. ||1||Pause||
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਰਾਮੁ ਬਸੈ ਮਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
Jaa Kai Raam Basai Man Maahee ||
जा कै रामु बसै मन माही ॥
That person, within whose mind the Lord abides,
ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਦੁਤਰੁ ਪੇਖਤ ਨਾਹੀ ॥
So Jan Dhuthar Paekhath Naahee ||
सो जनु दुतरु पेखत नाही ॥
Does not see the impassible world-ocean.
ਸਗਲੇ ਕਾਜ ਸਵਾਰੇ ਅਪਨੇ ॥
Sagalae Kaaj Savaarae Apanae ||
सगले काज सवारे अपने ॥
All one's affairs are resolved,
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਸਨ ਨਿਤ ਜਪਨੇ ॥੧॥
Har Har Naam Rasan Nith Japanae ||1||
हरि हरि नामु रसन नित जपने ॥१॥
By chanting continually the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||
ਜਿਸ ਕੈ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਹਾਥੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਧਰੈ ॥
Jis Kai Masathak Haathh Gur Dhharai ||
जिस कै मसतकि हाथु गुरु धरै ॥
Why should His slave feel any anxiety?
ਸੋ ਦਾਸੁ ਅਦੇਸਾ ਕਾਹੇ ਕਰੈ ॥
So Dhaas Adhaesaa Kaahae Karai ||
सो दासु अदेसा काहे करै ॥
The Guru places His hand upon my forehead.
ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਕੀ ਚੂਕੀ ਕਾਣਿ ॥
Janam Maran Kee Chookee Kaan ||
जनम मरण की चूकी काणि ॥
The fear of birth and death is dispelled;
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਊਪਰਿ ਕੁਰਬਾਣ ॥੨॥
Poorai Gur Oopar Kurabaan ||2||
पूरे गुर ऊपरि कुरबाण ॥२॥
I am a sacrifice to the Perfect Guru. ||2||
ਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਭੇਟਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥
Gur Paramaesar Bhaett Nihaal ||
गुरु परमेसरु भेटि निहाल ॥
I am enraptured, meeting with the Guru, the Transcendent Lord.
ਸੋ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਪਾਏ ਜਿਸੁ ਹੋਇ ਦਇਆਲੁ ॥
So Dharasan Paaeae Jis Hoe Dhaeiaal ||
सो दरसनु पाए जिसु होइ दइआलु ॥
He alone obtains the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan, who is blessed by His Mercy.
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਜਿਸੁ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੈ ॥
Paarabreham Jis Kirapaa Karai ||
पारब्रहमु जिसु किरपा करै ॥
One who is blessed by the Grace of the Supreme Lord God,
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਸੋ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਤਰੈ ॥੩॥
Saadhhasang So Bhavajal Tharai ||3||
साधसंगि सो भवजलु तरै ॥३॥
Crosses over the terrifying world-ocean in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||3||
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪੀਵਹੁ ਸਾਧ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥
Anmrith Peevahu Saadhh Piaarae ||
अम्रितु पीवहु साध पिआरे ॥
Drink in the Ambrosial Nectar, O Beloved Holy people.
ਮੁਖ ਊਜਲ ਸਾਚੈ ਦਰਬਾਰੇ ॥
Mukh Oojal Saachai Dharabaarae ||
मुख ऊजल साचै दरबारे ॥
Your face shall be radiant and bright in the Court of the Lord.
ਅਨਦ ਕਰਹੁ ਤਜਿ ਸਗਲ ਬਿਕਾਰ ॥
Anadh Karahu Thaj Sagal Bikaar ||
अनद करहु तजि सगल बिकार ॥
Celebrate and be blissful, and abandon all corruption.
