पीऊ दादे का खोलि डिठा खजाना ॥
When I opened it up and gazed upon the treasures of my father and grandfather,
ਤਾ ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਭਇਆ ਨਿਧਾਨਾ ॥੧॥
Thaa Maerai Man Bhaeiaa Nidhhaanaa ||1||
ता मेरै मनि भइआ निधाना ॥१॥
Then my mind became very happy. ||1||
ਰਤਨ ਲਾਲ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਮੋਲੁ ॥
Rathan Laal Jaa Kaa Kashhoo N Mol ||
रतन लाल जा का कछू न मोलु ॥
The storehouse is inexhaustible and immeasurable,
ਭਰੇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਅਖੂਟ ਅਤੋਲ ॥੨॥
Bharae Bhanddaar Akhoott Athol ||2||
भरे भंडार अखूट अतोल ॥२॥
Overflowing with priceless jewels and rubies. ||2||
ਖਾਵਹਿ ਖਰਚਹਿ ਰਲਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਭਾਈ ॥
Khaavehi Kharachehi Ral Mil Bhaaee ||
खावहि खरचहि रलि मिलि भाई ॥
The Siblings of Destiny meet together, and eat and spend,
ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਵਧਦੋ ਜਾਈ ॥੩॥
Thott N Aavai Vadhhadho Jaaee ||3||
तोटि न आवै वधदो जाई ॥३॥
But these resources do not diminish; they continue to increase. ||3||
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲੇਖੁ ਲਿਖਾਇ ॥

I was scared, scared to death, when I thought that He was far away.
ਡਰੁ ਚੂਕਾ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥੧॥
Ddar Chookaa Dhaekhiaa Bharapoor ||1||
डरु चूका देखिआ भरपूरि ॥१॥
But my fear was removed, when I saw that He is pervading everywhere. ||1||

Dhookh Rog Sog Bisarai Jab Naam ||
दूखु रोगु सोगु बिसरै जब नामु ॥
Pain, disease and sorrow come when one forgets the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
ਸਦਾ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਜਾ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਮੁ ॥੨॥
Sadhaa Anandh Jaa Har Gun Gaam ||2||
सदा अनंदु जा हरि गुण गामु ॥२॥
Eternal bliss comes when one sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||2||
ਬੁਰਾ ਭਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਨ ਕਹੀਜੈ ॥
Buraa Bhalaa Koee N Keheejai ||
बुरा भला कोई न कहीजै ॥
Do not say that anyone is good or bad.
ਛੋਡਿ ਮਾਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਚਰਨ ਗਹੀਜੈ ॥੩॥
Shhodd Maan Har Charan Geheejai ||3||
छोडि मानु हरि चरन गहीजै ॥३॥
Renounce your arrogant pride, and grasp the Feet of the Lord. ||3||

दूखु दरदु भ्रमु ता का भागी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Jaa Ko Ras Har Ras Hai Aaeiou ||
जा कउ रसु हरि रसु है आइओ ॥
Those who have enjoyed the flavor of the Lord's sublime essence
ਸੋ ਅਨ ਰਸ ਨਾਹੀ ਲਪਟਾਇਓ ॥੨॥
So An Ras Naahee Lapattaaeiou ||2||
सो अन रस नाही लपटाइओ ॥२॥
Are not attracted to any other pleasures. ||2||
ਜਾ ਕਾ ਕਹਿਆ ਦਰਗਹ ਚਲੈ ॥
Jaa Kaa Kehiaa Dharageh Chalai ||
जा का कहिआ दरगह चलै ॥
Those whose speech is accepted in the Court of the Lord
ਸੋ ਕਿਸ ਕਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਲੈ ਆਵੈ ਤਲੈ ॥੩॥
So Kis Ko Nadhar Lai Aavai Thalai ||3||
सो किस कउ नदरि लै आवै तलै ॥३॥
- what do they care about anything else? ||3||
ਜਾ ਕਾ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਹੋਇ ॥

जा का सभु किछु ता का होइ ॥
Those who belong to the One, unto whom all things belong

ता कउ काड़ा कहा बिआपै ॥१॥
- how can anxiety touch them? ||1||

सहज अनंद हरि साधू माहि ॥
Tell me, how can he meet the Lord of the World?
ਆਗਿਆਕਾਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

आगिआकारी हरि हरि राइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
They remain obedient to the Lord, the Sovereign Lord King. ||1||Pause||
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਅਚਿੰਤੁ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਇ ॥
Jaa Kai Achinth Vasai Man Aae ||
जा कै अचिंतु वसै मनि आइ ॥
Those who have the Carefree Lord abiding in their minds
ਤਾ ਕਉ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਕਤਹੂੰ ਨਾਹਿ ॥੨॥
Thaa Ko Chinthaa Kathehoon Naahi ||2||
ता कउ चिंता कतहूं नाहि ॥२॥
- no cares will ever bother them. ||2||
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਬਿਨਸਿਓ ਮਨ ਤੇ ਭਰਮਾ ॥
Jaa Kai Binasiou Man Thae Bharamaa ||
जा कै बिनसिओ मन ते भरमा ॥
Those who have banished doubt from their minds
ਤਾ ਕੈ ਕਛੂ ਨਾਹੀ ਡਰੁ ਜਮਾ ॥੩॥
Thaa Kai Kashhoo Naahee Ddar Jamaa ||3||
ता कै कछू नाही डरु जमा ॥३॥
Are not afraid of death at all. ||3||
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਦੀਓ ਗੁਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ॥

हरख अनंत सोग नही बीआ ॥
There is infinite joy, and no sorrow or duality.
