ਤੂੰ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਤੂੰਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥
Thoon Samarathh Thoonhai Maeraa Suaamee ||
तूं समरथु तूंहै मेरा सुआमी ॥
You are All-powerful, You are my Lord and Master.
ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਤੁਮ ਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥੧॥
Sabh Kishh Thum Thae Thoon Antharajaamee ||1||
सभु किछु तुम ते तूं अंतरजामी ॥१॥
Everything comes from You; You are the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts. ||1||

तेरी सरणि उधरहि जन कोटि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Millions are saved in Your Sanctuary. ||1||Pause||
ਜੇਤੇ ਜੀਅ ਤੇਤੇ ਸਭਿ ਤੇਰੇ ॥
Jaethae Jeea Thaethae Sabh Thaerae ||
जेते जीअ तेते सभि तेरे ॥
As many creatures as there are - they are all Yours.
ਤੁਮਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਤੇ ਸੂਖ ਘਨੇਰੇ ॥੨॥
Thumaree Kirapaa Thae Sookh Ghanaerae ||2||
तुमरी क्रिपा ते सूख घनेरे ॥२॥
By Your Grace, all sorts of comforts are obtained. ||2||
ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਵਰਤੈ ਸਭ ਤੇਰਾ ਭਾਣਾ ॥
Jo Kishh Varathai Sabh Thaeraa Bhaanaa ||
जो किछु वरतै सभ तेरा भाणा ॥
Whatever happens, is all according to Your Will.
ਹੁਕਮੁ ਬੂਝੈ ਸੋ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਣਾ ॥੩॥
Hukam Boojhai So Sach Samaanaa ||3||
हुकमु बूझै सो सचि समाणा ॥३॥
One who understands the Hukam of the Lord's Command, is absorbed in the True Lord. ||3||
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੀਜੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਾਨੁ ॥
Kar Kirapaa Dheejai Prabh Dhaan ||
करि किरपा दीजै प्रभ दानु ॥
Please grant Your Grace, God, and bestow this gift
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਿਮਰੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥੪॥੬੬॥੧੩੫॥

ਤਾ ਕਾ ਦਰਸੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ॥

ता का दरसु पाईऐ वडभागी ॥
By great good fortune, the Blessed Vision of His Darshan is obtained,
ਜਾ ਕੀ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ॥੧॥
Jaa Kee Raam Naam Liv Laagee ||1||
जा की राम नामि लिव लागी ॥१॥
O my mind, chant the Bani, the Hymns of the Lord of the Universe.
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਮਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
Jaa Kai Har Vasiaa Man Maahee ||
जा कै हरि वसिआ मन माही ॥
Those whose minds are filled with the Lord,
ਤਾ ਕਉ ਦੁਖੁ ਸੁਪਨੈ ਭੀ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Thaa Ko Dhukh Supanai Bhee Naahee ||1|| Rehaao ||
ता कउ दुखु सुपनै भी नाही ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Do not suffer pain, even in dreams. ||1||Pause||
ਸਰਬ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਰਾਖੇ ਜਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
Sarab Nidhhaan Raakhae Jan Maahi ||
सरब निधान राखे जन माहि ॥
All treasures have been placed within the minds of His humble servants.
ਤਾ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਦੁਖ ਜਾਹਿ ॥੨॥
Thaa Kai Sang Kilavikh Dhukh Jaahi ||2||
ता कै संगि किलविख दुख जाहि ॥२॥
In their company, sinful mistakes and sorrows are taken away. ||2||
ਜਨ ਕੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕਥੀ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥
Jan Kee Mehimaa Kathhee N Jaae ||
जन की महिमा कथी न जाइ ॥
Write in your mind the Word of the Lord, Har, Har. ||3||
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਜਨੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੩॥

पारब्रहमु जनु रहिआ समाइ ॥३॥
The servants of the Supreme Lord God remain absorbed in Him. ||3||
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਿਨਉ ਸੁਨੀਜੈ ॥

करि किरपा प्रभ बिनउ सुनीजै ॥
Grant Your Grace, God, and hear my prayer:
ਦਾਸ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਦੀਜੈ ॥੪॥੬੭॥੧੩੬॥
Dhaas Kee Dhhoor Naanak Ko Dheejai ||4||67||136||
दास की धूरि नानक कउ दीजै ॥४॥६७॥१३६॥
Please bless Nanak with the dust of the feet of Your slave. ||4||67||136||

Remembering the Lord in meditation, your misfortune shall be taken away,
ਸਰਬ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਇ ॥੧॥
Sarab Kaliaan Vasai Man Aae ||1||
सरब कलिआण वसै मनि आइ ॥१॥
And all joy shall come to abide in your mind. ||1||
ਭਜੁ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਏਕੋ ਨਾਮ ॥
Bhaj Man Maerae Eaeko Naam ||
भजु मन मेरे एको नाम ॥
Meditate, O my mind, on the One Name.
ਜੀਅ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੈ ਆਵੈ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Jeea Thaerae Kai Aavai Kaam ||1|| Rehaao ||
जीअ तेरे कै आवै काम ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
It alone shall be of use to your soul. ||1||Pause||
ਰੈਣਿ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉ ਅਨੰਤਾ ॥
Rain Dhinas Gun Gaao Ananthaa ||
रैणि दिनसु गुण गाउ अनंता ॥
Night and day, sing the Glorious Praises of the Infinite Lord,
ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਾ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮੰਤਾ ॥੨॥
Gur Poorae Kaa Niramal Manthaa ||2||
गुर पूरे का निरमल मंता ॥२॥
Through the Pure Mantra of the Perfect Guru. ||2||
ਛੋਡਿ ਉਪਾਵ ਏਕ ਟੇਕ ਰਾਖੁ ॥
Shhodd Oupaav Eaek Ttaek Raakh ||
छोडि उपाव एक टेक राखु ॥
Give up other efforts, and place your faith in the Support of the One Lord.
ਮਹਾ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸੁ ਚਾਖੁ ॥੩॥
Mehaa Padhaarathh Anmrith Ras Chaakh ||3||
महा पदारथु अम्रित रसु चाखु ॥३॥
Taste the Ambrosial Essence of this, the greatest treasure. ||3||
ਬਿਖਮ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਤੇਈ ਜਨ ਤਰੇ ॥
Bikham Saagar Thaeee Jan Tharae ||
बिखम सागरु तेई जन तरे ॥
They alone cross over the treacherous world-ocean,
ਨਾਨਕ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ॥੪॥੬੮॥੧੩੭॥

I have enshrined the Lotus Feet of God within my heart.
ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੇ ॥੧॥
Poorae Sathigur Mil Nisathaarae ||1||
पूरे सतिगुर मिलि निसतारे ॥१॥
Meeting the Perfect True Guru, I am emancipated. ||1||
ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ॥
Govindh Gun Gaavahu Maerae Bhaaee ||
गोविंद गुण गावहु मेरे भाई ॥
Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe, O my Siblings of Destiny.
ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Mil Saadhhoo Har Naam Dhhiaaee ||1|| Rehaao ||
मिलि साधू हरि नामु धिआई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
If You abide in the mind, we do not suffer in sorrow.
ਦੁਲਭ ਦੇਹ ਹੋਈ ਪਰਵਾਨੁ ॥
Dhulabh Dhaeh Hoee Paravaan ||
दुलभ देह होई परवानु ॥
This human body, so difficult to obtain, is redeemed
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਨਾਮ ਨੀਸਾਨੁ ॥੨॥
Sathigur Thae Paaeiaa Naam Neesaan ||2||
सतिगुर ते पाइआ नाम नीसानु ॥२॥
When one receives the banner of the Naam from the True Guru. ||2||
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
Har Simarath Pooran Padh Paaeiaa ||
हरि सिमरत पूरन पदु पाइआ ॥
Meditating in remembrance on the Lord, the state of perfection is attained.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਭੈ ਭਰਮ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
Saadhhasang Bhai Bharam Mittaaeiaa ||3||
साधसंगि भै भरम मिटाइआ ॥३॥
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, fear and doubt depart. ||3||
ਜਤ ਕਤ ਦੇਖਉ ਤਤ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ॥
Jath Kath Dhaekho Thath Rehiaa Samaae ||
जत कत देखउ तत रहिआ समाइ ॥
Wherever I look, there I see the Lord pervading.
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਾਇ ॥੪॥੬੯॥੧੩੮॥

जपि जपि जीवा सतिगुर नाउ ॥१॥

चरन कमल हिरदै उर धारी ॥
I enshrine His Lotus Feet within my heart.
ਮਨ ਤਨ ਧਨ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧਾਰੀ ॥੨॥
Man Than Dhhan Gur Praan Adhhaaree ||2||
मन तन धन गुर प्रान अधारी ॥२॥
I offer my mind, body and wealth to the Guru, the Support of the breath of life. ||2||
ਸਫਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ॥
Safal Janam Hovai Paravaan ||
सफल जनमु होवै परवाणु ॥
My life is prosperous, fruitful and approved;
ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਣੁ ॥੩॥

गुरु पारब्रहमु निकटि करि जाणु ॥३॥
I know that the Guru, the Supreme Lord God, is near me. ||3||
ਸੰਤ ਧੂਰਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ॥
Santh Dhhoor Paaeeai Vaddabhaagee ||
संत धूरि पाईऐ वडभागी ॥
By great good fortune, I have obtained the dust of the feet of the Saints.
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰ ਭੇਟਤ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ॥੪॥੭੦॥੧੩੯॥
