आसा माणु ताणु धनु एक ॥
The One Lord is my hope, honor, power and wealth.
ਸਾਚੇ ਸਾਹ ਕੀ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਟੇਕ ॥੩॥
Saachae Saah Kee Man Mehi Ttaek ||3||
साचे साह की मन महि टेक ॥३॥
Within my mind is the Support of the True Banker. ||3||
ਮਹਾ ਗਰੀਬ ਜਨ ਸਾਧ ਅਨਾਥ ॥
Mehaa Gareeb Jan Saadhh Anaathh ||
महा गरीब जन साध अनाथ ॥
I am the poorest and most helpless servant of the Holy.

Taking my cleansing bath in the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, I have been purified.

जनम जनम के किलविख नसे ॥१॥
The sinful mistakes of countless incarnations are removed. ||1||
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥

साधसंगि कीरतन फलु पाइआ ॥
I have obtained the reward of the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises, in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਜਮ ਕਾ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਨ ਆਇਆ ॥੨॥
Jam Kaa Maarag Dhrisatt N Aaeiaa ||2||
जम का मारगु द्रिसटि न आइआ ॥२॥
I no longer have to gaze upon the way of death. ||2||
ਮਨ ਬਚ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥
Man Bach Kram Govindh Adhhaar ||
मन बच क्रम गोविंद अधारु ॥
In thought, word and deed, seek the Support of the Lord of the Universe;
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਛੁਟਿਓ ਬਿਖੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥੩॥
Thaa Thae Shhuttiou Bikh Sansaar ||3||
ता ते छुटिओ बिखु संसारु ॥३॥
Thus you shall be saved from the poisonous world-ocean. ||3||
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕੀਨੋ ਅਪਨਾ ॥

करि किरपा प्रभि कीनो अपना ॥
Granting His Grace, God has made me His Own.

मनु तनु सीतलु चरण हरि राते ॥१॥
Your mind and body shall become cool and peaceful, imbued with the Feet of the Lord. ||1||
ਭੈ ਭੰਜਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮਨਿ ਨ ਬਸਾਹੀ ॥

भै भंजन प्रभ मनि न बसाही ॥
If God, the Destroyer of fear, does not dwell within your mind,
ਡਰਪਤ ਡਰਪਤ ਜਨਮ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਜਾਹੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Ddarapath Ddarapath Janam Bahuth Jaahee ||1|| Rehaao ||
डरपत डरपत जनम बहुतु जाही ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
You shall spend countless incarnations in fear and dread. ||1||Pause||
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਰਿਦੈ ਬਸਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ॥
Jaa Kai Ridhai Basiou Har Naam ||
जा कै रिदै बसिओ हरि नाम ॥
But those who are intoxicated with vice shall find no home, no place of rest. ||2||
ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਾਮ ॥੨॥

सगल मनोरथ ता के पूरन काम ॥२॥
Have all their desires and tasks fulfilled. ||2||
ਜਨਮੁ ਜਰਾ ਮਿਰਤੁ ਜਿਸੁ ਵਾਸਿ ॥
Janam Jaraa Mirath Jis Vaas ||
जनमु जरा मिरतु जिसु वासि ॥
Birth, old age and death are in His Power,
ਸੋ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਗਿਰਾਸਿ ॥੩॥
So Samarathh Simar Saas Giraas ||3||
सो समरथु सिमरि सासि गिरासि ॥३॥
So remember that All-powerful Lord with each breath and morsel of food. ||3||

घरि आए गोविंदु लै नालि ॥१॥
Returning home, the Lord of the Universe is still with them. ||1||

हरि हरि नामु संतन कै संगि ॥
The Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is the Companion of His Saints.

गुर परसादी सागरु तरिआ ॥

Bipath Thehaa Jehaa Har Simaran Naahee ||
बिपति तहा जहा हरि सिमरनु नाही ॥
Misfortune occurs where the Lord is not remembered in meditation.
ਕੋਟਿ ਅਨੰਦ ਜਹ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਹੀ ॥੧॥
Kott Anandh Jeh Har Gun Gaahee ||1||
कोटि अनंद जह हरि गुन गाही ॥१॥
There are millions of joys where the Glorious Praises of the Lord are sung. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਬਿਸਰਿਐ ਦੁਖ ਰੋਗ ਘਨੇਰੇ ॥
Har Bisariai Dhukh Rog Ghanaerae ||
हरि बिसरिऐ दुख रोग घनेरे ॥
Forgetting the Lord, all sorts of pains and diseases come.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੇਵਾ ਜਮੁ ਲਗੈ ਨ ਨੇਰੇ ॥੨॥
Prabh Saevaa Jam Lagai N Naerae ||2||
प्रभ सेवा जमु लगै न नेरे ॥२॥
Serving God, the Messenger of Death will not even approach you. ||2||
ਸੋ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਨਿਹਚਲ ਥਾਨੁ ॥
So Vaddabhaagee Nihachal Thhaan ||
सो वडभागी निहचल थानु ॥
Very blessed, stable and sublime is that place,
ਜਹ ਜਪੀਐ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇਵਲ ਨਾਮੁ ॥੩॥
Jeh Japeeai Prabh Kaeval Naam ||3||
जह जपीऐ प्रभ केवल नामु ॥३॥
Where the Name of God alone is chanted. ||3||
ਜਹ ਜਾਈਐ ਤਹ ਨਾਲਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥
Jeh Jaaeeai Theh Naal Maeraa Suaamee ||
जह जाईऐ तह नालि मेरा सुआमी ॥
Wherever I go, my Lord and Master is with me.
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥੪॥੮੯॥੧੫੮॥

पड़िआ अणपड़िआ परम गति पावै ॥१॥
Whether educated or uneducated, obtains the state of supreme dignity. ||1||
