ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਵੇਖੁ ਤੂ ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਤੇਰੈ ਨਾਲਿ ॥

गुर परसादी वेखु तू हरि मंदरु तेरै नालि ॥
By Guru's Grace, see that the Temple of the Lord is within you.
ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਸਬਦੇ ਖੋਜੀਐ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੋ ਲੇਹੁ ਸਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਲਿ ॥੧॥
Har Mandhar Sabadhae Khojeeai Har Naamo Laehu Samhaal ||1||
हरि मंदरु सबदे खोजीऐ हरि नामो लेहु सम्हालि ॥१॥
The Temple of the Lord is found through the Word of the Shabad; contemplate the Lord's Name. ||1||
ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਬਦਿ ਰਪੈ ਰੰਗੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Man Maerae Sabadh Rapai Rang Hoe ||
मन मेरे सबदि रपै रंगु होइ ॥
O my mind, be joyfully attuned to the Shabad.
ਸਚੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਸਚਾ ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੀ ਸਾਚੀ ਸੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

सची भगति सचा हरि मंदरु प्रगटी साची सोइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
True is devotional worship, and True is the Temple of the Lord; True is His Manifest Glory. ||1||Pause||
ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਏਹੁ ਸਰੀਰੁ ਹੈ ਗਿਆਨਿ ਰਤਨਿ ਪਰਗਟੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Har Mandhar Eaehu Sareer Hai Giaan Rathan Paragatt Hoe ||
हरि मंदरु एहु सरीरु है गिआनि रतनि परगटु होइ ॥
This body is the Temple of the Lord, in which the jewel of spiritual wisdom is revealed.
ਮਨਮੁਖ ਮੂਲੁ ਨ ਜਾਣਨੀ ਮਾਣਸਿ ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥੨॥
Manamukh Mool N Jaananee Maanas Har Mandhar N Hoe ||2||
मनमुख मूलु न जाणनी माणसि हरि मंदरु न होइ ॥२॥
The self-willed manmukhs do not know anything at all; they do not believe that the Lord's Temple is within. ||2||
ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਰਖਿਆ ਹੁਕਮਿ ਸਵਾਰਿ ॥
Har Mandhar Har Jeeo Saajiaa Rakhiaa Hukam Savaar ||
हरि मंदरु हरि जीउ साजिआ रखिआ हुकमि सवारि ॥
The Dear Lord created the Temple of the Lord; He adorns it by His Will.
ਧੁਰਿ ਲੇਖੁ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੁ ਕਮਾਵਣਾ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਮੇਟਣਹਾਰੁ ॥੩॥
Dhhur Laekh Likhiaa S Kamaavanaa Koe N Maettanehaar ||3||
धुरि लेखु लिखिआ सु कमावणा कोइ न मेटणहारु ॥३॥
All act according to their pre-ordained destiny; no one can erase it. ||3||
ਸਬਦੁ ਚੀਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਚੈ ਨਾਇ ਪਿਆਰ ॥
Sabadh Cheenih Sukh Paaeiaa Sachai Naae Piaar ||
सबदु चीन्हि सुखु पाइआ सचै नाइ पिआर ॥
Contemplating the Shabad, peace is obtained, loving the True Name.
ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਸਬਦੇ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਕੰਚਨੁ ਕੋਟੁ ਅਪਾਰ ॥੪॥
Har Mandhar Sabadhae Sohanaa Kanchan Kott Apaar ||4||
हरि मंदरु सबदे सोहणा कंचनु कोटु अपार ॥४॥
The Temple of the Lord is embellished with the Shabad; it is an Infinite Fortress of God. ||4||
ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਏਹੁ ਜਗਤੁ ਹੈ ਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਘੋਰੰਧਾਰ ॥
Har Mandhar Eaehu Jagath Hai Gur Bin Ghorandhhaar ||
हरि मंदरु एहु जगतु है गुर बिनु घोरंधार ॥
This world is the Temple of the Lord; without the Guru, there is only pitch darkness.
ਦੂਜਾ ਭਾਉ ਕਰਿ ਪੂਜਦੇ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਅੰਧ ਗਵਾਰ ॥੫॥
Dhoojaa Bhaao Kar Poojadhae Manamukh Andhh Gavaar ||5||
दूजा भाउ करि पूजदे मनमुख अंध गवार ॥५॥
The blind and foolish self-willed manmukhs worship in the love of duality. ||5||
ਜਿਥੈ ਲੇਖਾ ਮੰਗੀਐ ਤਿਥੈ ਦੇਹ ਜਾਤਿ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥
Jithhai Laekhaa Mangeeai Thithhai Dhaeh Jaath N Jaae ||
जिथै लेखा मंगीऐ तिथै देह जाति न जाइ ॥
One's body and social status do not go along to that place, where all are called to account.
ਸਾਚਿ ਰਤੇ ਸੇ ਉਬਰੇ ਦੁਖੀਏ ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ॥੬॥
Saach Rathae Sae Oubarae Dhukheeeae Dhoojai Bhaae ||6||
साचि रते से उबरे दुखीए दूजै भाइ ॥६॥
Those who are attuned to Truth are saved; those in the love of duality are miserable. ||6||
ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰ ਮਹਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਹੈ ਨਾ ਬੂਝਹਿ ਮੁਗਧ ਗਵਾਰ ॥
Har Mandhar Mehi Naam Nidhhaan Hai Naa Boojhehi Mugadhh Gavaar ||
हरि मंदर महि नामु निधानु है ना बूझहि मुगध गवार ॥
The treasure of the Naam is within the Temple of the Lord. The idiotic fools do not realize this.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਚੀਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰਿ ॥੭॥
Gur Parasaadhee Cheenihaaa Har Raakhiaa Our Dhhaar ||7||
गुर परसादी चीन्हिआ हरि राखिआ उरि धारि ॥७॥
By Guru's Grace, I have realized this. I keep the Lord enshrined within my heart. ||7||
ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਜਾਤੀ ਜਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਰਤੇ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਇ ॥
Gur Kee Baanee Gur Thae Jaathee J Sabadh Rathae Rang Laae ||
गुर की बाणी गुर ते जाती जि सबदि रते रंगु लाइ ॥
Those who are attuned to the love of the Shabad know the Guru, through the Word of the Guru's Bani.
ਪਵਿਤੁ ਪਾਵਨ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੮॥
Pavith Paavan Sae Jan Niramal Har Kai Naam Samaae ||8||
पवितु पावन से जन निरमल हरि कै नामि समाइ ॥८॥
Sacred, pure and immaculate are those humble beings who are absorbed in the Name of the Lord. ||8||
ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਹਾਟੁ ਹੈ ਰਖਿਆ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਵਾਰਿ ॥
Har Mandhar Har Kaa Haatt Hai Rakhiaa Sabadh Savaar ||
हरि मंदरु हरि का हाटु है रखिआ सबदि सवारि ॥
The Temple of the Lord is the Lord's Shop; He embellishes it with the Word of His Shabad.
ਤਿਸੁ ਵਿਚਿ ਸਉਦਾ ਏਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਲੈਨਿ ਸਵਾਰਿ ॥੯॥
This Vich Soudhaa Eaek Naam Guramukh Lain Savaar ||9||
तिसु विचि सउदा एकु नामु गुरमुखि लैनि सवारि ॥९॥
In that shop is the merchandise of the One Name; the Gurmukhs adorn themselves with it. ||9||
ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰ ਮਹਿ ਮਨੁ ਲੋਹਟੁ ਹੈ ਮੋਹਿਆ ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ॥
Har Mandhar Mehi Man Lohatt Hai Mohiaa Dhoojai Bhaae ||
हरि मंदर महि मनु लोहटु है मोहिआ दूजै भाइ ॥
The mind is like iron slag, within the Temple of the Lord; it is lured by the love of duality.
ਪਾਰਸਿ ਭੇਟਿਐ ਕੰਚਨੁ ਭਇਆ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹੀ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥੧੦॥
Paaras Bhaettiai Kanchan Bhaeiaa Keemath Kehee N Jaae ||10||
पारसि भेटिऐ कंचनु भइआ कीमति कही न जाइ ॥१०॥
Meeting with the Guru, the Philosopher's Stone, the mind is transformed into gold. Its value cannot be described. ||10||
ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰ ਮਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਵਸੈ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਿ ਸੋਇ ॥
Har Mandhar Mehi Har Vasai Sarab Niranthar Soe ||
हरि मंदर महि हरि वसै सरब निरंतरि सोइ ॥
The Lord abides within the Temple of the Lord. He is pervading in all.
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਵਣਜੀਐ ਸਚਾ ਸਉਦਾ ਹੋਇ ॥੧੧॥੧॥
Naanak Guramukh Vanajeeai Sachaa Soudhaa Hoe ||11||1||
नानक गुरमुखि वणजीऐ सचा सउदा होइ ॥११॥१॥
O Nanak, the Gurmukhs trade in the merchandise of Truth. ||11||1||

Prabhaatee, Third Mehl:
ਭੈ ਭਾਇ ਜਾਗੇ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਜਾਗ੍ਰਣ ਕਰਹਿ ਹਉਮੈ ਮੈਲੁ ਉਤਾਰਿ ॥
Bhai Bhaae Jaagae Sae Jan Jaagran Karehi Houmai Mail Outhaar ||
भै भाइ जागे से जन जाग्रण करहि हउमै मैलु उतारि ॥
Those who remain awake and aware in the Love and Fear of God, rid themselves of the filth and pollution of egotism.
ਸਦਾ ਜਾਗਹਿ ਘਰੁ ਅਪਣਾ ਰਾਖਹਿ ਪੰਚ ਤਸਕਰ ਕਾਢਹਿ ਮਾਰਿ ॥੧॥
Sadhaa Jaagehi Ghar Apanaa Raakhehi Panch Thasakar Kaadtehi Maar ||1||
सदा जागहि घरु अपणा राखहि पंच तसकर काढहि मारि ॥१॥
They remain awake and aware forever, and protect their homes, by beating and driving out the five thieves. ||1||
ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇ ॥
Man Maerae Guramukh Naam Dhhiaae ||
मन मेरे गुरमुखि नामु धिआइ ॥
O my mind, as Gurmukh, meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
ਜਿਤੁ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਨ ਸੇਈ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Jith Maarag Har Paaeeai Man Saeee Karam Kamaae ||1|| Rehaao ||
जितु मारगि हरि पाईऐ मन सेई करम कमाइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
O mind, do only those deeds which will lead you to the Path of the Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਹਜ ਧੁਨਿ ਊਪਜੈ ਦੁਖੁ ਹਉਮੈ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਜਾਇ ॥
Guramukh Sehaj Dhhun Oopajai Dhukh Houmai Vichahu Jaae ||
गुरमुखि सहज धुनि ऊपजै दुखु हउमै विचहु जाइ ॥
The celestial melody wells up in the Gurmukh, and the pains of egotism are taken away.
ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਸਹਜੇ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ॥੨॥
Har Naamaa Har Man Vasai Sehajae Har Gun Gaae ||2||
हरि नामा हरि मनि वसै सहजे हरि गुण गाइ ॥२॥
The Name of the Lord abides in the mind, as one intuitively sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||2||
ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਮੁਖ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰਿ ॥
Guramathee Mukh Sohanae Har Raakhiaa Our Dhhaar ||
गुरमती मुख सोहणे हरि राखिआ उरि धारि ॥
Those who follow the Guru's Teachings - their faces are radiant and beautiful. They keep the Lord enshrined in their hearts.
ਐਥੈ ਓਥੈ ਸੁਖੁ ਘਣਾ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਉਤਰੇ ਪਾਰਿ ॥੩॥
Aithhai Outhhai Sukh Ghanaa Jap Har Har Outharae Paar ||3||
ऐथै ओथै सुखु घणा जपि हरि हरि उतरे पारि ॥३॥
Here and hereafter, they find absolute peace; chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, they are carried across to the other shore. ||3||
