सकयथु जनमु कल्युचरै गुरु परस्यिउ अमर प्रगासु ॥८॥
So speaks KALL: fruitful is the life of one who meets with Guru Amar Daas, radiant with the Light of God. ||8||
ਬਾਰਿਜੁ ਕਰਿ ਦਾਹਿਣੈ ਸਿਧਿ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਮੁਖੁ ਜੋਵੈ ॥
Baarij Kar Dhaahinai Sidhh Sanamukh Mukh Jovai ||
बारिजु करि दाहिणै सिधि सनमुख मुखु जोवै ॥
On His right hand is the sign of the lotus; the Siddhis, the supernatural spiritual powers, await His Command.
ਰਿਧਿ ਬਸੈ ਬਾਂਵਾਂਗਿ ਜੁ ਤੀਨਿ ਲੋਕਾਂਤਰ ਮੋਹੈ ॥
Ridhh Basai Baanvaang J Theen Lokaanthar Mohai ||
रिधि बसै बांवांगि जु तीनि लोकांतर मोहै ॥
On His left are worldly powers, which fascinate the three worlds.
ਰਿਦੈ ਬਸੈ ਅਕਹੀਉ ਸੋਇ ਰਸੁ ਤਿਨ ਹੀ ਜਾਤਉ ॥
Ridhai Basai Akeheeo Soe Ras Thin Hee Jaatho ||
रिदै बसै अकहीउ सोइ रसु तिन ही जातउ ॥
The Inexpressible Lord abides in His Heart; He alone knows this joy.
ਮੁਖਹੁ ਭਗਤਿ ਉਚਰੈ ਅਮਰੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਇਤੁ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤਉ ॥
Mukhahu Bhagath Oucharai Amar Gur Eith Rang Raatho ||
मुखहु भगति उचरै अमरु गुरु इतु रंगि रातउ ॥
Guru Amar Daas utters the words of devotion, imbued with the Love of the Lord.
ਮਸਤਕਿ ਨੀਸਾਣੁ ਸਚਉ ਕਰਮੁ ਕਲ੍ਯ੍ਯ ਜੋੜਿ ਕਰ ਧ੍ਯ੍ਯਾਇਅਉ ॥
Masathak Neesaan Sacho Karam Kaly Jorr Kar Dhhyaaeiao ||
मसतकि नीसाणु सचउ करमु कल्य जोड़ि कर ध्याइअउ ॥
On His forehead is the true insignia of the Lord's Mercy; with his palms pressed together, KALL meditates on Him.
ਪਰਸਿਅਉ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤਿਲਕੁ ਸਰਬ ਇਛ ਤਿਨਿ ਪਾਇਅਉ ॥੯॥
Parasiao Guroo Sathigur Thilak Sarab Eishh Thin Paaeiao ||9||
परसिअउ गुरू सतिगुर तिलकु सरब इछ तिनि पाइअउ ॥९॥
Whoever meets with the Guru, the certified True Guru, has all his desires fulfilled. ||9||

Charan Th Par Sakayathh Charan Gur Amar Paval Ray ||
चरण त पर सकयथ चरण गुर अमर पवलि रय ॥
Supremely fruitful are the feet which walk upon the path of Guru Amar Daas.
ਹਥ ਤ ਪਰ ਸਕਯਥ ਹਥ ਲਗਹਿ ਗੁਰ ਅਮਰ ਪਯ ॥
Hathh Th Par Sakayathh Hathh Lagehi Gur Amar Pay ||
हथ त पर सकयथ हथ लगहि गुर अमर पय ॥
Supremely fruitful are the hands which touch the feet of Guru Amar Daas.
ਜੀਹ ਤ ਪਰ ਸਕਯਥ ਜੀਹ ਗੁਰ ਅਮਰੁ ਭਣਿਜੈ ॥
Jeeh Th Par Sakayathh Jeeh Gur Amar Bhanijai ||
जीह त पर सकयथ जीह गुर अमरु भणिजै ॥
Supremely fruitful is the tongue which utters the praises of Guru Amar Daas.
ਨੈਣ ਤ ਪਰ ਸਕਯਥ ਨਯਣਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਅਮਰੁ ਪਿਖਿਜੈ ॥
Nain Th Par Sakayathh Nayan Gur Amar Pikhijai ||
नैण त पर सकयथ नयणि गुरु अमरु पिखिजै ॥
Supremely fruitful are the eyes which behold Guru Amar Daas.
ਸ੍ਰਵਣ ਤ ਪਰ ਸਕਯਥ ਸ੍ਰਵਣਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਅਮਰੁ ਸੁਣਿਜੈ ॥
Sravan Th Par Sakayathh Sravan Gur Amar Sunijai ||
स्रवण त पर सकयथ स्रवणि गुरु अमरु सुणिजै ॥
Supremely fruitful are the ears which hear the Praises of Guru Amar Daas.
ਸਕਯਥੁ ਸੁ ਹੀਉ ਜਿਤੁ ਹੀਅ ਬਸੈ ਗੁਰ ਅਮਰਦਾਸੁ ਨਿਜ ਜਗਤ ਪਿਤ ॥

सकयथु सु हीउ जितु हीअ बसै गुर अमरदासु निज जगत पित ॥

सकयथु सु सिरु जालपु भणै जु सिरु निवै गुर अमर नित ॥१॥१०॥

ਤਿ ਨਰ ਦੁਖ ਨਹ ਭੁਖ ਤਿ ਨਰ ਨਿਧਨ ਨਹੁ ਕਹੀਅਹਿ ॥
Th Nar Dhukh Neh Bhukh Th Nar Nidhhan Nahu Keheeahi ||
ति नर दुख नह भुख ति नर निधन नहु कहीअहि ॥
They do not suffer pain or hunger, and they cannot be called poor.
ਤਿ ਨਰ ਸੋਕੁ ਨਹੁ ਹੂਐ ਤਿ ਨਰ ਸੇ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਲਹੀਅਹਿ ॥
Th Nar Sok Nahu Huai Th Nar Sae Anth N Leheeahi ||
ति नर सोकु नहु हुऐ ति नर से अंतु न लहीअहि ॥
They do not grieve, and their limits cannot be found.
ਤਿ ਨਰ ਸੇਵ ਨਹੁ ਕਰਹਿ ਤਿ ਨਰ ਸਯ ਸਹਸ ਸਮਪਹਿ ॥
Th Nar Saev Nahu Karehi Th Nar Say Sehas Samapehi ||
ति नर सेव नहु करहि ति नर सय सहस समपहि ॥
They do not serve anyone else, but they give gifts to hundreds and thousands.
ਤਿ ਨਰ ਦੁਲੀਚੈ ਬਹਹਿ ਤਿ ਨਰ ਉਥਪਿ ਬਿਥਪਹਿ ॥
Th Nar Dhuleechai Behehi Th Nar Outhhap Bithhapehi ||
ति नर दुलीचै बहहि ति नर उथपि बिथपहि ॥
They sit on beautiful carpets; they establish and disestablish at will.
ਸੁਖ ਲਹਹਿ ਤਿ ਨਰ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਮਹਿ ਅਭੈ ਪਟੁ ਰਿਪ ਮਧਿ ਤਿਹ ॥
Sukh Lehehi Th Nar Sansaar Mehi Abhai Patt Rip Madhh Thih ||
सुख लहहि ति नर संसार महि अभै पटु रिप मधि तिह ॥
They find peace in this world, and live fearlessly amidst their enemies.
ਸਕਯਥ ਤਿ ਨਰ ਜਾਲਪੁ ਭਣੈ ਗੁਰ ਅਮਰਦਾਸੁ ਸੁਪ੍ਰਸੰਨੁ ਜਿਹ ॥੨॥੧੧॥
Sakayathh Th Nar Jaalap Bhanai Gur Amaradhaas Suprasann Jih ||2||11||
सकयथ ति नर जालपु भणै गुर अमरदासु सुप्रसंनु जिह ॥२॥११॥
They are fruitful and prosperous, says Jaalap. Guru Amar Daas is pleased with them. ||2||11||
ਤੈ ਪਢਿਅਉ ਇਕੁ ਮਨਿ ਧਰਿਅਉ ਇਕੁ ਕਰਿ ਇਕੁ ਪਛਾਣਿਓ ॥
Thai Padtiao Eik Man Dhhariao Eik Kar Eik Pashhaaniou ||
तै पढिअउ इकु मनि धरिअउ इकु करि इकु पछाणिओ ॥
You read about the One Lord, and enshrine Him in Your mind; You realize the One and Only Lord.
ਨਯਣਿ ਬਯਣਿ ਮੁਹਿ ਇਕੁ ਇਕੁ ਦੁਹੁ ਠਾਂਇ ਨ ਜਾਣਿਓ ॥
Nayan Bayan Muhi Eik Eik Dhuhu Thaane N Jaaniou ||
नयणि बयणि मुहि इकु इकु दुहु ठांइ न जाणिओ ॥
With Your eyes and the words You speak, You dwell upon the One Lord; You do not know any other place of rest.
ਸੁਪਨਿ ਇਕੁ ਪਰਤਖਿ ਇਕੁ ਇਕਸ ਮਹਿ ਲੀਣਉ ॥
Supan Eik Parathakh Eik Eikas Mehi Leeno ||
सुपनि इकु परतखि इकु इकस महि लीणउ ॥
You know the One Lord while dreaming, and the One Lord while awake. You are absorbed in the One.
ਤੀਸ ਇਕੁ ਅਰੁ ਪੰਜਿ ਸਿਧੁ ਪੈਤੀਸ ਨ ਖੀਣਉ ॥
Thees Eik Ar Panj Sidhh Paithees N Kheeno ||
तीस इकु अरु पंजि सिधु पैतीस न खीणउ ॥
At the age of seventy-one, You began to march towards the Indestructible Lord.
ਇਕਹੁ ਜਿ ਲਾਖੁ ਲਖਹੁ ਅਲਖੁ ਹੈ ਇਕੁ ਇਕੁ ਕਰਿ ਵਰਨਿਅਉ ॥
Eikahu J Laakh Lakhahu Alakh Hai Eik Eik Kar Varaniao ||
इकहु जि लाखु लखहु अलखु है इकु इकु करि वरनिअउ ॥
The One Lord, who takes hundreds of thousands of forms, cannot be seen. He can only be described as One.
ਗੁਰ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਜਾਲਪੁ ਭਣੈ ਤੂ ਇਕੁ ਲੋੜਹਿ ਇਕੁ ਮੰਨਿਅਉ ॥੩॥੧੨॥
Gur Amaradhaas Jaalap Bhanai Thoo Eik Lorrehi Eik Manniao ||3||12||
गुर अमरदास जालपु भणै तू इकु लोड़हि इकु मंनिअउ ॥३॥१२॥
So speaks Jaalap: O Guru Amar Daas, You long for the One Lord, and believe in the One Lord alone. ||3||12||
ਜਿ ਮਤਿ ਗਹੀ ਜੈਦੇਵਿ ਜਿ ਮਤਿ ਨਾਮੈ ਸੰਮਾਣੀ ॥
J Math Gehee Jaidhaev J Math Naamai Sanmaanee ||
जि मति गही जैदेवि जि मति नामै समाणी ॥
The understanding which Jai Dayv grasped, the understanding which permeated Naam Dayv,
ਜਿ ਮਤਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨ ਚਿਤਿ ਭਗਤ ਕੰਬੀਰਹਿ ਜਾਣੀ ॥
J Math Thrilochan Chith Bhagath Kanbeerehi Jaanee ||
जि मति त्रिलोचन चिति भगत क्मबीरहि जाणी ॥
The understanding which was in the consciousness of Trilochan and known by the devotee Kabeer,
ਰੁਕਮਾਂਗਦ ਕਰਤੂਤਿ ਰਾਮੁ ਜੰਪਹੁ ਨਿਤ ਭਾਈ ॥
Rukamaangadh Karathooth Raam Janpahu Nith Bhaaee ||
रुकमांगद करतूति रामु ज्मपहु नित भाई ॥
By which Rukmaangad constantly meditated on the Lord, O Siblings of Destiny,
ਅੰਮਰੀਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦਿ ਸਰਣਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਗਤਿ ਪਾਈ ॥
Anmareek Prehalaadh Saran Gobindh Gath Paaee ||
अमरीकि प्रहलादि सरणि गोबिंद गति पाई ॥
Which brought Ambreek and Prahlaad to seek the Sanctuary of the Lord of the Universe, and which brought them to salvation
ਤੈ ਲੋਭੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਤਜੀ ਸੁ ਮਤਿ ਜਲ੍ਯ੍ਯ ਜਾਣੀ ਜੁਗਤਿ ॥
Thai Lobh Krodhh Thrisanaa Thajee S Math Jaly Jaanee Jugath ||
तै लोभु क्रोधु त्रिसना तजी सु मति जल्य जाणी जुगति ॥
Says JALL that sublime understanding has brought You to renounce greed, anger and desire, and to know the way.
ਗੁਰੁ ਅਮਰਦਾਸੁ ਨਿਜ ਭਗਤੁ ਹੈ ਦੇਖਿ ਦਰਸੁ ਪਾਵਉ ਮੁਕਤਿ ॥੪॥੧੩॥
Gur Amaradhaas Nij Bhagath Hai Dhaekh Dharas Paavo Mukath ||4||13||
गुरु अमरदासु निज भगतु है देखि दरसु पावउ मुकति ॥४॥१३॥
Guru Amar Daas is the Lord's own devotee; gazing upon the Blessed Vision of His Darshan, one is liberated. ||4||13||
ਗੁਰੁ ਅਮਰਦਾਸੁ ਪਰਸੀਐ ਪੁਹਮਿ ਪਾਤਿਕ ਬਿਨਾਸਹਿ ॥

गुरु अमरदासु परसीऐ पुहमि पातिक बिनासहि ॥
Meeting with Guru Amar Daas, the earth is purged of its sin.
ਗੁਰੁ ਅਮਰਦਾਸੁ ਪਰਸੀਐ ਸਿਧ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਆਸਾਸਹਿ ॥

गुरु अमरदासु परसीऐ सिध साधिक आसासहि ॥
The Siddhas and seekers long to meet with Guru Amar Daas.
ਗੁਰੁ ਅਮਰਦਾਸੁ ਪਰਸੀਐ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਲਹੀਐ ਪਉ ਮੁਕਿਹਿ ॥

गुरु अमरदासु परसीऐ धिआनु लहीऐ पउ मुकिहि ॥
Meeting with Guru Amar Daas, the mortal meditates on the Lord, and his journey comes to its end.
