ਮੋਹਨ ਘਰਿ ਆਵਹੁ ਕਰਉ ਜੋਦਰੀਆ ॥

मोहन घरि आवहु करउ जोदरीआ ॥
O my Fascinating Lord, I pray to You: come into my house.
ਮਾਨੁ ਕਰਉ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੈ ਬੋਲਉ ਭੂਲ ਚੂਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਚਿਰੀਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Maan Karo Abhimaanai Bolo Bhool Chook Thaeree Pria Chireeaa ||1|| Rehaao ||
मानु करउ अभिमानै बोलउ भूल चूक तेरी प्रिअ चिरीआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
I act in pride, and speak in pride. I am mistaken and wrong, but I am still Your hand-maiden, O my Beloved. ||1||Pause||
ਨਿਕਟਿ ਸੁਨਉ ਅਰੁ ਪੇਖਉ ਨਾਹੀ ਭਰਮਿ ਭਰਮਿ ਦੁਖ ਭਰੀਆ ॥
Nikatt Suno Ar Paekho Naahee Bharam Bharam Dhukh Bhareeaa ||
निकटि सुनउ अरु पेखउ नाही भरमि भरमि दुख भरीआ ॥
I hear that You are near, but I cannot see You. I wander in suffering, deluded by doubt.
ਹੋਇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਗੁਰ ਲਾਹਿ ਪਾਰਦੋ ਮਿਲਉ ਲਾਲ ਮਨੁ ਹਰੀਆ ॥੧॥
Hoe Kirapaal Gur Laahi Paaradho Milo Laal Man Hareeaa ||1||
होइ क्रिपाल गुर लाहि पारदो मिलउ लाल मनु हरीआ ॥१॥
The Guru has become merciful to me; He has removed the veils. Meeting with my Beloved, my mind blossoms forth in abundance. ||1||
ਏਕ ਨਿਮਖ ਜੇ ਬਿਸਰੈ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜਾਨਉ ਕੋਟਿ ਦਿਨਸ ਲਖ ਬਰੀਆ ॥
Eaek Nimakh Jae Bisarai Suaamee Jaano Kott Dhinas Lakh Bareeaa ||
एक निमख जे बिसरै सुआमी जानउ कोटि दिनस लख बरीआ ॥
If I were to forget my Lord and Master, even for an instant, it would be like millions of days, tens of thousands of years.

When I joined the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, O Nanak, I met my Lord. ||2||1||24||

ਅਬ ਕਿਆ ਸੋਚਉ ਸੋਚ ਬਿਸਾਰੀ ॥
Ab Kiaa Socho Soch Bisaaree ||
अब किआ सोचउ सोच बिसारी ॥
Now what should I think? I have given up thinking.
ਕਰਣਾ ਸਾ ਸੋਈ ਕਰਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਦੇਹਿ ਨਾਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Karanaa Saa Soee Kar Rehiaa Dhaehi Naao Balihaaree ||1|| Rehaao ||
करणा सा सोई करि रहिआ देहि नाउ बलिहारी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
You do whatever You wish to do. Please bless me with Your Name - I am a sacrifice to You. ||1||Pause||
ਚਹੁ ਦਿਸ ਫੂਲਿ ਰਹੀ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਬਿਖੁ ਗੁਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਮੂਖਿ ਗਰੁੜਾਰੀ ॥
Chahu Dhis Fool Rehee Bikhiaa Bikh Gur Manthra Mookh Garurraaree ||
चहु दिस फूलि रही बिखिआ बिखु गुर मंत्रु मूखि गरुड़ारी ॥
The poison of corruption is flowering forth in the four directions; I have taken the GurMantra as my antidote.
ਹਾਥ ਦੇਇ ਰਾਖਿਓ ਕਰਿ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਜਿਉ ਜਲ ਕਮਲਾ ਅਲਿਪਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
Haathh Dhaee Raakhiou Kar Apunaa Jio Jal Kamalaa Alipaaree ||1||
हाथ देइ राखिओ करि अपुना जिउ जल कमला अलिपारी ॥१॥
Giving me His Hand, He has saved me as His Own; like the lotus in the water, I remain unattached. ||1||
ਹਉ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਮੈ ਕਿਆ ਹੋਸਾ ਸਭ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਕਲ ਧਾਰੀ ॥
Ho Naahee Kishh Mai Kiaa Hosaa Sabh Thum Hee Kal Dhhaaree ||
हउ नाही किछु मै किआ होसा सभ तुम ही कल धारी ॥
I am nothing. What am I? You hold all in Your Power.
ਨਾਨਕ ਭਾਗਿ ਪਰਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਛੈ ਰਾਖੁ ਸੰਤ ਸਦਕਾਰੀ ॥੨॥੨॥੨੫॥

नानक भागि परिओ हरि पाछै राखु संत सदकारी ॥२॥२॥२५॥
Nanak has run to Your Sanctuary, Lord; please save him, for the sake of Your Saints. ||2||2||25||

ਅਬ ਮੋਹਿ ਸਰਬ ਉਪਾਵ ਬਿਰਕਾਤੇ ॥
Ab Mohi Sarab Oupaav Birakaathae ||
अब मोहि सरब उपाव बिरकाते ॥
Now I have abandoned all efforts and devices.
ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਮਰਥ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਏਕਸੁ ਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਗਾਤੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Karan Kaaran Samarathh Suaamee Har Eaekas Thae Maeree Gaathae ||1|| Rehaao ||
करण कारण समरथ सुआमी हरि एकसु ते मेरी गाते ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
My Lord and Master is the All-powerful Creator, the Cause of causes, my only Saving Grace. ||1||Pause||
ਦੇਖੇ ਨਾਨਾ ਰੂਪ ਬਹੁ ਰੰਗਾ ਅਨ ਨਾਹੀ ਤੁਮ ਭਾਂਤੇ ॥
Dhaekhae Naanaa Roop Bahu Rangaa An Naahee Thum Bhaanthae ||
देखे नाना रूप बहु रंगा अन नाही तुम भांते ॥
I have seen numerous forms of incomparable beauty, but nothing is like You.
ਦੇਂਹਿ ਅਧਾਰੁ ਸਰਬ ਕਉ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਜੀਅ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਸੁਖਦਾਤੇ ॥੧॥
Aenehi Adhhaar Sarab Ko Thaakur Jeea Praan Sukhadhaathae ||1||
देंहि अधारु सरब कउ ठाकुर जीअ प्रान सुखदाते ॥१॥
You give Your Support to all, O my Lord and Master; You are the Giver of peace, of the soul and the breath of life. ||1||
ਭ੍ਰਮਤੌ ਭ੍ਰਮਤੌ ਹਾਰਿ ਜਉ ਪਰਿਓ ਤਉ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਚਰਨ ਪਰਾਤੇ ॥
Bhramatha Bhramatha Haar Jo Pariou Tho Gur Mil Charan Paraathae ||
भ्रमतौ भ्रमतौ हारि जउ परिओ तउ गुर मिलि चरन पराते ॥
Wandering, wandering, I grew so tired; meeting the Guru, I fell at His Feet.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਮੈ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਇਹ ਸੂਖਿ ਬਿਹਾਨੀ ਰਾਤੇ ॥੨॥੩॥੨੬॥
Kahu Naanak Mai Sarab Sukh Paaeiaa Eih Sookh Bihaanee Raathae ||2||3||26||
कहु नानक मै सरब सुखु पाइआ इह सूखि बिहानी राते ॥२॥३॥२६॥
Says Nanak, I have found total peace; this life-night of mine passes in peace. ||2||3||26||

ਅਬ ਮੋਹਿ ਲਬਧਿਓ ਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਟੇਕਾ ॥
Ab Mohi Labadhhiou Hai Har Ttaekaa ||
अब मोहि लबधिओ है हरि टेका ॥
Now I have found the Support of my Lord.
ਗੁਰ ਦਇਆਲ ਭਏ ਸੁਖਦਾਈ ਅੰਧੁਲੈ ਮਾਣਿਕੁ ਦੇਖਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Gur Dhaeiaal Bheae Sukhadhaaee Andhhulai Maanik Dhaekhaa ||1|| Rehaao ||
गुर दइआल भए सुखदाई अंधुलै माणिकु देखा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
The Guru, the Giver of peace, has become merciful to me. I was blind - I see the jewel of the Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਕਾਟੇ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਤਿਮਰ ਨਿਰਮਲੀਆ ਬੁਧਿ ਬਿਗਾਸ ਬਿਬੇਕਾ ॥
Kaattae Agiaan Thimar Niramaleeaa Budhh Bigaas Bibaekaa ||
काटे अगिआन तिमर निरमलीआ बुधि बिगास बिबेका ॥
I have cut away the darkness of ignorance and become immaculate; my discriminationg intellect has blossomed forth.
ਜਿਉ ਜਲ ਤਰੰਗ ਫੇਨੁ ਜਲ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਸੇਵਕ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਭਏ ਏਕਾ ॥੧॥
Jio Jal Tharang Faen Jal Hoee Hai Saevak Thaakur Bheae Eaekaa ||1||
जिउ जल तरंग फेनु जल होई है सेवक ठाकुर भए एका ॥१॥
As the waves of water and the foam become water again, the Lord and His servant become One. ||1||
ਜਹ ਤੇ ਉਠਿਓ ਤਹ ਹੀ ਆਇਓ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਏਕੈ ਏਕਾ ॥
Jeh Thae Outhiou Theh Hee Aaeiou Sabh Hee Eaekai Eaekaa ||
जह ते उठिओ तह ही आइओ सभ ही एकै एका ॥
He is taken in again, into what from which he came; all is one in the One Lord.
ਨਾਨਕ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਆਇਓ ਸ੍ਰਬ ਠਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਪਤੀ ਹਰਿ ਸਮਕਾ ॥੨॥੪॥੨੭॥
Naanak Dhrisatt Aaeiou Srab Thaaee Praanapathee Har Samakaa ||2||4||27||
नानक द्रिसटि आइओ स्रब ठाई प्राणपती हरि समका ॥२॥४॥२७॥
O Nanak, I have come to see the Master of the breath of life, all-pervading everywhere. ||2||4||27||

मेरा मनु एकै ही प्रिअ मांगै ॥
My mind longs for the One Beloved Lord.
ਪੇਖਿ ਆਇਓ ਸਰਬ ਥਾਨ ਦੇਸ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਰੋਮ ਨ ਸਮਸਰਿ ਲਾਗੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Paekh Aaeiou Sarab Thhaan Dhaes Pria Rom N Samasar Laagai ||1|| Rehaao ||
पेखि आइओ सरब थान देस प्रिअ रोम न समसरि लागै ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
I have looked everywhere in every country, but nothing equals even a hair of my Beloved. ||1||Pause||
ਮੈ ਨੀਰੇ ਅਨਿਕ ਭੋਜਨ ਬਹੁ ਬਿੰਜਨ ਤਿਨ ਸਿਉ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਨ ਕਰੈ ਰੁਚਾਂਗੈ ॥
Mai Neerae Anik Bhojan Bahu Binjan Thin Sio Dhrisatt N Karai Ruchaangai ||
मै नीरे अनिक भोजन बहु बिंजन तिन सिउ द्रिसटि न करै रुचांगै ॥
All sorts of delicacies and dainties are placed before me, but I do not even want to look at them.
ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਚਾਹੈ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਮੁਖਿ ਟੇਰੈ ਜਿਉ ਅਲਿ ਕਮਲਾ ਲੋਭਾਂਗੈ ॥੧॥
Har Ras Chaahai Pria Pria Mukh Ttaerai Jio Al Kamalaa Lobhaangai ||1||
हरि रसु चाहै प्रिअ प्रिअ मुखि टेरै जिउ अलि कमला लोभांगै ॥१॥
I long for the sublime essence of the Lord, calling, ""Pri-o! Pri-o! - Beloved! Beloved!"", like the Bumble bee longing for the lotus flower. ||1||
