रे मूड़्हे आन काहे कत जाई ॥
You fool: why are you going somewhere else?
ਸੰਗਿ ਮਨੋਹਰੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਹੈ ਰੇ ਭੂਲਿ ਭੂਲਿ ਬਿਖੁ ਖਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Sang Manohar Anmrith Hai Rae Bhool Bhool Bikh Khaaee ||1|| Rehaao ||
संगि मनोहरु अम्रितु है रे भूलि भूलि बिखु खाई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
The Enticing Ambrosial Amrit is with you, but you are deluded, totally deluded, and you eat poison. ||1||Pause||

प्रभ सुंदर चतुर अनूप बिधाते तिस सिउ रुच नही राई ॥
God is Beautiful, Wise and Incomparable; He is the Creator, the Architect of Destiny, but you have no love for Him.
ਮੋਹਨਿ ਸਿਉ ਬਾਵਰ ਮਨੁ ਮੋਹਿਓ ਝੂਠਿ ਠਗਉਰੀ ਪਾਈ ॥੧॥
Mohan Sio Baavar Man Mohiou Jhooth Thagouree Paaee ||1||
मोहनि सिउ बावर मनु मोहिओ झूठि ठगउरी पाई ॥१॥
The mad-man's mind is enticed by Maya, the enticer; he has taken the intoxicating drug of falsehood. ||1||

भइओ दइआलु क्रिपालु दुख हरता संतन सिउ बनि आई ॥
The Destroyer of pain has become kind and compassionate to me, and I am in tune with the Saints.

ओअं प्रिअ प्रीति चीति पहिलरीआ ॥
My consciousness has loved my Beloved God, since the very beginning of time.
ਜੋ ਤਉ ਬਚਨੁ ਦੀਓ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤਉ ਮੈ ਸਾਜ ਸੀਗਰੀਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

Ham Bhooleh Thum Sadhaa Abhoolaa Ham Pathith Thum Pathith Oudhhareeaa ||
हम भूलह तुम सदा अभूला हम पतित तुम पतित उधरीआ ॥
I am mistaken; You are never mistaken. I am a sinner; You are the Saving Grace of sinners.
ਹਮ ਨੀਚ ਬਿਰਖ ਤੁਮ ਮੈਲਾਗਰ ਲਾਜ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਬਸਰੀਆ ॥੧॥
Ham Neech Birakh Thum Mailaagar Laaj Sang Sang Basareeaa ||1||
हम नीच बिरख तुम मैलागर लाज संगि संगि बसरीआ ॥१॥
I am a lowly thorn-tree, and You are the sandalwood tree. Please preserve my honor by staying with me; please stay with me. ||1||

Thum Ganbheer Dhheer Oupakaaree Ham Kiaa Bapurae Janthareeaa ||
तुम ग्मभीर धीर उपकारी हम किआ बपुरे जंतरीआ ॥
You are deep and profound, calm and benevolent. What am I? Just a poor helpless being.

O my mind, blessed and approved is that day,
ਸਫਲ ਤੇ ਘਰੀ ਸੰਜੋਗ ਸੁਹਾਵੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੰਗਿ ਗਿਆਨਾਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Safal Thae Gharee Sanjog Suhaavae Sathigur Sang Giaanaan ||1|| Rehaao ||
सफल ते घरी संजोग सुहावे सतिगुर संगि गिआनां ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
And fruitful is that hour, and lucky is that moment, when the True Guru blesses me with spirtual wisdom. ||1||Pause||
ਧੰਨਿ ਸੁਭਾਗ ਧੰਨਿ ਸੋਹਾਗਾ ਧੰਨਿ ਦੇਤ ਜਿਨਿ ਮਾਨਾਂ ॥
Dhhann Subhaag Dhhann Sohaagaa Dhhann Dhaeth Jin Maanaan ||
धंनि सुभाग धंनि सोहागा धंनि देत जिनि मानां ॥
Blessed is my good destiny, and blessed is my Husband Lord. Blessed are those upon whom honor is bestowed.
ਇਹੁ ਤਨੁ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਰਾ ਸਭੁ ਗ੍ਰਿਹੁ ਧਨੁ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਰਾ ਹੀਂਉ ਕੀਓ ਕੁਰਬਾਨਾਂ ॥੧॥
Eihu Than Thumharaa Sabh Grihu Dhhan Thumaraa Heeno Keeou Kurabaanaan ||1||
इहु तनु तुम्हरा सभु ग्रिहु धनु तुम्हरा हींउ कीओ कुरबानां ॥१॥
This body is Yours, all my home and wealth are Yours; I offer my heart as a sacrifice to You. ||1||
ਕੋਟਿ ਲਾਖ ਰਾਜ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਏ ਇਕ ਨਿਮਖ ਪੇਖਿ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਾਨਾਂ ॥
Kott Laakh Raaj Sukh Paaeae Eik Nimakh Paekh Dhrisattaanaan ||
कोटि लाख राज सुख पाए इक निमख पेखि द्रिसटानां ॥
I obtain tens of thousands and millions of regal pleasures, if I gaze upon Your Blessed Vision, even for an instant.

Jo Kehahu Mukhahu Saevak Eih Baiseeai Sukh Naanak Anth N Jaanaan ||2||23||46||
जउ कहहु मुखहु सेवक इह बैसीऐ सुख नानक अंतु न जानां ॥२॥२३॥४६॥
When You, O God, say, ""My servant, stay here with me"", Nanak knows unlimited peace. ||2||23||46||

Now I am rid of my skepticism and sorrow.
ਅਉਰ ਉਪਾਵ ਸਗਲ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਛੋਡੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਰਣਿ ਪਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Aour Oupaav Sagal Thiaag Shhoddae Sathigur Saran Paeiaa ||1|| Rehaao ||
अउर उपाव सगल तिआगि छोडे सतिगुर सरणि पइआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
I have abandoned and forsaken all other efforts, and come to the Sanctuary of the True Guru. ||1||Pause||
ਸਰਬ ਸਿਧਿ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਭਿ ਸਵਰੇ ਅਹੰ ਰੋਗ ਸਗਲ ਹੀ ਖਇਆ ॥
Sarab Sidhh Kaaraj Sabh Savarae Ahan Rog Sagal Hee Khaeiaa ||
सरब सिधि कारज सभि सवरे अहं रोग सगल ही खइआ ॥
I have attained total perfection, and all my works are perfectly completed; the illness of egotism has been totally eradicated.
ਕੋਟਿ ਪਰਾਧ ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਖਉ ਭਈ ਹੈ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਹਿਆ ॥੧॥
Kott Paraadhh Khin Mehi Kho Bhee Hai Gur Mil Har Har Kehiaa ||1||
कोटि पराध खिन महि खउ भई है गुर मिलि हरि हरि कहिआ ॥१॥
Millions of sins are destroyed in an instant; meeting with the Guru, I chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||
ਪੰਚ ਦਾਸ ਗੁਰਿ ਵਸਗਤਿ ਕੀਨੇ ਮਨ ਨਿਹਚਲ ਨਿਰਭਇਆ ॥
Panch Dhaas Gur Vasagath Keenae Man Nihachal Nirabhaeiaa ||
पंच दास गुरि वसगति कीने मन निहचल निरभइआ ॥
Subduing the five thieves, he Guru has made them my slaves; my mind has become stable and steady and fearless.
ਆਇ ਨ ਜਾਵੈ ਨ ਕਤ ਹੀ ਡੋਲੈ ਥਿਰੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਰਾਜਇਆ ॥੨॥੨੪॥੪੭॥
Aae N Jaavai N Kath Hee Ddolai Thhir Naanak Raajaeiaa ||2||24||47||
आइ न जावै न कत ही डोलै थिरु नानक राजइआ ॥२॥२४॥४७॥
It does not come or go in reincarnation; it does not waver or wander anywhere. O Nanak, my empire is eternal. ||2||24||47||

ਮਨਮੋਹਨੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਜੀਅ ਕੋ ਪਿਆਰੋ ਕਵਨ ਕਹਾ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Manamohan Maerae Jeea Ko Piaaro Kavan Kehaa Gun Gaaee ||1|| Rehaao ||
मनमोहनु मेरे जीअ को पिआरो कवन कहा गुन गाई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
He is the Enticer of my mind, the Beloved of my soul. What Glorious Praises of His can I sing and chant? ||1||Pause||
ਖੇਲਿ ਖਿਲਾਇ ਲਾਡ ਲਾਡਾਵੈ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਅਨਦਾਈ ॥
Khael Khilaae Laadd Laaddaavai Sadhaa Sadhaa Anadhaaee ||
खेलि खिलाइ लाड लाडावै सदा सदा अनदाई ॥
He plays with me, He fondles and caresses me. Forever and ever, He blesses me with bliss.
ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲੈ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਕੀ ਨਿਆਈ ਜੈਸੇ ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾਈ ॥੧॥
Prathipaalai Baarik Kee Niaaee Jaisae Maath Pithaaee ||1||
प्रतिपालै बारिक की निआई जैसे मात पिताई ॥१॥
He cherishes me, like the father and the mother love their child. ||1||
ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਿਮਖ ਨਹੀ ਰਹਿ ਸਕੀਐ ਬਿਸਰਿ ਨ ਕਬਹੂ ਜਾਈ ॥
This Bin Nimakh Nehee Rehi Sakeeai Bisar N Kabehoo Jaaee ||
तिसु बिनु निमख नही रहि सकीऐ बिसरि न कबहू जाई ॥
I cannot survive without Him, even for an instant; I shall never forget Him.
