एक द्रिस्टि हरि एको जाता हरि आतम रामु पछाणी ॥
I see the One Lord, and I know the One Lord; I realize Him within my soul.

तिन चरण तिन चरण सरेवह हम लागह तिन कै पाए राम ॥
Their feet, their feet, I adore; I fall at their feet.

हरि हरि चरण सरेवह तिन के जिन सतिगुरु पुरखु प्रभु ध्याइआ ॥

तू वडदाता अंतरजामी मेरी सरधा पूरि हरि राइआ ॥
You are the Greatest Giver, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts; please, reward my faith, O Lord King.
ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਮੇਲਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਰਧਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ॥
Gurasikh Mael Maeree Saradhhaa Pooree Anadhin Raam Gun Gaaeae ||
गुरसिख मेलि मेरी सरधा पूरी अनदिनु राम गुण गाए ॥
Meeting the Gursikh, my faith is rewarded; night and day, I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.

Har Naamo Har Naam Sunaaeae Maeraa Preetham Naam Adhhaarae Raam ||
हरि नामो हरि नामु सुणाए मेरा प्रीतमु नामु अधारे राम ॥
They chant the Lord's Name, the Lord's Name; the Beloved Naam, the Name of the Lord, is my only Support.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਸਖਾਈ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਘੜੀ ਨਿਮਖ ਨਹੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ॥
Har Har Naam Maeraa Praan Sakhaaee This Bin Gharree Nimakh Nehee Jeevaan ||
हरि हरि नामु मेरा प्रान सखाई तिसु बिनु घड़ी निमख नही जीवां ॥
The Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is the companion of my breath of life; without it, I cannot live for an instant or a moment.

हरि हरि क्रिपा करे सुखदाता गुरमुखि अम्रितु पीवां ॥
The Lord, Har, Har, the Giver of peace, shows His Mercy, and the Gurmukh drinks in the Ambrosial Nectar.

हरि आपे सरधा लाइ मिलाए हरि आपे आपि सवारे ॥
The Lord blesses him with faith, and unites him in His Union; He Himself adorns him.

हरि आपे हरि आपे मेलै करै सो होई राम ॥
The Lord Himself, the Lord Himself, unites us with Himself; that which He does, comes to pass.
ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋਈ ਹੋਵੈ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕਰਣਾ ਜਾਈ ॥
Jo Har Prabh Bhaavai Soee Hovai Avar N Karanaa Jaaee ||
जो हरि प्रभ भावै सोई होवै अवरु न करणा जाई ॥
Whatever is pleasing to the Lord God, that alone comes to pass; nothing else can be done.
ਬਹੁਤੁ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਲਇਆ ਨ ਜਾਈ ਕਰਿ ਥਾਕੇ ਸਭਿ ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ॥
Bahuth Siaanap Laeiaa N Jaaee Kar Thhaakae Sabh Chathuraaee ||
बहुतु सिआणप लइआ न जाई करि थाके सभि चतुराई ॥
Even by very clever tricks, He cannot be obtained; all have grown weary of practicing cleverness.
ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥
Gur Prasaadh Jan Naanak Dhaekhiaa Mai Har Bin Avar N Koee ||
गुर प्रसादि जन नानक देखिआ मै हरि बिनु अवरु न कोई ॥
By Guru's Grace, servant Nanak beholds the Lord; without the Lord, I have no other at all.

तिमर अगिआनु गवाइआ गुर गिआनु अंजनु गुरि पाइआ राम ॥
The darkness of my ignorance was dispelled, when the Guru applied the healing ointment of spiritual wisdom to my eyes.
ਗੁਰ ਗਿਆਨ ਅੰਜਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਇਆ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਅੰਧੇਰ ਬਿਨਾਸੇ ॥
Gur Giaan Anjan Sathiguroo Paaeiaa Agiaan Andhhaer Binaasae ||
गुर गिआन अंजनु सतिगुरू पाइआ अगिआन अंधेर बिनासे ॥
The True Guru has applied the healing ointment of spiritual wisdom to my eyes, and the darkness of ignorance has been dispelled.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੇਵਿ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਆ ਸਾਸ ਗਿਰਾਸੇ ॥
Sathigur Saev Param Padh Paaeiaa Har Japiaa Saas Giraasae ||
सतिगुर सेवि परम पदु पाइआ हरि जपिआ सास गिरासे ॥
Serving the Guru, I have obtained the supreme status; I meditate on the Lord with every breath, and every morsel of food.

He gives me the Name of the Lord, the Name of the Lord, my only companion in the end.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਅੰਤਿ ਸਖਾਈ ਗੁਰਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਇਆ ॥
Har Har Naam Maeraa Anth Sakhaaee Gur Sathigur Naam Dhrirraaeiaa ||
हरि हरि नामु मेरा अंति सखाई गुरि सतिगुरि नामु द्रिड़ाइआ ॥
The Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is my only companion in the end; the Guru, the True Guru, has implanted the Naam, the Name of the Lord, within me.
ਜਿਥੈ ਪੁਤੁ ਕਲਤ੍ਰੁ ਕੋਈ ਬੇਲੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਤਿਥੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਛਡਾਇਆ ॥
Jithhai Puth Kalathra Koee Baelee Naahee Thithhai Har Har Naam Shhaddaaeiaa ||
जिथै पुतु कलत्रु कोई बेली नाही तिथै हरि हरि नामि छडाइआ ॥
There, where neither child nor spouse shall accompany you, the Name of the Lord, Har, Har shall emancipate you.
