तउ भाणा तां त्रिपति अघाए राम ॥
When it pleases You, then I am satisfied and satiated.
ਮਨੁ ਥੀਆ ਠੰਢਾ ਸਭ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਬੁਝਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥
Man Thheeaa Thandtaa Sabh Thrisan Bujhaaeae Raam ||
मनु थीआ ठंढा सभ त्रिसन बुझाए राम ॥
My mind is soothed and calmed, and all my thirst is quenched.
ਮਨੁ ਥੀਆ ਠੰਢਾ ਚੂਕੀ ਡੰਝਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਖਜਾਨਾ ॥
Man Thheeaa Thandtaa Chookee Ddanjhaa Paaeiaa Bahuth Khajaanaa ||
मनु थीआ ठंढा चूकी डंझा पाइआ बहुतु खजाना ॥
My mind is soothed and calmed, the burning has ceased, and I have found so many treasures.
ਸਿਖ ਸੇਵਕ ਸਭਿ ਭੁੰਚਣ ਲਗੇ ਹੰਉ ਸਤਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਕੁਰਬਾਨਾ ॥
Sikh Saevak Sabh Bhunchan Lagae Hano Sathagur Kai Kurabaanaa ||
सिख सेवक सभि भुंचण लगे हंउ सतगुर कै कुरबाना ॥
All the Sikhs and servants partake of them; I am a sacrifice to my True Guru.
ਨਿਰਭਉ ਭਏ ਖਸਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਬੁਝਾਏ ॥
Nirabho Bheae Khasam Rang Raathae Jam Kee Thraas Bujhaaeae ||
निरभउ भए खसम रंगि राते जम की त्रास बुझाए ॥
I have become fearless, imbued with the Love of my Lord Master, and I have shaken off the fear of death.

ਮੋਹਿ ਨਿਰਗੁਣ ਜੀਉ ਸਭਿ ਗੁਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
Mohi Niragun Jeeo Sabh Gun Thaerae Raam ||
मोहि निरगुण जीउ सभि गुण तेरे राम ॥
I am worthless, without virtue; all virtues are Yours, O Lord.
ਸਭਿ ਗੁਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਿਤੁ ਮੁਖਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ॥
Sabh Gun Thaerae Thaakur Maerae Kith Mukh Thudhh Saalaahee ||
सभि गुण तेरे ठाकुर मेरे कितु मुखि तुधु सालाही ॥
All virtues are Yours, O my Lord and Master; with what mouth should I praise You?
ਗੁਣੁ ਅਵਗੁਣੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਿਛੁ ਨ ਬੀਚਾਰਿਆ ਬਖਸਿ ਲੀਆ ਖਿਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
Gun Avagun Maeraa Kishh N Beechaariaa Bakhas Leeaa Khin Maahee ||
गुणु अवगुणु मेरा किछु न बीचारिआ बखसि लीआ खिन माही ॥
You did not consider my merits and demerits; you forgave me in an instant.
ਨਉ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਈ ਵਜੀ ਵਾਧਾਈ ਵਾਜੇ ਅਨਹਦ ਤੂਰੇ ॥
No Nidhh Paaee Vajee Vaadhhaaee Vaajae Anehadh Thoorae ||
नउ निधि पाई वजी वाधाई वाजे अनहद तूरे ॥
I have obtained the nine treasures, congratulations are pouring in, and the unstruck melody resounds.

किआ सुणेदो कूड़ु वंञनि पवण झुलारिआ ॥
Why do you listen to falsehood? It shall vanish like a gust of wind.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਣੀਅਰ ਤੇ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ਜੋ ਸੁਣੇਦੇ ਸਚੁ ਧਣੀ ॥੧॥

तिन घोलि घुमाई जिन प्रभु स्रवणी सुणिआ राम ॥
I am a sacrifice to those who listen with their ears to the Lord God.
ਸੇ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਹੇਲੇ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਸਨਾ ਭਣਿਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
Sae Sehaj Suhaelae Jin Har Har Rasanaa Bhaniaa Raam ||
से सहजि सुहेले जिन हरि हरि रसना भणिआ राम ॥
Blissful and comfortable are those, who with their tongues chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਸੇ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਹੇਲੇ ਗੁਣਹ ਅਮੋਲੇ ਜਗਤ ਉਧਾਰਣ ਆਏ ॥
Sae Sehaj Suhaelae Guneh Amolae Jagath Oudhhaaran Aaeae ||
से सहजि सुहेले गुणह अमोले जगत उधारण आए ॥
They are naturally embellished, with priceless virtues; they have come to save the world.
ਭੈ ਬੋਹਿਥ ਸਾਗਰ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਚਰਣਾ ਕੇਤੇ ਪਾਰਿ ਲਘਾਏ ॥
Bhai Bohithh Saagar Prabh Charanaa Kaethae Paar Laghaaeae ||
भै बोहिथ सागर प्रभ चरणा केते पारि लघाए ॥
God's Feet are the boat, which carries so many across the terrifying world-ocean.
ਜਿਨ ਕੰਉ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੀ ਮੇਰੈ ਠਾਕੁਰਿ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਨ ਗਣਿਆ ॥
Jin Kano Kirapaa Karee Maerai Thaakur Thin Kaa Laekhaa N Ganiaa ||
जिन कंउ क्रिपा करी मेरै ठाकुरि तिन का लेखा न गणिआ ॥
Those who are blessed with the favor of my Lord and Master, are not asked to render their account.

लोइण लोई डिठ पिआस न बुझै मू घणी ॥
With my eyes, I have seen the Light of the Lord, but my great thirst is not quenched.

I am a sacrifice to those who have seen the Lord God.
ਸੇ ਸਾਚੀ ਦਰਗਹ ਭਾਣੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
Sae Saachee Dharageh Bhaanae Raam ||
से साची दरगह भाणे राम ॥
In the True Court of the Lord, they are approved.
ਠਾਕੁਰਿ ਮਾਨੇ ਸੇ ਪਰਧਾਨੇ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ॥
Thaakur Maanae Sae Paradhhaanae Har Saethee Rang Raathae ||
ठाकुरि माने से परधाने हरि सेती रंगि राते ॥
They are approved by their Lord and Master, and acclaimed as supreme; they are imbued with the Lord's Love.
ਹਰਿ ਰਸਹਿ ਅਘਾਏ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਏ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਮਈਆ ਜਾਤੇ ॥
Har Rasehi Aghaaeae Sehaj Samaaeae Ghatt Ghatt Rameeaa Jaathae ||
हरि रसहि अघाए सहजि समाए घटि घटि रमईआ जाते ॥
They are satiated with the sublime essence of the Lord, and they merge in celestial peace; in each and every heart, they see the all-pervading Lord.
ਸੇਈ ਸਜਣ ਸੰਤ ਸੇ ਸੁਖੀਏ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਅਪਣੇ ਭਾਣੇ ॥
Saeee Sajan Santh Sae Sukheeeae Thaakur Apanae Bhaanae ||
सेई सजण संत से सुखीए ठाकुर अपणे भाणे ॥
They alone are the friendly Saints, and they alone are happy, who are pleasing to their Lord and Master.

देह अंधारी अंध सुंञी नाम विहूणीआ ॥
The body is blind, totally blind and desolate, without the Naam.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਫਲ ਜਨੰਮੁ ਜੈ ਘਟਿ ਵੁਠਾ ਸਚੁ ਧਣੀ ॥੧॥
Naanak Safal Jananm Jai Ghatt Vuthaa Sach Dhhanee ||1||
नानक सफल जनमु जै घटि वुठा सचु धणी ॥१॥
O Nanak, fruitful is the life of that being, within whose heart the True Lord and Master abides. ||1||

तिन खंनीऐ वंञां जिन मेरा हरि प्रभु डीठा राम ॥
I am cut into pieces as a sacrifice, to those who have seen my Lord God.
ਜਨ ਚਾਖਿ ਅਘਾਣੇ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਮੀਠਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
Jan Chaakh Aghaanae Har Har Anmrith Meethaa Raam ||
जन चाखि अघाणे हरि हरि अम्रितु मीठा राम ॥
His humble servants partake of the Sweet Ambrosial Nectar of the Lord, Har, Har, and are satiated.
ਹਰਿ ਮਨਹਿ ਮੀਠਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੂਠਾ ਅਮਿਉ ਵੂਠਾ ਸੁਖ ਭਏ ॥
Har Manehi Meethaa Prabhoo Thoothaa Amio Voothaa Sukh Bheae ||
हरि मनहि मीठा प्रभू तूठा अमिउ वूठा सुख भए ॥
The Lord seems sweet to their minds; God is merciful to them, His Ambrosial Nectar rains down upon them, and they are at peace.
ਦੁਖ ਨਾਸ ਭਰਮ ਬਿਨਾਸ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਜਪਿ ਜਗਦੀਸ ਈਸਹ ਜੈ ਜਏ ॥
Dhukh Naas Bharam Binaas Than Thae Jap Jagadhees Eeseh Jai Jeae ||
दुख नास भरम बिनास तन ते जपि जगदीस ईसह जै जए ॥
Pain is eliminated and doubt is dispelled from the body; chanting the Name of the Lord of the World, their victory is celebrated.
ਮੋਹ ਰਹਤ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਥਾਕੇ ਪੰਚ ਤੇ ਸੰਗੁ ਤੂਟਾ ॥
Moh Rehath Bikaar Thhaakae Panch Thae Sang Thoottaa ||
मोह रहत बिकार थाके पंच ते संगु तूटा ॥
They are rid of emotional attachment, their sins are erased, and their association with the five passions is broken off.
