Saadhhoo Dhhoor Laaee Mukh Masathak Kaam Krodhh Bikh Jaaro ||
साधू धूरि लाई मुखि मसतकि काम क्रोध बिखु जारउ ॥
Applying the dust of the feet of the Holy to my face and forehead, I burn away the poison of sexual desire and anger.
ਸਭ ਤੇ ਨੀਚੁ ਆਤਮ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨਉ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਇਹੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਧਾਰਉ ॥੧॥

सभ ते नीचु आतम करि मानउ मन महि इहु सुखु धारउ ॥१॥
I judge myself to be the lowest of all; in this way, I instill peace within my mind. ||1||

आदि जुगादि भगत जन सेवक ता की बिखै अधारा ॥
Since the very beginning, and throughout the ages, the humble devotees have been Your servants; in the midst of the world of corruption, You are their Support.

Baithath Har Har Sovath Har Har Har Ras Bhojan Khaathaa ||
बैठत हरि हरि सोवत हरि हरि हरि रसु भोजनु खाता ॥
While sitting, he repeats the Lord's Name, Har, Har; while sleeping, he repeats the Lord's Name, Har, Har; he eats the Nectar of the Lord's Name as his food.
ਅਠਸਠਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਮਜਨੁ ਕੀਨੋ ਸਾਧੂ ਧੂਰੀ ਨਾਤਾ ॥੧॥
Athasath Theerathh Majan Keeno Saadhhoo Dhhooree Naathaa ||1||
अठसठि तीरथ मजनु कीनो साधू धूरी नाता ॥१॥
Bathing in the dust of the feet of the Holy is equal to taking cleansing baths at the sixty-eight sacred shrines of pilgrimage. ||1||
ਸਫਲੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਕਾ ਉਪਜਿਆ ਜਿਨਿ ਕੀਨੋ ਸਉਤੁ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ॥
Safal Janam Har Jan Kaa Oupajiaa Jin Keeno South Bidhhaathaa ||
सफलु जनमु हरि जन का उपजिआ जिनि कीनो सउतु बिधाता ॥
How fruitful is the birth of the Lord's humble servant; the Creator is his Father.

अनिक प्रकार फिरत बिललाते मिलत नही गोसाईऐ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
They wander around, weeping and crying out in various ways, but the Lord of the World does not meet them. ||1||Pause||

Moh Rog Sog Than Baadhhiou Bahu Jonee Bharamaaeeai ||
मोह रोग सोग तनु बाधिओ बहु जोनी भरमाईऐ ॥
The body is tied up with emotional attachment, disease and sorrow, and so it is lured into countless reincarnations.
ਟਿਕਨੁ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਕਿਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਜਾਇ ਰੂਆਈਐ ॥੧॥

टिकनु न पावै बिनु सतसंगति किसु आगै जाइ रूआईऐ ॥१॥
He finds no place of rest without the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; to whom should he go and cry? ||1||

संकट घोर कटे खिन भीतरि नानक हरि दरसि समाईऐ ॥२॥२२॥
The most horrible agonies are dispelled in an instant, O Nanak, and we merge in the Blessed Vision of the Lord. ||2||22||

दुइ कर जोड़ि करी बेनंती पारब्रहमु मनि धिआइआ ॥
With my palms pressed together, I offer my prayer; within my mind, I meditate on the Supreme Lord God.
ਹਾਥੁ ਦੇਇ ਰਾਖੇ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰਿ ਸਗਲਾ ਦੁਰਤੁ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
Haathh Dhaee Raakhae Paramaesur Sagalaa Dhurath Mittaaeiaa ||1||
हाथु देइ राखे परमेसुरि सगला दुरतु मिटाइआ ॥१॥
Giving me His hand, the Transcendent Lord has eradicated all my sins. ||1||
ਵਰ ਨਾਰੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਇਆ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕਾ ਜੈਕਾਰੁ ॥

वर नारी मिलि मंगलु गाइआ ठाकुर का जैकारु ॥
Husband and wife join together in rejoicing, celebrating the Victory of the Lord Master.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈਐ ਜੋ ਸਭਨਾ ਕਰੇ ਉਧਾਰੁ ॥੨॥੨੩॥
