Sankatt Nehee Parai Jon Nehee Aavai Naam Niranjan Jaa Ko Rae ||
संकटि नही परै जोनि नही आवै नामु निरंजन जा को रे ॥
He does not fall into misfortune, and He does not take birth; His Name is the Immaculate Lord.

नामु पदारथु मनहि बसाईऐ ॥
The wealth of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, abides within my mind.
ਰਿਦੈ ਸੁਧ ਜਉ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਹੋਇ ॥

रिदै सुध जउ निंदा होइ ॥
If my heart is pure, and I am slandered,
ਹਮਰੇ ਕਪਰੇ ਨਿੰਦਕੁ ਧੋਇ ॥੧॥
Hamarae Kaparae Nindhak Dhhoe ||1||
हमरे कपरे निंदकु धोइ ॥१॥
Then the slanderer washes my clothes. ||1||
ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰੈ ਸੁ ਹਮਰਾ ਮੀਤੁ ॥

निंदा करै सु हमरा मीतु ॥
One who slanders me is my friend;
ਨਿੰਦਕ ਮਾਹਿ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਚੀਤੁ ॥
Nindhak Maahi Hamaaraa Cheeth ||
निंदक माहि हमारा चीतु ॥
The slanderer is in my thoughts.
ਨਿੰਦਕੁ ਸੋ ਜੋ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਹੋਰੈ ॥
Nindhak So Jo Nindhaa Horai ||
निंदकु सो जो निंदा होरै ॥
The slanderer is the one who prevents me from being slandered.
ਹਮਰਾ ਜੀਵਨੁ ਨਿੰਦਕੁ ਲੋਰੈ ॥੨॥
Hamaraa Jeevan Nindhak Lorai ||2||
हमरा जीवनु निंदकु लोरै ॥२॥
The slanderer wishes me long life. ||2||

निंदा हमरी प्रेम पिआरु ॥
I have love and affection for the slanderer.

Slander is my salvation.

Jab Ham Hothae Thab Thum Naahee Ab Thum Hahu Ham Naahee ||
जब हम होते तब तुम नाही अब तुम हहु हम नाही ॥
When I was, then You were not; now that You are, I am not.
ਅਬ ਹਮ ਤੁਮ ਏਕ ਭਏ ਹਹਿ ਏਕੈ ਦੇਖਤ ਮਨੁ ਪਤੀਆਹੀ ॥੧॥
Ab Ham Thum Eaek Bheae Hehi Eaekai Dhaekhath Man Patheeaahee ||1||
अब हम तुम एक भए हहि एकै देखत मनु पतीआही ॥१॥
Now, You and I have become one; seeing this, my mind is content. ||1||
ਜਬ ਬੁਧਿ ਹੋਤੀ ਤਬ ਬਲੁ ਕੈਸਾ ਅਬ ਬੁਧਿ ਬਲੁ ਨ ਖਟਾਈ ॥
Jab Budhh Hothee Thab Bal Kaisaa Ab Budhh Bal N Khattaaee ||
जब बुधि होती तब बलु कैसा अब बुधि बलु न खटाई ॥
When there was wisdom, how could there be strength? Now that there is wisdom, strength cannot prevail.

He fashioned the body chamber with six rings, and placed within it the incomparable thing.

कुंजी कुलफु प्रान करि राखे करते बार न लाई ॥१॥
He made the breath of life the watchman, with lock and key to protect it; the Creator did this in no time at all. ||1||

अब मन जागत रहु रे भाई ॥

पंच पहरूआ दर महि रहते तिन का नही पतीआरा ॥
The five senses stand as guards at the gate, but now can they be trusted?
ਚੇਤਿ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਚਿਤ ਹੋਇ ਰਹੁ ਤਉ ਲੈ ਪਰਗਾਸੁ ਉਜਾਰਾ ॥੨॥
Chaeth Suchaeth Chith Hoe Rahu Tho Lai Paragaas Oujaaraa ||2||
चेति सुचेत चित होइ रहु तउ लै परगासु उजारा ॥२॥
When you are conscious in your consciousness, you shall be enlightened and illuminated. ||2||
ਨਉ ਘਰ ਦੇਖਿ ਜੁ ਕਾਮਨਿ ਭੂਲੀ ਬਸਤੁ ਅਨੂਪ ਨ ਪਾਈ ॥
No Ghar Dhaekh J Kaaman Bhoolee Basath Anoop N Paaee ||
नउ घर देखि जु कामनि भूली बसतु अनूप न पाई ॥
Seeing the nine openings of the body, the soul-bride is led astray; she does not obtain that incomparable thing.
ਕਹਤੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਨਵੈ ਘਰ ਮੂਸੇ ਦਸਵੈਂ ਤਤੁ ਸਮਾਈ ॥੩॥੨੨॥੭੩॥

सिव सनकादि जासु गुन गावहि तासु बसहि मोरे प्रानानां ॥ रहाउ ॥
My breath of life resides in Him, whose praises are sung by Shiva and Sanak and so many others. ||Pause||

Hiradhae Pragaas Giaan Gur Ganmith Gagan Manddal Mehi Dhhiaanaanaan ||
हिरदे प्रगासु गिआन गुर गमित गगन मंडल महि धिआनानां ॥
My heart is illuminated by spiritual wisdom; meeting the Guru, I meditate in the Sky of the Tenth Gate.
ਬਿਖੈ ਰੋਗ ਭੈ ਬੰਧਨ ਭਾਗੇ ਮਨ ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਜਾਨਾਨਾ ॥੧॥
Bikhai Rog Bhai Bandhhan Bhaagae Man Nij Ghar Sukh Jaanaanaa ||1||
बिखै रोग भै बंधन भागे मन निज घरि सुखु जानाना ॥१॥
The diseases of corruption, fear and bondage have run away; my mind has come to know peace in its own true home. ||1||
ਏਕ ਸੁਮਤਿ ਰਤਿ ਜਾਨਿ ਮਾਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦੂਸਰ ਮਨਹਿ ਨ ਆਨਾਨਾ ॥
Eaek Sumath Rath Jaan Maan Prabh Dhoosar Manehi N Aanaanaa ||
एक सुमति रति जानि मानि प्रभ दूसर मनहि न आनाना ॥
Imbued with a balanced single-mindedness, I know and obey God; nothing else enters my mind.
ਚੰਦਨ ਬਾਸੁ ਭਏ ਮਨ ਬਾਸਨ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਘਟਿਓ ਅਭਿਮਾਨਾਨਾ ॥੨॥
Chandhan Baas Bheae Man Baasan Thiaag Ghattiou Abhimaanaanaa ||2||
चंदन बासु भए मन बासन तिआगि घटिओ अभिमानाना ॥२॥
My mind has become fragrant with the scent of sandalwood; I have renounced egotistical selfishness and conceit. ||2||
ਜੋ ਜਨ ਗਾਇ ਧਿਆਇ ਜਸੁ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਤਾਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੈ ਥਾਨਾਨਾਂ ॥
Jo Jan Gaae Dhhiaae Jas Thaakur Thaas Prabhoo Hai Thhaanaanaan ||
जो जन गाइ धिआइ जसु ठाकुर तासु प्रभू है थानानां ॥
That humble being, who sings and meditates on the Praises of his Lord and Master, is the dwelling-place of God.
ਤਿਹ ਬਡ ਭਾਗ ਬਸਿਓ ਮਨਿ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਕਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮਥਾਨਾਨਾ ॥੩॥
Thih Badd Bhaag Basiou Man Jaa Kai Karam Pradhhaan Mathhaanaanaa ||3||
तिह बड भाग बसिओ मनि जा कै करम प्रधान मथानाना ॥३॥
He is blessed with great good fortune; the Lord abides in his mind. Good karma radiates from his forehead. ||3||
ਕਾਟਿ ਸਕਤਿ ਸਿਵ ਸਹਜੁ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸਿਓ ਏਕੈ ਏਕ ਸਮਾਨਾਨਾ ॥
Kaatt Sakath Siv Sehaj Pragaasiou Eaekai Eaek Samaanaanaa ||
काटि सकति सिव सहजु प्रगासिओ एकै एक समानाना ॥
I have broken the bonds of Maya; the intuitive peace and poise of Shiva has dawned within me, and I am merged in oneness with the One.
