You shall live throughout the ages, eating the fruit of immortality. ||10||

दसमी दह दिस होइ अनंद ॥
On the tenth day of the lunar cycle, there is ecstasy in all directions.
ਛੂਟੈ ਭਰਮੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ॥
Shhoottai Bharam Milai Gobindh ||
छूटै भरमु मिलै गोबिंद ॥
Doubt is dispelled, and the Lord of the Universe is met.
ਜੋਤਿ ਸਰੂਪੀ ਤਤ ਅਨੂਪ ॥
Joth Saroopee Thath Anoop ||
जोति सरूपी तत अनूप ॥
He is the Embodiment of light, the incomparable essence.
ਅਮਲ ਨ ਮਲ ਨ ਛਾਹ ਨਹੀ ਧੂਪ ॥੧੧॥
Amal N Mal N Shhaah Nehee Dhhoop ||11||
अमल न मल न छाह नही धूप ॥११॥
He is stainless, without stain, beyond both sunshine and shade. ||11||
ਏਕਾਦਸੀ ਏਕ ਦਿਸ ਧਾਵੈ ॥
Eaekaadhasee Eaek Dhis Dhhaavai ||
एकादसी एक दिस धावै ॥
On the eleventh day of the lunar cycle, if you run in the direction of the One,
ਤਉ ਜੋਨੀ ਸੰਕਟ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥
Tho Jonee Sankatt Bahur N Aavai ||
तउ जोनी संकट बहुरि न आवै ॥
You will not have to suffer the pains of reincarnation again.
ਸੀਤਲ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਭਇਆ ਸਰੀਰਾ ॥
Seethal Niramal Bhaeiaa Sareeraa ||
सीतल निरमल भइआ सरीरा ॥
Your body will become cool, immaculate and pure.
ਦੂਰਿ ਬਤਾਵਤ ਪਾਇਆ ਨੀਰਾ ॥੧੨॥
Dhoor Bathaavath Paaeiaa Neeraa ||12||
दूरि बतावत पाइआ नीरा ॥१२॥
The Lord was said to be far away, but He is found near at hand. ||12||
ਬਾਰਸਿ ਬਾਰਹ ਉਗਵੈ ਸੂਰ ॥
Baaras Baareh Ougavai Soor ||
बारसि बारह उगवै सूर ॥
On the twelfth day of the lunar cycle, twelve suns rise.
ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਬਾਜੇ ਅਨਹਦ ਤੂਰ ॥
Ahinis Baajae Anehadh Thoor ||
अहिनिसि बाजे अनहद तूर ॥
Day and night, the celestial bugles vibrate the unstruck melody.
ਦੇਖਿਆ ਤਿਹੂੰ ਲੋਕ ਕਾ ਪੀਉ ॥
Dhaekhiaa Thihoon Lok Kaa Peeo ||
देखिआ तिहूं लोक का पीउ ॥
Then, one beholds the Father of the three worlds.
ਅਚਰਜੁ ਭਇਆ ਜੀਵ ਤੇ ਸੀਉ ॥੧੩॥
Acharaj Bhaeiaa Jeev Thae Seeo ||13||
अचरजु भइआ जीव ते सीउ ॥१३॥
This is wonderful! The human being has become God! ||13||
ਤੇਰਸਿ ਤੇਰਹ ਅਗਮ ਬਖਾਣਿ ॥
Thaeras Thaereh Agam Bakhaan ||
तेरसि तेरह अगम बखाणि ॥
On the thirteenth day of the lunar cycle, the thirteen holy books proclaim
ਅਰਧ ਉਰਧ ਬਿਚਿ ਸਮ ਪਹਿਚਾਣਿ ॥
Aradhh Ouradhh Bich Sam Pehichaan ||
अरध उरध बिचि सम पहिचाणि ॥
That you must recognize the Lord in the nether regions of the underworld as well as the heavens.
ਨੀਚ ਊਚ ਨਹੀ ਮਾਨ ਅਮਾਨ ॥
Neech Ooch Nehee Maan Amaan ||
नीच ऊच नही मान अमान ॥
There is no high or low, no honor or dishonor.
ਬਿਆਪਿਕ ਰਾਮ ਸਗਲ ਸਾਮਾਨ ॥੧੪॥
Biaapik Raam Sagal Saamaan ||14||
बिआपिक राम सगल सामान ॥१४॥
The Lord is pervading and permeating all. ||14||
ਚਉਦਸਿ ਚਉਦਹ ਲੋਕ ਮਝਾਰਿ ॥
Choudhas Choudheh Lok Majhaar ||
चउदसि चउदह लोक मझारि ॥
On the fourteenth day of the lunar cycle, in the fourteen worlds
ਰੋਮ ਰੋਮ ਮਹਿ ਬਸਹਿ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ॥
Rom Rom Mehi Basehi Muraar ||
रोम रोम महि बसहि मुरारि ॥
And on each and every hair, the Lord abides.
ਸਤ ਸੰਤੋਖ ਕਾ ਧਰਹੁ ਧਿਆਨ ॥
Sath Santhokh Kaa Dhharahu Dhhiaan ||
सत संतोख का धरहु धिआन ॥
Center yourself and meditate on truth and contentment.
ਕਥਨੀ ਕਥੀਐ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨ ॥੧੫॥

कथनी कथीऐ ब्रहम गिआन ॥१५॥
Speak the speech of God's spiritual wisdom. ||15||

पूनिउ पूरा चंद अकास ॥
On the day of the full moon, the full moon fills the heavens.
ਪਸਰਹਿ ਕਲਾ ਸਹਜ ਪਰਗਾਸ ॥
Pasarehi Kalaa Sehaj Paragaas ||
पसरहि कला सहज परगास ॥
Its power is diffused through its gentle light.
ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਮਧਿ ਹੋਇ ਰਹਿਆ ਥੀਰ ॥

आदि अंति मधि होइ रहिआ थीर ॥
In the beginning, in the end, and in the middle, God remains firm and steady.

And restrain the desires within the temple of the body.

अहिनिसि अखंड सुरही जाइ ॥
When your attention is focused day and night upon that imperishable place,
ਤਉ ਅਨਹਦ ਬੇਣੁ ਸਹਜ ਮਹਿ ਬਾਇ ॥੧॥
Tho Anehadh Baen Sehaj Mehi Baae ||1||
तउ अनहद बेणु सहज महि बाइ ॥१॥
Then the celestial flutes play the unstruck melody in tranquil peace and poise. ||1||
ਸੋਮਵਾਰਿ ਸਸਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਝਰੈ ॥

सोमवारि ससि अम्रितु झरै ॥
On Monday, the Ambrosial Nectar trickles down from the moon.
ਚਾਖਤ ਬੇਗਿ ਸਗਲ ਬਿਖ ਹਰੈ ॥
Chaakhath Baeg Sagal Bikh Harai ||
चाखत बेगि सगल बिख हरै ॥
Tasting it, all poisons are removed in an instant.
ਬਾਣੀ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਰਹੈ ਦੁਆਰ ॥
Baanee Rokiaa Rehai Dhuaar ||
बाणी रोकिआ रहै दुआर ॥
Restrained by Gurbani, the mind remains indoors;
ਤਉ ਮਨੁ ਮਤਵਾਰੋ ਪੀਵਨਹਾਰ ॥੨॥

तउ मनु मतवारो पीवनहार ॥२॥
Drinking in this Nectar, it is intoxicated. ||2||
ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰੇ ਲੇ ਮਾਹੀਤਿ ॥
Mangalavaarae Lae Maaheeth ||
मंगलवारे ले माहीति ॥
On Tuesday, understand reality;
ਪੰਚ ਚੋਰ ਕੀ ਜਾਣੈ ਰੀਤਿ ॥
Panch Chor Kee Jaanai Reeth ||
पंच चोर की जाणै रीति ॥
You must know the way the five thieves work.
ਘਰ ਛੋਡੇਂ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਜਿਨਿ ਜਾਇ ॥
Ghar Shhoddaen Baahar Jin Jaae ||
घर छोडें बाहरि जिनि जाइ ॥
Those who leave their own home to go out wandering
ਨਾਤਰੁ ਖਰਾ ਰਿਸੈ ਹੈ ਰਾਇ ॥੩॥
Naathar Kharaa Risai Hai Raae ||3||
नातरु खरा रिसै है राइ ॥३॥
Shall feel the terrible wrath of the Lord, their King. ||3||
ਬੁਧਵਾਰਿ ਬੁਧਿ ਕਰੈ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸ ॥
Budhhavaar Budhh Karai Pragaas ||
बुधवारि बुधि करै प्रगास ॥
On Wednesday, one's understanding is enlightened.
ਹਿਰਦੈ ਕਮਲ ਮਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਬਾਸ ॥
Hiradhai Kamal Mehi Har Kaa Baas ||
हिरदै कमल महि हरि का बास ॥
The Lord comes to dwell in the lotus of the heart.
ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਦੋਊ ਏਕ ਸਮ ਧਰੈ ॥
Gur Mil Dhooo Eaek Sam Dhharai ||
गुर मिलि दोऊ एक सम धरै ॥
Meeting the Guru, one comes to look alike upon pleasure and pain,
ਉਰਧ ਪੰਕ ਲੈ ਸੂਧਾ ਕਰੈ ॥੪॥
Ouradhh Pank Lai Soodhhaa Karai ||4||
उरध पंक लै सूधा करै ॥४॥
And the inverted lotus is turned upright. ||4||
ਬ੍ਰਿਹਸਪਤਿ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਦੇਇ ਬਹਾਇ ॥
Brihasapath Bikhiaa Dhaee Behaae ||
ब्रिहसपति बिखिआ देइ बहाइ ॥
On Thursday, wash off your corruption.
ਤੀਨਿ ਦੇਵ ਏਕ ਸੰਗਿ ਲਾਇ ॥
Theen Dhaev Eaek Sang Laae ||
तीनि देव एक संगि लाइ ॥
Forsake the trinity, and attach yourself to the One God.
ਤੀਨਿ ਨਦੀ ਤਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਕੁਟੀ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
Theen Nadhee Theh Thrikuttee Maahi ||
तीनि नदी तह त्रिकुटी माहि ॥
At the confluence of the three rivers of knowledge, right action and devotion, there,
ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਕਸਮਲ ਧੋਵਹਿ ਨਾਹਿ ॥੫॥
Ahinis Kasamal Dhhovehi Naahi ||5||
अहिनिसि कसमल धोवहि नाहि ॥५॥
Why not wash away your sinful mistakes? ||5||
ਸੁਕ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਸਹਾਰੈ ਸੁ ਇਹ ਬ੍ਰਤਿ ਚੜੈ ॥
Sukirath Sehaarai S Eih Brath Charrai ||
सुक्रितु सहारै सु इह ब्रति चड़ै ॥
On Friday, keep up and complete your fast;
ਅਨਦਿਨ ਆਪਿ ਆਪ ਸਿਉ ਲੜੈ ॥
Anadhin Aap Aap Sio Larrai ||
अनदिन आपि आप सिउ लड़ै ॥
Day and night, you must fight against your own self.
ਸੁਰਖੀ ਪਾਂਚਉ ਰਾਖੈ ਸਬੈ ॥
Surakhee Paancho Raakhai Sabai ||
सुरखी पांचउ राखै सबै ॥
If you restrain your five senses,
ਤਉ ਦੂਜੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਨ ਪੈਸੈ ਕਬੈ ॥੬॥
Tho Dhoojee Dhrisatt N Paisai Kabai ||6||
तउ दूजी द्रिसटि न पैसै कबै ॥६॥
Then you shall not cast your glance on another. ||6||
ਥਾਵਰ ਥਿਰੁ ਕਰਿ ਰਾਖੈ ਸੋਇ ॥

थावर थिरु करि राखै सोइ ॥
On Saturday, keep the candle of God's Light
ਜੋਤਿ ਦੀ ਵਟੀ ਘਟ ਮਹਿ ਜੋਇ ॥
Joth Dhee Vattee Ghatt Mehi Joe ||
जोति दी वटी घट महि जोइ ॥
Steady within your heart;
ਬਾਹਰਿ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਭਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੁ ॥
Baahar Bheethar Bhaeiaa Pragaas ||
बाहरि भीतरि भइआ प्रगासु ॥
You will be enlightened, inwardly and outwardly.
ਤਬ ਹੂਆ ਸਗਲ ਕਰਮ ਕਾ ਨਾਸੁ ॥੭॥
Thab Hooaa Sagal Karam Kaa Naas ||7||
तब हूआ सगल करम का नासु ॥७॥
