भुज बल बीर ब्रहम सुख सागर गरत परत गहि लेहु अंगुरीआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

स्रवनि न सुरति नैन सुंदर नही आरत दुआरि रटत पिंगुरीआ ॥१॥
My ears do not hear, and my eyes are not beautiful. I am in such pain; I am a poor cripple, crying at Your Door. ||1||

तुझ बिनु घरी न जीवना ध्रिगु रहणा संसारि ॥
Without You, I cannot live, even for an instant, and my life in this world is cursed.

Saran Samaaee Dhaas Hith Oochae Agam Apaar ||3||
सरणि समाई दास हित ऊचे अगम अपार ॥३॥
You lovingly absorb Your slaves into Your Sanctuary, O Lofty, Inaccessible and Infinite Lord. ||3||
ਸਗਲ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਅਸਟ ਸਿਧਿ ਨਾਮ ਮਹਾ ਰਸ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
Sagal Padhaarathh Asatt Sidhh Naam Mehaa Ras Maahi ||
सगल पदारथ असट सिधि नाम महा रस माहि ॥
All wealth, and the eight miraculous spiritual powers are in the supremely sublime essence of the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
ਸੁਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਭਏ ਕੇਸਵਾ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਹਿ ॥੪॥
Suprasann Bheae Kaesavaa Sae Jan Har Gun Gaahi ||4||
सुप्रसंन भए केसवा से जन हरि गुण गाहि ॥४॥
Those humble beings, with whom the beautifully-haired Lord is thoroughly pleased, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||4||
ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੁਤ ਬੰਧਪੋ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਅਧਾਰ ॥
Maath Pithaa Suth Bandhhapo Thoon Maerae Praan Adhhaar ||
मात पिता सुत बंधपो तूं मेरे प्राण अधार ॥
You are my mother, father, son and relative; You are the Support of the breath of life.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਭਜੈ ਬਿਖੁ ਤਰਿਆ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥੫॥੧॥੧੧੬॥

सरब कलिआण सूख सचु पावै ॥ रहाउ ॥
Surely, this will bring all pleasures and comforts. ||Pause||
ਬਨੁ ਬਨੁ ਖੋਜਤ ਫਿਰਤ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ॥
Ban Ban Khojath Firath Bairaagee ||
बनु बनु खोजत फिरत बैरागी ॥
The renunciate goes out into the woods, searching for Him.
ਬਿਰਲੇ ਕਾਹੂ ਏਕ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ॥
Biralae Kaahoo Eaek Liv Laagee ||
बिरले काहू एक लिव लागी ॥
But those who embrace love for the One Lord are very rare.
ਜਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਸੇ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ॥੧॥
Jin Har Paaeiaa Sae Vaddabhaagee ||1||
जिनि हरि पाइआ से वडभागी ॥१॥
Those who find the Lord are very fortunate and blessed. ||1||
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਦਿਕ ਸਨਕਾਦਿਕ ਚਾਹੈ ॥
Brehamaadhik Sanakaadhik Chaahai ||
ब्रहमादिक सनकादिक चाहै ॥
The Gods like Brahma and Sanak yearn for Him;
ਜੋਗੀ ਜਤੀ ਸਿਧ ਹਰਿ ਆਹੈ ॥
Jogee Jathee Sidhh Har Aahai ||
जोगी जती सिध हरि आहै ॥
The Yogis, celibates and Siddhas yearn for the Lord.
ਜਿਸਹਿ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਸੋ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਹੈ ॥੨॥
Jisehi Paraapath So Har Gun Gaahai ||2||
जिसहि परापति सो हरि गुण गाहै ॥२॥
One who is so blessed, sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||2||
ਤਾ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਜਿਨ ਬਿਸਰਤ ਨਾਹੀ ॥
Thaa Kee Saran Jin Bisarath Naahee ||
ता की सरणि जिन बिसरत नाही ॥
I seek the Sanctuary of those who have not forgotten Him.
ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤ ਮਿਲਾਹੀ ॥
Vaddabhaagee Har Santh Milaahee ||
वडभागी हरि संत मिलाही ॥
By great good fortune, one meets the Lord's Saint.
ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਤਿਹ ਮੂਲੇ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੩॥
Janam Maran Thih Moolae Naahee ||3||
जनम मरण तिह मूले नाही ॥३॥
They are not subject to the cycle of birth and death. ||3||
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਮਿਲੁ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥
Kar Kirapaa Mil Preetham Piaarae ||
करि किरपा मिलु प्रीतम पिआरे ॥
Show Your Mercy, and lead me to meet You, O my Darling Beloved.
ਬਿਨਉ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਊਚ ਅਪਾਰੇ ॥

बिनउ सुनहु प्रभ ऊच अपारे ॥
Hear my prayer, O Lofty and Infinite God;
