प्रीति प्रीति गुरीआ मोहन लालना ॥
Love of the enticing Beloved Lord is the most glorious love.
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਏਕੈ ਅਵਰੁ ਨਹੀ ਕੋ ਲੇਖੈ ਸੰਤ ਲਾਗੁ ਮਨਹਿ ਛਾਡੁ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਕੀ ਕੁਰੀਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

Meditate, O mind, on the One Lord of the Universe - nothing else is of any account. Attach your mind to the Saints, and abandon the path of duality. ||1||Pause||
ਨਿਰਗੁਨ ਹਰੀਆ ਸਰਗੁਨ ਧਰੀਆ ਅਨਿਕ ਕੋਠਰੀਆ ਭਿੰਨ ਭਿੰਨ ਭਿੰਨ ਭਿਨ ਕਰੀਆ ॥
Niragun Hareeaa Saragun Dhhareeaa Anik Kothareeaa Bhinn Bhinn Bhinn Bhin Kareeaa ||
निरगुन हरीआ सरगुन धरीआ अनिक कोठरीआ भिंन भिंन भिंन भिन करीआ ॥
The Lord is absolute and unmanifest; He has assumed the most sublime manifestation. He has fashioned countless body chambers of many, varied, different, myriad forms.
ਵਿਚਿ ਮਨ ਕੋਟਵਰੀਆ ॥
Vich Man Kottavareeaa ||
विचि मन कोटवरीआ ॥
Within them, the mind is the policeman;
ਨਿਜ ਮੰਦਰਿ ਪਿਰੀਆ ॥
Nij Mandhar Pireeaa ||
निज मंदरि पिरीआ ॥
My Beloved lives in the temple of my inner self.
ਤਹਾ ਆਨਦ ਕਰੀਆ ॥
Thehaa Aanadh Kareeaa ||
तहा आनद करीआ ॥
He plays there in ecstasy.
ਨਹ ਮਰੀਆ ਨਹ ਜਰੀਆ ॥੧॥
Neh Mareeaa Neh Jareeaa ||1||
नह मरीआ नह जरीआ ॥१॥
He does not die, and he never grows old. ||1||
ਕਿਰਤਨਿ ਜੁਰੀਆ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਫਿਰੀਆ ਪਰ ਕਉ ਹਿਰੀਆ ॥
Kirathan Jureeaa Bahu Bidhh Fireeaa Par Ko Hireeaa ||
किरतनि जुरीआ बहु बिधि फिरीआ पर कउ हिरीआ ॥
He is engrossed in worldly activities, wandering around in various ways. He steals the property of others,
ਬਿਖਨਾ ਘਿਰੀਆ ॥
Bikhanaa Ghireeaa ||
बिखना घिरीआ ॥
And is surrounded by corruption and sin.
ਅਬ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਪਰੀਆ ॥
Ab Saadhhoo Sang Pareeaa ||
अब साधू संगि परीआ ॥
But now, he joins the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy,
ਹਰਿ ਦੁਆਰੈ ਖਰੀਆ ॥
Har Dhuaarai Khareeaa ||
हरि दुआरै खरीआ ॥
And stands before the Lord's Gate.
ਦਰਸਨੁ ਕਰੀਆ ॥
Dharasan Kareeaa ||
दरसनु करीआ ॥
He obtains the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan.
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਰੀਆ ॥
Naanak Gur Mireeaa ||
नानक गुर मिरीआ ॥
Nanak has met the Guru;
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਫਿਰੀਆ ॥੨॥੧॥੪੪॥
Bahur N Fireeaa ||2||1||44||
बहुरि न फिरीआ ॥२॥१॥४४॥
He shall not be reincarnated again. ||2||1||44||

सूही महला ५ ॥
Soohee, Fifth Mehl:
ਰਾਸਿ ਮੰਡਲੁ ਕੀਨੋ ਆਖਾਰਾ ॥
Raas Manddal Keeno Aakhaaraa ||
रासि मंडलु कीनो आखारा ॥
The Lord has made this world a stage;
ਸਗਲੋ ਸਾਜਿ ਰਖਿਓ ਪਾਸਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Sagalo Saaj Rakhiou Paasaaraa ||1|| Rehaao ||
सगलो साजि रखिओ पासारा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
He fashioned the expanse of the entire creation. ||1||Pause||
ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਰੂਪ ਰੰਗ ਆਪਾਰਾ ॥
Bahu Bidhh Roop Rang Aapaaraa ||
बहु बिधि रूप रंग आपारा ॥
He fashioned it in various ways, with limitless colors and forms.
ਪੇਖੈ ਖੁਸੀ ਭੋਗ ਨਹੀ ਹਾਰਾ ॥
Paekhai Khusee Bhog Nehee Haaraa ||
पेखै खुसी भोग नही हारा ॥
He watches over it with joy, and He never tires of enjoying it.
ਸਭਿ ਰਸ ਲੈਤ ਬਸਤ ਨਿਰਾਰਾ ॥੧॥
Sabh Ras Laith Basath Niraaraa ||1||
सभि रस लैत बसत निरारा ॥१॥
He enjoys all the delights, and yet He remains unattached. ||1||
ਬਰਨੁ ਚਿਹਨੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਮੁਖੁ ਨ ਮਾਸਾਰਾ ॥
Baran Chihan Naahee Mukh N Maasaaraa ||
बरनु चिहनु नाही मुखु न मासारा ॥
He has no color, no sign, no mouth and no beard.
ਕਹਨੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ਖੇਲੁ ਤੁਹਾਰਾ ॥
Kehan N Jaaee Khael Thuhaaraa ||
कहनु न जाई खेलु तुहारा ॥
I cannot describe Your play.
ਨਾਨਕ ਰੇਣ ਸੰਤ ਚਰਨਾਰਾ ॥੨॥੨॥੪੫॥
Naanak Raen Santh Charanaaraa ||2||2||45||
नानक रेण संत चरनारा ॥२॥२॥४५॥
Nanak is the dust of the feet of the Saints. ||2||2||45||

ਤਉ ਮੈ ਆਇਆ ਸਰਨੀ ਆਇਆ ॥
Tho Mai Aaeiaa Saranee Aaeiaa ||
तउ मै आइआ सरनी आइआ ॥
I have come to You. I have come to Your Sanctuary.
ਭਰੋਸੈ ਆਇਆ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਆਇਆ ॥
Bharosai Aaeiaa Kirapaa Aaeiaa ||
भरोसै आइआ किरपा आइआ ॥
I have come to place my faith in You. I have come seeking Mercy.
ਜਿਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਉ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਗੁਰਹਿ ਪਠਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Jio Bhaavai Thio Raakhahu Suaamee Maarag Gurehi Pathaaeiaa ||1|| Rehaao ||
जिउ भावै तिउ राखहु सुआमी मारगु गुरहि पठाइआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
If it pleases You, save me, O my Lord and Master. The Guru has placed me upon the Path. ||1||Pause||
ਮਹਾ ਦੁਤਰੁ ਮਾਇਆ ॥
Mehaa Dhuthar Maaeiaa ||
महा दुतरु माइआ ॥
Maya is very treacherous and difficult to pass through.
ਜੈਸੇ ਪਵਨੁ ਝੁਲਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
Jaisae Pavan Jhulaaeiaa ||1||
जैसे पवनु झुलाइआ ॥१॥
It is like a violent wind-storm. ||1||
ਸੁਨਿ ਸੁਨਿ ਹੀ ਡਰਾਇਆ ॥
Sun Sun Hee Ddaraaeiaa ||
सुनि सुनि ही डराइआ ॥
I am so afraid to hear
ਕਰਰੋ ਧ੍ਰਮਰਾਇਆ ॥੨॥
Kararo Dhhramaraaeiaa ||2||
कररो ध्रमराइआ ॥२॥
That the Righteous Judge of Dharma is so strict and stern. ||2||
ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਅੰਧ ਕੂਪਾਇਆ ॥
Grih Andhh Koopaaeiaa ||
ग्रिह अंध कूपाइआ ॥
The world is a deep, dark pit;
ਪਾਵਕੁ ਸਗਰਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
Paavak Sagaraaeiaa ||3||
पावकु सगराइआ ॥३॥
It is all on fire. ||3||
ਗਹੀ ਓਟ ਸਾਧਾਇਆ ॥
Gehee Outt Saadhhaaeiaa ||
गही ओट साधाइआ ॥
I have grasped the Support of the Holy Saints.
ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
Naanak Har Dhhiaaeiaa ||
नानक हरि धिआइआ ॥
Nanak meditates on the Lord.
ਅਬ ਮੈ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੪॥੩॥੪੬॥
Ab Mai Pooraa Paaeiaa ||4||3||46||
अब मै पूरा पाइआ ॥४॥३॥४६॥
Now, I have found the Perfect Lord. ||4||3||46||

Sathigur Paas Baenantheeaa Milai Naam Aadhhaaraa ||
सतिगुर पासि बेनंतीआ मिलै नामु आधारा ॥
I offer this prayer to the True Guru, to bless me with the sustenance of the Naam.
ਤੁਠਾ ਸਚਾ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੁ ਤਾਪੁ ਗਇਆ ਸੰਸਾਰਾ ॥੧॥
Thuthaa Sachaa Paathisaahu Thaap Gaeiaa Sansaaraa ||1||
तुठा सचा पातिसाहु तापु गइआ संसारा ॥१॥
When the True King is pleased, the world is rid of its diseases. ||1||
ਭਗਤਾ ਕੀ ਟੇਕ ਤੂੰ ਸੰਤਾ ਕੀ ਓਟ ਤੂੰ ਸਚਾ ਸਿਰਜਨਹਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Bhagathaa Kee Ttaek Thoon Santhaa Kee Outt Thoon Sachaa Sirajanehaaraa ||1|| Rehaao ||
भगता की टेक तूं संता की ओट तूं सचा सिरजनहारा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
You are the Support of Your devotees, and the Shelter of the Saints, O True Creator Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਸਚੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਾਮਗਰੀ ਸਚੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰਬਾਰਾ ॥
Sach Thaeree Saamagaree Sach Thaeraa Dharabaaraa ||
सचु तेरी सामगरी सचु तेरा दरबारा ॥
True are Your devices, and True is Your Court.
ਸਚੁ ਤੇਰੇ ਖਾਜੀਨਿਆ ਸਚੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਾਸਾਰਾ ॥੨॥
Sach Thaerae Khaajeeniaa Sach Thaeraa Paasaaraa ||2||
सचु तेरे खाजीनिआ सचु तेरा पासारा ॥२॥
True are Your treasures, and True is Your expanse. ||2||
ਤੇਰਾ ਰੂਪੁ ਅਗੰਮੁ ਹੈ ਅਨੂਪੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰਸਾਰਾ ॥
Thaeraa Roop Aganm Hai Anoop Thaeraa Dharasaaraa ||
तेरा रूपु अगमु है अनूपु तेरा दरसारा ॥
Your Form is inaccessible, and Your Vision is incomparably beautiful.
ਹਉ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਤੇਰਿਆ ਸੇਵਕਾ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ॥੩॥
Ho Kurabaanee Thaeriaa Saevakaa Jinh Har Naam Piaaraa ||3||
हउ कुरबाणी तेरिआ सेवका जिन्ह हरि नामु पिआरा ॥३॥
I am a sacrifice to Your servants; they love Your Name, O Lord. ||3||
