निहचलु राजु सदा हरि केरा तिसु बिनु अवरु न कोई राम ॥
The Kingdom of the Lord is permanent, and forever unchanging; there is no other than Him.
ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਸਦਾ ਸਚੁ ਸੋਈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਏਕੋ ਜਾਣਿਆ ॥
This Bin Avar N Koee Sadhaa Sach Soee Guramukh Eaeko Jaaniaa ||
तिसु बिनु अवरु न कोई सदा सचु सोई गुरमुखि एको जाणिआ ॥
There is no other than Him - He is True forever; the Gurmukh knows the One Lord.
ਧਨ ਪਿਰ ਮੇਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਆ ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ॥
Dhhan Pir Maelaavaa Hoaa Guramathee Man Maaniaa ||
धन पिर मेलावा होआ गुरमती मनु मानिआ ॥
That soul-bride, whose mind accepts the Guru's Teachings, meets her Husband Lord.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਬਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਵੈ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥
Sathigur Miliaa Thaa Har Paaeiaa Bin Har Naavai Mukath N Hoee ||
सतिगुरु मिलिआ ता हरि पाइआ बिनु हरि नावै मुकति न होई ॥
Meeting the True Guru, she finds the Lord; without the Lord's Name, there is no liberation.
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾਮਣਿ ਕੰਤੈ ਰਾਵੇ ਮਨਿ ਮਾਨਿਐ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਈ ॥੧॥

सतिगुरु सेवि धन बालड़ीए हरि वरु पावहि सोई राम ॥
Serve the True Guru, O young and innocent bride; thus you shall obtain the Lord as your Husband.
ਸਦਾ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਫਿਰਿ ਮੈਲਾ ਵੇਸੁ ਨ ਹੋਈ ਰਾਮ ॥
Sadhaa Hovehi Sohaaganee Fir Mailaa Vaes N Hoee Raam ||
सदा होवहि सोहागणी फिरि मैला वेसु न होई राम ॥
You shall be the virtuous and happy bride of the True Lord forever; and you shall never again wear soiled clothes.
ਫਿਰਿ ਮੈਲਾ ਵੇਸੁ ਨ ਹੋਈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬੂਝੈ ਕੋਈ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਾਰਿ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ॥
Fir Mailaa Vaes N Hoee Guramukh Boojhai Koee Houmai Maar Pashhaaniaa ||
फिरि मैला वेसु न होई गुरमुखि बूझै कोई हउमै मारि पछाणिआ ॥
Your clothes shall never again be soiled; how rare are those few, who, as Gurmukh, recognize this, and conquer their ego.
ਕਰਣੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਵੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਏਕੋ ਜਾਣਿਆ ॥
Karanee Kaar Kamaavai Sabadh Samaavai Anthar Eaeko Jaaniaa ||
करणी कार कमावै सबदि समावै अंतरि एको जाणिआ ॥
So make your practice the practice of good deeds; merge into the Word of the Shabad, and deep within, come to know the One Lord.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰਾਵੇ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਾਚੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਹੋਈ ॥
Guramukh Prabh Raavae Dhin Raathee Aapanaa Saachee Sobhaa Hoee ||
गुरमुखि प्रभु रावे दिनु राती आपणा साची सोभा होई ॥
The Gurmukh enjoys God, day and night, and so obtains true glory.
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾਮਣਿ ਪਿਰੁ ਰਾਵੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਈ ॥੨॥

नानक कामणि पिरु रावे आपणा रवि रहिआ प्रभु सोई ॥२॥

गुर की कार करे धन बालड़ीए हरि वरु देइ मिलाए राम ॥
Serve the Guru, O young and innocent soul-bride, and he will lead to you meet your Husband Lord.
ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਾਮਣਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥
Har Kai Rang Rathee Hai Kaaman Mil Preetham Sukh Paaeae Raam ||
हरि कै रंगि रती है कामणि मिलि प्रीतम सुखु पाए राम ॥
The bride is imbued with the Love of her Lord; meeting with her Beloved, she finds peace.
ਮਿਲਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਏ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਏ ਸਚੁ ਵਰਤੈ ਸਭ ਥਾਈ ॥
Mil Preetham Sukh Paaeae Sach Samaaeae Sach Varathai Sabh Thhaaee ||
मिलि प्रीतम सुखु पाए सचि समाए सचु वरतै सभ थाई ॥
Meeting her Beloved, she finds peace, and merges in the True Lord; the True Lord is pervading everywhere.
ਸਚਾ ਸੀਗਾਰੁ ਕਰੇ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਕਾਮਣਿ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਈ ॥
Sachaa Seegaar Karae Dhin Raathee Kaaman Sach Samaaee ||
सचा सीगारु करे दिनु राती कामणि सचि समाई ॥
The bride makes Truth her decorations, day and night, and remains absorbed in the True Lord.
ਹਰਿ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਸਬਦਿ ਪਛਾਤਾ ਕਾਮਣਿ ਲਇਆ ਕੰਠਿ ਲਾਏ ॥
Har Sukhadhaathaa Sabadh Pashhaathaa Kaaman Laeiaa Kanth Laaeae ||
हरि सुखदाता सबदि पछाता कामणि लइआ कंठि लाए ॥
The Lord, the Giver of peace, is realized through His Shabad; He hugs His bride close in His embrace.
ਨਾਨਕ ਮਹਲੀ ਮਹਲੁ ਪਛਾਣੈ ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਏ ॥੩॥
Naanak Mehalee Mehal Pashhaanai Guramathee Har Paaeae ||3||
नानक महली महलु पछाणै गुरमती हरि पाए ॥३॥

सा धन बाली धुरि मेली मेरै प्रभि आपि मिलाई राम ॥
The Primal Lord, my God, has united His young and innocent bride with Himself.
ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਘਟਿ ਚਾਨਣੁ ਹੋਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਭ ਥਾਈ ਰਾਮ ॥
Guramathee Ghatt Chaanan Hoaa Prabh Rav Rehiaa Sabh Thhaaee Raam ||
गुरमती घटि चानणु होआ प्रभु रवि रहिआ सभ थाई राम ॥
Through the Guru's Teachings, her heart is illumined and enlightened; God is permeating and pervading everywhere.
ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਭ ਥਾਈ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਈ ਪੂਰਬਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
Prabh Rav Rehiaa Sabh Thhaaee Mann Vasaaee Poorab Likhiaa Paaeiaa ||
प्रभु रवि रहिआ सभ थाई मंनि वसाई पूरबि लिखिआ पाइआ ॥
God is permeating and pervading everywhere; He dwells in her mind, and she realizes her pre-ordained destiny.
ਸੇਜ ਸੁਖਾਲੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਣੀ ਸਚੁ ਸੀਗਾਰੁ ਬਣਾਇਆ ॥
Saej Sukhaalee Maerae Prabh Bhaanee Sach Seegaar Banaaeiaa ||
सेज सुखाली मेरे प्रभ भाणी सचु सीगारु बणाइआ ॥
On his cozy bed, she is pleasing to my God; she fashions her decorations of Truth.
ਕਾਮਣਿ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਲੁ ਖੋਈ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਈ ॥
Kaaman Niramal Houmai Mal Khoee Guramath Sach Samaaee ||
कामणि निरमल हउमै मलु खोई गुरमति सचि समाई ॥
The bride is immaculate and pure; she washes away the filth of egotism, and through the Guru's Teachings, she merges in the True Lord.
ਨਾਨਕ ਆਪਿ ਮਿਲਾਈ ਕਰਤੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਵੈ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੪॥੩॥੪॥
Naanak Aap Milaaee Karathai Naam Navai Nidhh Paaee ||4||3||4||
नानक आपि मिलाई करतै नामु नवै निधि पाई ॥४॥३॥४॥

हरि हरे हरि गुण गावहु हरि गुरमुखे पाए राम ॥
Sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, Har, Har, Har; the Gurmukh obtains the Lord.
ਅਨਦਿਨੋ ਸਬਦਿ ਰਵਹੁ ਅਨਹਦ ਸਬਦ ਵਜਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥
Anadhino Sabadh Ravahu Anehadh Sabadh Vajaaeae Raam ||
अनदिनो सबदि रवहु अनहद सबद वजाए राम ॥
Night and day, chant the Word of the Shabad; night and day, the Shabad shall vibrate and resound.
ਅਨਹਦ ਸਬਦ ਵਜਾਏ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਘਰਿ ਆਏ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਨਾਰੀ ॥
Anehadh Sabadh Vajaaeae Har Jeeo Ghar Aaeae Har Gun Gaavahu Naaree ||
अनहद सबद वजाए हरि जीउ घरि आए हरि गुण गावहु नारी ॥
The unstruck melody of the Shabad vibrates, and the Dear Lord comes into the home of my heart; O ladies, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਗੁਰ ਆਗੈ ਸਾ ਧਨ ਕੰਤ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥
Anadhin Bhagath Karehi Gur Aagai Saa Dhhan Kanth Piaaree ||
अनदिनु भगति करहि गुर आगै सा धन कंत पिआरी ॥
That soul-bride, who performs devotional worship service to the Guru night and day, becomes the Beloved bride of her Lord.
ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਵਸਿਆ ਘਟ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੁਹਾਏ ॥
Gur Kaa Sabadh Vasiaa Ghatt Anthar Sae Jan Sabadh Suhaaeae ||
गुर का सबदु वसिआ घट अंतरि से जन सबदि सुहाए ॥
Those humble beings, whose hearts are filled with the Word of the Guru's Shabad, are adorned with the Shabad.
ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨ ਘਰਿ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਸੋਹਿਲਾ ਹਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਘਰਿ ਆਏ ॥੧॥

नानक तिन घरि सद ही सोहिला हरि करि किरपा घरि आए ॥१॥
O Nanak, their hearts are forever filled with happiness; the Lord, in His Mercy, enters into their hearts. ||1||

भगता मनि आनंदु भइआ हरि नामि रहे लिव लाए राम ॥
The minds of the devotees are filled with bliss; they remain lovingly absorbed in the Lord's Name.

Guramukhae Man Niramal Hoaa Niramal Har Gun Gaaeae Raam ||
गुरमुखे मनु निरमलु होआ निरमल हरि गुण गाए राम ॥
The mind of the Gurmukh is immaculate and pure; she sings the Immaculate Praises of the Lord.
ਨਿਰਮਲ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਏ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ॥
Niramal Gun Gaaeae Naam Mann Vasaaeae Har Kee Anmrith Baanee ||
निरमल गुण गाए नामु मंनि वसाए हरि की अम्रित बाणी ॥
Singing His Immaculate Praises, she enshrines in her mind the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and the Ambrosial Word of His Bani.
ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਸੇਈ ਜਨ ਨਿਸਤਰੇ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਮਾਣੀ ॥
Jinh Man Vasiaa Saeee Jan Nisatharae Ghatt Ghatt Sabadh Samaanee ||
जिन्ह मनि वसिआ सेई जन निसतरे घटि घटि सबदि समाणी ॥
Those humble beings, within whose minds it abides, are emancipated; the Shabad permeates each and every heart.
