The Lord Himself attaches the Gurmukh to His Love;

तितु घरि बिलावलु गुर सबदि सुहाए ॥
Joyful melodies permeate his home, and he is embellished with the Word of the Guru's Shabad.

मंगलु नारी गावहि आए ॥
The women come and sing the songs of joy.

I am a sacrifice to those, whose minds are filled with the Lord.

सदा रंगि राते तेरै चाए ॥
They are always imbued with Your Joyful Love;
ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਆਪਿ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਏ ॥
Har Jeeo Aap Vasai Man Aaeae ||
हरि जीउ आपि वसै मनि आए ॥
O Dear Lord, You Yourself come to dwell in their minds.
ਆਪੇ ਸੋਭਾ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਪਾਏ ॥
Aapae Sobhaa Sadh Hee Paaeae ||
आपे सोभा सद ही पाए ॥
They obtain eternal glory.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮੇਲੈ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥੨॥

गुरमुखि मेलै मेलि मिलाए ॥२॥
The Gurmukhs are united in the Lord's Union. ||2||

गुरमुखि राते सबदि रंगाए ॥
The Gurmukhs are imbued with the love of the Word of the Shabad.
ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਵਾਸਾ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ॥
Nij Ghar Vaasaa Har Gun Gaaeae ||
निज घरि वासा हरि गुण गाए ॥
They abide in the home of their own being, singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਰੰਗਿ ਚਲੂਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਰਸਿ ਭਾਏ ॥
Rang Chaloolai Har Ras Bhaaeae ||
रंगि चलूलै हरि रसि भाए ॥
They are dyed in the deep crimson color of the Lord's Love; they look so beautiful.
ਇਹੁ ਰੰਗੁ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਉਤਰੈ ਸਾਚਿ ਸਮਾਏ ॥੩॥
Eihu Rang Kadhae N Outharai Saach Samaaeae ||3||
इहु रंगु कदे न उतरै साचि समाए ॥३॥
This dye never fades away; they are absorbed in the True Lord. ||3||
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਮਿਟਿਆ ਅਗਿਆਨੁ ਅੰਧੇਰਾ ॥
Anthar Sabadh Mittiaa Agiaan Andhhaeraa ||
अंतरि सबदु मिटिआ अगिआनु अंधेरा ॥
The Shabad deep within the nucleus of the self dispels the darkness of ignorance.

अचिंत नामु वसिआ मनि आई ॥
The Naam, the Name of the Lord, has spontaneously come to abide in my mind.

हउमै माइआ सबदि जलाई ॥
Through the Word of the Shabad, I have burnt away egotism and Maya.

Through the Guru, I have obtained honor in the Court of the True Lord. ||1||

जगदीस सेवउ मै अवरु न काजा ॥
I serve the Lord of the Universe; I have no other work to do.

मन की परतीति मन ते पाई ॥
From the mind itself, mental faith is obtained.
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਸਬਦਿ ਬੁਝਾਈ ॥

पूरे गुर ते सबदि बुझाई ॥
Through the Guru, I have realized the Shabad.
ਜੀਵਣ ਮਰਣੁ ਕੋ ਸਮਸਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ॥
Jeevan Maran Ko Samasar Vaekhai ||
जीवण मरणु को समसरि वेखै ॥
How rare is that person, who looks upon life and death alike.
ਬਹੁੜਿ ਨ ਮਰੈ ਨਾ ਜਮੁ ਪੇਖੈ ॥੨॥
Bahurr N Marai Naa Jam Paekhai ||2||
बहुड़ि न मरै ना जमु पेखै ॥२॥
She shall never die again, and shall not have to see the Messenger of Death. ||2||
ਘਰ ਹੀ ਮਹਿ ਸਭਿ ਕੋਟ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥
Ghar Hee Mehi Sabh Kott Nidhhaan ||
घर ही महि सभि कोट निधान ॥
Within the home of the self are all the millions of treasures.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਦਿਖਾਏ ਗਇਆ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ॥
Sathigur Dhikhaaeae Gaeiaa Abhimaan ||
सतिगुरि दिखाए गइआ अभिमानु ॥
The True Guru has revealed them, and my egotistical pride is gone.
ਸਦ ਹੀ ਲਾਗਾ ਸਹਜਿ ਧਿਆਨ ॥
Sadh Hee Laagaa Sehaj Dhhiaan ||
सद ही लागा सहजि धिआन ॥
I keep my meditation always focused on the Cosmic Lord.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਗਾਵੈ ਏਕੋ ਨਾਮ ॥੩॥
Anadhin Gaavai Eaeko Naam ||3||
अनदिनु गावै एको नाम ॥३॥
Night and day, I sing the One Name. ||3||
ਇਸੁ ਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਪਾਈ ॥
Eis Jug Mehi Vaddiaaee Paaee ||
इसु जुग महि वडिआई पाई ॥
I have obtained glorious greatness in this age,
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈ ॥
Poorae Gur Thae Naam Dhhiaaee ||
पूरे गुर ते नामु धिआई ॥
From the Perfect Guru, meditating on the Naam.
ਜਹ ਦੇਖਾ ਤਹ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਈ ॥
Jeh Dhaekhaa Theh Rehiaa Samaaee ||
जह देखा तह रहिआ समाई ॥
Wherever I look, I see the Lord permeating and pervading.
ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਈ ॥੪॥
Sadhaa Sukhadhaathaa Keemath Nehee Paaee ||4||
सदा सुखदाता कीमति नही पाई ॥४॥
He is forever the Giver of peace; His worth cannot be estimated. ||4||
ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ ॥

पूरै भागि गुरु पूरा पाइआ ॥
By perfect destiny, I have found the Perfect Guru.
