Hoe Raen Saadhhoo Prabh Araadhhoo Aapanae Prabh Bhaavaa ||
होइ रेण साधू प्रभ अराधू आपणे प्रभ भावा ॥
I am the dust of the feet of the Holy. Worshipping God in adoration, my God is pleased with me.

गुर मिलि सागरु तरिआ ॥
Meeting with the Guru, I cross over the world-ocean.
ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣ ਜਪਤ ਨਿਸਤਰਿਆ ॥
Har Charan Japath Nisathariaa ||
हरि चरण जपत निसतरिआ ॥
Meditating on the Lord's Feet, I am emancipated.
ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣ ਧਿਆਏ ਸਭਿ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ਮਿਟੇ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣਾ ॥
Har Charan Dhhiaaeae Sabh Fal Paaeae Mittae Aavan Jaanaa ||
हरि चरण धिआए सभि फल पाए मिटे आवण जाणा ॥
Meditating on the Lord's Feet, I have obtained the fruits of all rewards, and my comings and goings have ceased.
ਭਾਇ ਭਗਤਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵਾ ॥
Bhaae Bhagath Subhaae Har Jap Aapanae Prabh Bhaavaa ||
भाइ भगति सुभाइ हरि जपि आपणे प्रभ भावा ॥
With loving devotional worship, I meditate intuitively on the Lord, and my God is pleased.
ਜਪਿ ਏਕੁ ਅਲਖ ਅਪਾਰ ਪੂਰਨ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਈ ॥
Jap Eaek Alakh Apaar Pooran This Binaa Nehee Koee ||
जपि एकु अलख अपार पूरन तिसु बिना नही कोई ॥
Meditate on the One, Unseen, Infinite, Perfect Lord; there is no other than Him.
ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਿ ਭਰਮੁ ਖੋਇਆ ਜਤ ਦੇਖਾ ਤਤ ਸੋਈ ॥੩॥

बिनवंति नानक गुरि भरमु खोइआ जत देखा तत सोई ॥३॥

The Lord's Name is the Purifier of sinners.
ਪੂਰਨ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੇ ਕਾਮਾ ॥

पूरन संत जना के कामा ॥
It resolves the affairs of the humble Saints.
ਗੁਰੁ ਸੰਤੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਸਗਲ ਇਛਾ ਪੁੰਨੀਆ ॥
Gur Santh Paaeiaa Prabh Dhhiaaeiaa Sagal Eishhaa Punneeaa ||
गुरु संतु पाइआ प्रभु धिआइआ सगल इछा पुंनीआ ॥
I have found the Saintly Guru, meditating on God. All my desires have been fulfilled.
ਹਉ ਤਾਪ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਸਦਾ ਸਰਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮਿਲੇ ਚਿਰੀ ਵਿਛੁੰਨਿਆ ॥
Ho Thaap Binasae Sadhaa Sarasae Prabh Milae Chiree Vishhunniaa ||
हउ ताप बिनसे सदा सरसे प्रभ मिले चिरी विछुंनिआ ॥
The fever of egotism has been dispelled, and I am always happy. I have met God, from whom I was separated for so long.
ਮਨਿ ਸਾਤਿ ਆਈ ਵਜੀ ਵਧਾਈ ਮਨਹੁ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਵੀਸਰੈ ॥
Man Saath Aaee Vajee Vadhhaaee Manahu Kadhae N Veesarai ||
मनि साति आई वजी वधाई मनहु कदे न वीसरै ॥
My mind has found peace and tranquility; congratulations are pouring in. I shall never forget Him from my mind.

तू ठाकुरो बैरागरो मै जेही घण चेरी राम ॥
O my Lord and Master, You are unattached; You have so many hand-maidens like me, Lord.
ਤੂੰ ਸਾਗਰੋ ਰਤਨਾਗਰੋ ਹਉ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਾਮ ॥

तूं सागरो रतनागरो हउ सार न जाणा तेरी राम ॥
You are the ocean, the source of jewels; I do not know Your value, Lord.
ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣਾ ਤੂ ਵਡ ਦਾਣਾ ਕਰਿ ਮਿਹਰੰਮਤਿ ਸਾਂਈ ॥
Saar N Jaanaa Thoo Vadd Dhaanaa Kar Miharanmath Saanee ||
सार न जाणा तू वड दाणा करि मिहरमति सांई ॥
I do not know Your value; You are the wisest of all; please show Mercy unto me, O Lord.
ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕੀਜੈ ਸਾ ਮਤਿ ਦੀਜੈ ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਤੁਧੁ ਧਿਆਈ ॥
Kirapaa Keejai Saa Math Dheejai Aath Pehar Thudhh Dhhiaaee ||
किरपा कीजै सा मति दीजै आठ पहर तुधु धिआई ॥
Show Your Mercy, and bless me with such understanding, that I may meditate on You, twenty-four hours a day.

गरबु न कीजै रेण होवीजै ता गति जीअरे तेरी ॥
O soul, don't be so arrogant - become the dust of all, and you shall be saved.

ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਗਉਹਰ ਅਤਿ ਗਹਿਰ ਗੰਭੀਰਾ ਤੁਮ ਪਿਰ ਹਮ ਬਹੁਰੀਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
Thumh Gouhar Ath Gehir Ganbheeraa Thum Pir Ham Bahureeaa Raam ||
तुम्ह गउहर अति गहिर ग्मभीरा तुम पिर हम बहुरीआ राम ॥
Your depth is profound and utterly unfathomable; You are my Husband Lord, and I am Your bride.
ਤੁਮ ਵਡੇ ਵਡੇ ਵਡ ਊਚੇ ਹਉ ਇਤਨੀਕ ਲਹੁਰੀਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
Thum Vaddae Vaddae Vadd Oochae Ho Eithaneek Lahureeaa Raam ||
तुम वडे वडे वड ऊचे हउ इतनीक लहुरीआ राम ॥
You are the greatest of the great, exalted and lofty on high; I am infinitesimally small.
ਹਉ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਏਕੋ ਤੂਹੈ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਸੁਜਾਨਾ ॥
Ho Kishh Naahee Eaeko Thoohai Aapae Aap Sujaanaa ||
हउ किछु नाही एको तूहै आपे आपि सुजाना ॥
I am nothing; You are the One and only. You Yourself are All-knowing.
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਨਿਮਖ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਵਾ ਸਰਬ ਰੰਗ ਰਸ ਮਾਨਾ ॥
Anmrith Dhrisatt Nimakh Prabh Jeevaa Sarab Rang Ras Maanaa ||
अम्रित द्रिसटि निमख प्रभ जीवा सरब रंग रस माना ॥
With just a momentary Glance of Your Grace, God, I live; I enjoy all pleasures and delights.
ਚਰਣਹ ਸਰਨੀ ਦਾਸਹ ਦਾਸੀ ਮਨਿ ਮਉਲੈ ਤਨੁ ਹਰੀਆ ॥
Charaneh Saranee Dhaaseh Dhaasee Man Moulai Than Hareeaa ||
चरणह सरनी दासह दासी मनि मउलै तनु हरीआ ॥
I seek the Sanctuary of Your Feet; I am the slave of Your slaves. My mind has blossomed forth, and my body is rejuvenated.
ਨਾਨਕ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਸਰਬ ਸਮਾਣਾ ਆਪਨ ਭਾਵਨ ਕਰੀਆ ॥੨॥
Naanak Thaakur Sarab Samaanaa Aapan Bhaavan Kareeaa ||2||
नानक ठाकुरु सरब समाणा आपन भावन करीआ ॥२॥
O Nanak, the Lord and Master is contained amongst all; He does just as He pleases. ||2||
ਤੁਝੁ ਊਪਰਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੈ ਮਾਣਾ ਤੂਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਤਾਣਾ ਰਾਮ ॥

तुझु ऊपरि मेरा है माणा तूहै मेरा ताणा राम ॥
I take pride in You; You are my only Strength, Lord.
ਸੁਰਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ਤੇਰੀ ਤੂ ਜਾਣਾਇਹਿ ਜਾਣਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
Surath Math Chathuraaee Thaeree Thoo Jaanaaeihi Jaanaa Raam ||
सुरति मति चतुराई तेरी तू जाणाइहि जाणा राम ॥
You are my understanding, intellect and knowledge. I know only what You cause me to know, Lord.
ਸੋਈ ਜਾਣੈ ਸੋਈ ਪਛਾਣੈ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਸਿਰੰਦੇ ॥
Soee Jaanai Soee Pashhaanai Jaa Ko Nadhar Sirandhae ||
सोई जाणै सोई पछाणै जा कउ नदरि सिरंदे ॥
He alone knows, and he alone understands, upon whom the Creator Lord bestows His Grace.
ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਭੂਲੀ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਰਾਹੀ ਫਾਥੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਫੰਦੇ ॥
Manamukh Bhoolee Bahuthee Raahee Faathhee Maaeiaa Fandhae ||
मनमुखि भूली बहुती राही फाथी माइआ फंदे ॥
The self-willed manmukh wanders along many paths, and is trapped in the net of Maya.
ਠਾਕੁਰ ਭਾਣੀ ਸਾ ਗੁਣਵੰਤੀ ਤਿਨ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਰੰਗ ਮਾਣਾ ॥
Thaakur Bhaanee Saa Gunavanthee Thin Hee Sabh Rang Maanaa ||
ठाकुर भाणी सा गुणवंती तिन ही सभ रंग माणा ॥
She alone is virtuous, who is pleasing to her Lord and Master. She alone enjoys all the pleasures.
ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਧਰ ਤੂਹੈ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਤੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾ ਮਾਣਾ ॥੩॥
Naanak Kee Dhhar Thoohai Thaakur Thoo Naanak Kaa Maanaa ||3||
नानक की धर तूहै ठाकुर तू नानक का माणा ॥३॥
You, O Lord, are Nanak's only support. You are Nanak's only pride. ||3||

हउ वारी वंञा घोली वंञा तू परबतु मेरा ओल्हा राम ॥

ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ਲਖ ਲਖ ਲਖ ਬਰੀਆ ਜਿਨਿ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਪਰਦਾ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
Ho Bal Jaaee Lakh Lakh Lakh Bareeaa Jin Bhram Paradhaa Kholhaa Raam ||
हउ बलि जाई लख लख लख बरीआ जिनि भ्रमु परदा खोल्हा राम ॥
I am a sacrifice, thousands, hundreds of thousands of times, to the Lord. He has torn away the veil of doubt;
