Khaath Kharachath Bilashhath Sukh Paaeiaa Karathae Kee Dhaath Savaaee Raam ||
खात खरचत बिलछत सुखु पाइआ करते की दाति सवाई राम ॥
Eating, spending and enjoying, I have found peace; the gifts of the Creator Lord continually increase.
ਦਾਤਿ ਸਵਾਈ ਨਿਖੁਟਿ ਨ ਜਾਈ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
Dhaath Savaaee Nikhutt N Jaaee Antharajaamee Paaeiaa ||
दाति सवाई निखुटि न जाई अंतरजामी पाइआ ॥
His gifts increase and shall never be exhausted; I have found the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts.
ਕੋਟਿ ਬਿਘਨ ਸਗਲੇ ਉਠਿ ਨਾਠੇ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਨੇੜੈ ਆਇਆ ॥

कोटि बिघन सगले उठि नाठे दूखु न नेड़ै आइआ ॥
Millions of obstacles have all been removed, and pain does not even approach me.

सांति सहज आनंद घनेरे बिनसी भूख सबाई ॥
Tranquility, peace, poise and bliss in abundance prevail, and all my hunger is satisfied.

जिस का कारजु तिन ही कीआ माणसु किआ वेचारा राम ॥
It was His job, and He has done it; what can the mere mortal being do?

Bhagath Sohan Har Kae Gun Gaavehi Sadhaa Karehi Jaikaaraa Raam ||
भगत सोहनि हरि के गुण गावहि सदा करहि जैकारा राम ॥
The devotees are adorned, singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord; they proclaim His eternal victory.
ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਅਨਦ ਉਪਜੇ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਬਨੀ ॥
Gun Gaae Gobindh Anadh Oupajae Saadhhasangath Sang Banee ||
गुण गाइ गोबिंद अनद उपजे साधसंगति संगि बनी ॥
Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe, bliss wells up, and we are friends with the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.

ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਦਾਨੁ ਕੀਜੈ ਬਿਸਰੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਇਕ ਖਿਨੋ ॥
Naam Dheejai Dhaan Keejai Bisar Naahee Eik Khino ||
नामु दीजै दानु कीजै बिसरु नाही इक खिनो ॥
Please, grant us Your Name, grant us this blessing, and do not forget us, even for an instant.

My Dear Lord and Master, my Friend, speaks so sweetly.
ਹਉ ਸੰਮਲਿ ਥਕੀ ਜੀ ਓਹੁ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਬੋਲੈ ਕਉਰਾ ॥
Ho Sanmal Thhakee Jee Ouhu Kadhae N Bolai Kouraa ||
हउ समलि थकी जी ओहु कदे न बोलै कउरा ॥
I have grown weary of testing Him, but still, He never speaks harshly to me.
ਕਉੜਾ ਬੋਲਿ ਨ ਜਾਨੈ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਗਵਾਨੈ ਅਉਗਣੁ ਕੋ ਨ ਚਿਤਾਰੇ ॥

कउड़ा बोलि न जानै पूरन भगवानै अउगणु को न चितारे ॥
He does not know any bitter words; the Perfect Lord God does not even consider my faults and demerits.
ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਸਦਾਏ ਇਕੁ ਤਿਲੁ ਨਹੀ ਭੰਨੈ ਘਾਲੇ ॥
Pathith Paavan Har Biradh Sadhaaeae Eik Thil Nehee Bhannai Ghaalae ||
पतित पावनु हरि बिरदु सदाए इकु तिलु नही भंनै घाले ॥
It is the Lord's natural way to purify sinners; He does not overlook even an iota of service.
ਘਟ ਘਟ ਵਾਸੀ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਨੇਰੈ ਹੀ ਤੇ ਨੇਰਾ ॥
Ghatt Ghatt Vaasee Sarab Nivaasee Naerai Hee Thae Naeraa ||
घट घट वासी सरब निवासी नेरै ही ते नेरा ॥
He dwells in each and every heart, pervading everywhere; He is the nearest of the near.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪੇਖਤ ਜੀਵਾ ਠੰਢੀ ਥੀਵਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥
Prabh Paekhath Jeevaa Thandtee Thheevaa This Jaevadd Avar N Koee ||
प्रभ पेखत जीवा ठंढी थीवा तिसु जेवडु अवरु न कोई ॥
Gazing upon God, I live, and I am at peace; no one else is as great as He is.
ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਮਧਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰਵਿਆ ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਸੋਈ ॥

आदि अंति मधि प्रभु रविआ जलि थलि महीअलि सोई ॥
Present at the beginning, end and middle of time, He pervades the sea, the land and the sky.
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਜਪਿ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਤਰਿਆ ਭਵਜਲ ਉਤਰੇ ਪਾਰਾ ॥

चरन कमल जपि सागरु तरिआ भवजल उतरे पारा ॥
Meditating on His Lotus Feet, I have crossed over the sea, the terrifying world-ocean.

नानक सरणि पूरन परमेसुर तेरा अंतु न पारावारा ॥२॥

ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਦੀਨਾ ਤਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਲੀਨਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖ ਨਾਠੇ ॥
Mil Saadhhoo Dheenaa Thaa Naam Leenaa Janam Maran Dhukh Naathae ||
मिलि साधू दीना ता नामु लीना जनम मरण दुख नाठे ॥
Meeting with the humble, Holy Saint, I obtained the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and the pains of birth and death left me.
ਸਹਜ ਸੂਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਘਨੇਰੇ ਹਉਮੈ ਬਿਨਠੀ ਗਾਠੇ ॥
Sehaj Sookh Aanandh Ghanaerae Houmai Binathee Gaathae ||
सहज सूख आनंद घनेरे हउमै बिनठी गाठे ॥
I have been blessed with peace, poise and abundant bliss, and the knot of egotism has been untied.
