Thaerae Gun Gaavehi Sehaj Samaavehi Sabadhae Mael Milaaeae ||
तेरे गुण गावहि सहजि समावहि सबदे मेलि मिलाए ॥
Singing Your Glorious Praises, they merge naturally into You, O Lord; through the Shabad, they are united in Union with You.

संतसंगति सिउ मेलु भइआ हरि हरि नामि समाए राम ॥
Those who join the Society of the Saints are absorbed in the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਦ ਜੀਵਨ ਮੁਕਤ ਭਏ ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥
Gur Kai Sabadh Sadh Jeevan Mukath Bheae Har Kai Naam Liv Laaeae Raam ||
गुर कै सबदि सद जीवन मुकत भए हरि कै नामि लिव लाए राम ॥
Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, they are forever 'jivan mukta' - liberated while yet alive; they are lovingly absorbed in the Name of the Lord.
ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਏ ਗੁਰਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ਮਨੂਆ ਰਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਲੇ ॥
Har Naam Chith Laaeae Gur Mael Milaaeae Manooaa Rathaa Har Naalae ||
हरि नामि चितु लाए गुरि मेलि मिलाए मनूआ रता हरि नाले ॥
They center their consciousness on the Lord's Name; through the Guru, they are united in His Union. Their minds are imbued with the Lord's Love.
ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੋਹੁ ਚੁਕਾਇਆ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਲੇ ॥
Sukhadhaathaa Paaeiaa Mohu Chukaaeiaa Anadhin Naam Samhaalae ||
सुखदाता पाइआ मोहु चुकाइआ अनदिनु नामु सम्हाले ॥
They find the Lord, the Giver of peace, and they eradicate attachments; night and day, they contemplate the Naam.
ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੇ ਰਾਤਾ ਸਹਜੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਾਏ ॥
Gur Sabadhae Raathaa Sehajae Maathaa Naam Man Vasaaeae ||
गुर सबदे राता सहजे माता नामु मनि वसाए ॥
They are imbued with the Word of the Guru's Shabad, and intoxicated with celestial peace; the Naam abides in their minds.
ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨ ਘਰਿ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਸੋਹਿਲਾ ਜਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੇਵਿ ਸਮਾਏ ॥੩॥

नानक तिन घरि सद ही सोहिला जि सतिगुर सेवि समाए ॥३॥
O Nanak, the homes of their hearts are filled with happiness, forever and always; they are absorbed in serving the True Guru. ||3||
ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜਗੁ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਮਹਲੁ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
Bin Sathigur Jag Bharam Bhulaaeiaa Har Kaa Mehal N Paaeiaa Raam ||
बिनु सतिगुर जगु भरमि भुलाइआ हरि का महलु न पाइआ राम ॥
Without the True Guru, the world is deluded by doubt; it does not obtain the Mansion of the Lord's Presence.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖੇ ਇਕਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਦੂਖ ਗਵਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
Guramukhae Eik Mael Milaaeiaa Thin Kae Dhookh Gavaaeiaa Raam ||
गुरमुखे इकि मेलि मिलाइआ तिन के दूख गवाइआ राम ॥
As Gurmukh, some are united in the Lord's Union, and their pains are dispelled.
ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਦੂਖ ਗਵਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਇਆ ਸਦਾ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ॥
Thin Kae Dhookh Gavaaeiaa Jaa Har Man Bhaaeiaa Sadhaa Gaavehi Rang Raathae ||
तिन के दूख गवाइआ जा हरि मनि भाइआ सदा गावहि रंगि राते ॥
Their pains are dispelled, when it is pleasing to the Lord's Mind; imbued with His Love, they sing His Praises forever.
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਭਗਤ ਸਦਾ ਜਨ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਜੁਗਿ ਜੁਗਿ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਜਾਤੇ ॥
Har Kae Bhagath Sadhaa Jan Niramal Jug Jug Sadh Hee Jaathae ||
हरि के भगत सदा जन निरमल जुगि जुगि सद ही जाते ॥
The Lord's devotees are pure and humble forever; throughout the ages, they are forever respected.
ਸਾਚੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਦਰਿ ਜਾਪਹਿ ਘਰਿ ਦਰਿ ਸਚਾ ਸੋਈ ॥
Saachee Bhagath Karehi Dhar Jaapehi Ghar Dhar Sachaa Soee ||
साची भगति करहि दरि जापहि घरि दरि सचा सोई ॥
They perform true devotional worship service, and are honored in the Lord's Court; the True Lord is their hearth and home.

जे लोड़हि वरु बालड़ीए ता गुर चरणी चितु लाए राम ॥
If you long for your Husband Lord,O young and innocent bride,then focus your consciousness on the Guru's feet.
ਸਦਾ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਮਰੈ ਨ ਜਾਏ ਰਾਮ ॥
Sadhaa Hovehi Sohaaganee Har Jeeo Marai N Jaaeae Raam ||
सदा होवहि सोहागणी हरि जीउ मरै न जाए राम ॥
You shall be a happy soul bride of your Dear Lord forever; He does not die or leave.
ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਮਰੈ ਨ ਜਾਏ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਏ ਸਾ ਧਨ ਕੰਤ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥
Har Jeeo Marai N Jaaeae Gur Kai Sehaj Subhaaeae Saa Dhhan Kanth Piaaree ||
हरि जीउ मरै न जाए गुर कै सहजि सुभाए सा धन कंत पिआरी ॥
The Dear Lord does not die, and He does not leave; through the peaceful poise of the Guru, the soul bride becomes the lover of her Husband Lord.
ਸਚਿ ਸੰਜਮਿ ਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੀਗਾਰੀ ॥
Sach Sanjam Sadhaa Hai Niramal Gur Kai Sabadh Seegaaree ||
सचि संजमि सदा है निरमल गुर कै सबदि सीगारी ॥
Through truth and self-control, she is forever immaculate and pure; she is embellished with the Word of the Guru's Shabad.
ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਸਾਚਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਆਪੇ ਆਪੁ ਉਪਾਇਆ ॥
Maeraa Prabh Saachaa Sadh Hee Saachaa Jin Aapae Aap Oupaaeiaa ||
मेरा प्रभु साचा सद ही साचा जिनि आपे आपु उपाइआ ॥
My God is True, forever and ever; He Himself created Himself.

Pir Paaeiarraa Baalarreeeae Anadhin Sehajae Maathee Raam ||
पिरु पाइअड़ा बालड़ीए अनदिनु सहजे माती राम ॥
When the young, innocent bride finds her Husband Lord, she is automatically intoxicated with Him, night and day.
ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਮਨਿ ਅਨਦੁ ਭਇਆ ਤਿਤੁ ਤਨਿ ਮੈਲੁ ਨ ਰਾਤੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
Guramathee Man Anadh Bhaeiaa Thith Than Mail N Raathee Raam ||
गुरमती मनि अनदु भइआ तितु तनि मैलु न राती राम ॥
Through the Word of the Guru's Teachings, her mind becomes blissful, and her body is not tinged with filth at all.
ਤਿਤੁ ਤਨਿ ਮੈਲੁ ਨ ਰਾਤੀ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਰਾਤੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥
Thith Than Mail N Raathee Har Prabh Raathee Maeraa Prabh Mael Milaaeae ||
तितु तनि मैलु न राती हरि प्रभि राती मेरा प्रभु मेलि मिलाए ॥
Her body is not tinged with filth at all, and she is imbued with her Lord God; my God unites her in Union.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਵੇ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪਣਾ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਏ ॥
Anadhin Raavae Har Prabh Apanaa Vichahu Aap Gavaaeae ||
अनदिनु रावे हरि प्रभु अपणा विचहु आपु गवाए ॥
Night and day, she enjoys her Lord God; her egotism is banished from within.
ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਹਜਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ਅਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਰਾਤੀ ॥
Guramath Paaeiaa Sehaj Milaaeiaa Apanae Preetham Raathee ||
गुरमति पाइआ सहजि मिलाइआ अपणे प्रीतम राती ॥
Through the Guru's Teachings, she easily finds and meets Him. She is imbued with her Beloved.
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰਾਵੇ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੀ ॥੨॥
Naanak Naam Milai Vaddiaaee Prabh Raavae Rang Raathee ||2||
नानक नामु मिलै वडिआई प्रभु रावे रंगि राती ॥२॥
O Nanak, through the Naam, the Name of the Lord, she obtains glorious greatness. She ravishes and enjoys her God; she is imbued with His Love. ||2||

पिरु रावे रंगि रातड़ीए पिर का महलु तिन पाइआ राम ॥
Ravishing her Husband Lord, she is imbued with His Love; she obtains the Mansion of His Presence.
ਸੋ ਸਹੋ ਅਤਿ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
So Seho Ath Niramal Dhaathaa Jin Vichahu Aap Gavaaeiaa Raam ||
सो सहो अति निरमलु दाता जिनि विचहु आपु गवाइआ राम ॥
She is utterly immaculate and pure; the Great Giver banishes self-conceit from within her.
ਵਿਚਹੁ ਮੋਹੁ ਚੁਕਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਕਾਮਣਿ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਣੀ ॥
Vichahu Mohu Chukaaeiaa Jaa Har Bhaaeiaa Har Kaaman Man Bhaanee ||
विचहु मोहु चुकाइआ जा हरि भाइआ हरि कामणि मनि भाणी ॥
The Lord drives out attachment from within her, when it pleases Him. The soul bride becomes pleasing to the Lord's Mind.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਨਿਤ ਸਾਚੇ ਕਥੇ ਅਕਥ ਕਹਾਣੀ ॥
Anadhin Gun Gaavai Nith Saachae Kathhae Akathh Kehaanee ||
अनदिनु गुण गावै नित साचे कथे अकथ कहाणी ॥
Night and day, she continually sings the Glorious Praises of the True Lord; she speaks the Unspoken Speech.
ਜੁਗ ਚਾਰੇ ਸਾਚਾ ਏਕੋ ਵਰਤੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਕਿਨੈ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
Jug Chaarae Saachaa Eaeko Varathai Bin Gur Kinai N Paaeiaa ||
जुग चारे साचा एको वरतै बिनु गुर किनै न पाइआ ॥
Throughout the four ages, the One True Lord is permeating and pervading; without the Guru, no one finds Him.
