सतिगुरु पुरखु जि बोलिआ गुरसिखा मंनि लई रजाइ जीउ ॥
And as the True Guru, the Primal Lord spoke, and the Gursikhs obeyed His Will.
ਮੋਹਰੀ ਪੁਤੁ ਸਨਮੁਖੁ ਹੋਇਆ ਰਾਮਦਾਸੈ ਪੈਰੀ ਪਾਇ ਜੀਉ ॥
Moharee Puth Sanamukh Hoeiaa Raamadhaasai Pairee Paae Jeeo ||
मोहरी पुतु सनमुखु होइआ रामदासै पैरी पाइ जीउ ॥
His son Mohri turned sunmukh, and become obedient to Him; he bowed, and touched Ram Das' feet.
ਸਭ ਪਵੈ ਪੈਰੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਕੇਰੀ ਜਿਥੈ ਗੁਰੂ ਆਪੁ ਰਖਿਆ ॥
Sabh Pavai Pairee Sathiguroo Kaeree Jithhai Guroo Aap Rakhiaa ||
सभ पवै पैरी सतिगुरू केरी जिथै गुरू आपु रखिआ ॥
Then, everyone bowed and touched the feet of Ram Das, into whom the Guru infused His essence.
ਕੋਈ ਕਰਿ ਬਖੀਲੀ ਨਿਵੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਫਿਰਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਆਣਿ ਨਿਵਾਇਆ ॥
Koee Kar Bakheelee Nivai Naahee Fir Sathiguroo Aan Nivaaeiaa ||
कोई करि बखीली निवै नाही फिरि सतिगुरू आणि निवाइआ ॥
And any that did not bow then because of envy - later, the True Guru brought them around to bow in humility.
ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰਹਿ ਭਾਣਾ ਦੀਈ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਧੁਰਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਲੇਖੁ ਰਜਾਇ ਜੀਉ ॥
Har Gurehi Bhaanaa Dheeee Vaddiaaee Dhhur Likhiaa Laekh Rajaae Jeeo ||
हरि गुरहि भाणा दीई वडिआई धुरि लिखिआ लेखु रजाइ जीउ ॥
It pleased the Guru, the Lord, to bestow glorious greatness upon Him; such was the pre-ordained destiny of the Lord's Will.

नैण अलोइआ घटि घटि सोइआ अति अम्रित प्रिअ गूड़ा ॥
With my eyes I have seen Him, sleeping upon the bed within each and every heart; my Beloved is the sweetest ambrosial nectar.
ਨਾਲਿ ਹੋਵੰਦਾ ਲਹਿ ਨ ਸਕੰਦਾ ਸੁਆਉ ਨ ਜਾਣੈ ਮੂੜਾ ॥
Naal Hovandhaa Lehi N Sakandhaa Suaao N Jaanai Moorraa ||
नालि होवंदा लहि न सकंदा सुआउ न जाणै मूड़ा ॥
He is with all, but he cannot be found; the fool does not know His taste.
ਮਾਇਆ ਮਦਿ ਮਾਤਾ ਹੋਛੀ ਬਾਤਾ ਮਿਲਣੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ਭਰਮ ਧੜਾ ॥

माइआ मदि माता होछी बाता मिलणु न जाई भरम धड़ा ॥
Intoxicated with the wine of Maya, the mortal babbles on about trivial affairs; giving in to the illusion, he cannot meet the Lord.

किरपाला मेरे किरपाला दान दातारा मेरे किरपाला ॥
Merciful Lord, my Merciful Lord - the Giver of gifts is my Merciful Lord.
ਦਾਨ ਦਾਤਾਰਾ ਅਪਰ ਅਪਾਰਾ ਘਟ ਘਟ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸੋਹਨਿਆ ॥
Dhaan Dhaathaaraa Apar Apaaraa Ghatt Ghatt Anthar Sohaniaa ||
दान दातारा अपर अपारा घट घट अंतरि सोहनिआ ॥
The Giver of gifts is infinite and unlimited; deep within each and every heart, He is so beautiful!
ਇਕ ਦਾਸੀ ਧਾਰੀ ਸਬਲ ਪਸਾਰੀ ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਲੈ ਮੋਹਨਿਆ ॥
Eik Dhaasee Dhhaaree Sabal Pasaaree Jeea Janth Lai Mohaniaa ||
इक दासी धारी सबल पसारी जीअ जंत लै मोहनिआ ॥
He created Maya, His slave, so powerfully pervasive - she has enticed all beings and creatures.
ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਰਾਖੈ ਸੋ ਸਚੁ ਭਾਖੈ ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਬੀਚਾਰਾ ॥
Jis No Raakhai So Sach Bhaakhai Gur Kaa Sabadh Beechaaraa ||
जिस नो राखै सो सचु भाखै गुर का सबदु बीचारा ॥
One whom the Lord saves, chants the True Name, and contemplates the Word of the Guru's Shabad.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਉ ਭਾਣਾ ਤਿਸ ਹੀ ਕਉ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ॥੨॥

ਜਾਣੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜਾਣੋ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੁਘੜੁ ਸੁਜਾਣੋ ॥
Jaano Prabh Jaano Suaamee Sugharr Sujaano ||
जाणो प्रभु जाणो सुआमी सुघड़ु सुजाणो ॥
Wise, God is wise; my Lord and Master is all-wise, and all-knowing.
ਸੁਘੜ ਸੁਜਾਨਾ ਸਦ ਪਰਧਾਨਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮਾ ॥
Sugharr Sujaanaa Sadh Paradhhaanaa Anmrith Har Kaa Naamaa ||
सुघड़ सुजाना सद परधाना अम्रितु हरि का नामा ॥
All-wise and all-knowing, and forever supreme; the Name of the Lord is Ambrosial Nectar.
ਚਾਖਿ ਅਘਾਣੇ ਸਾਰਿਗਪਾਣੇ ਜਿਨ ਕੈ ਭਾਗ ਮਥਾਨਾ ॥
Chaakh Aghaanae Saarigapaanae Jin Kai Bhaag Mathhaanaa ||
चाखि अघाणे सारिगपाणे जिन कै भाग मथाना ॥
Those who have such pre-ordained destiny recorded upon their foreheads, taste it, and are satisfied with the Lord of the Universe.
ਤਿਨ ਹੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਤਿਨਹਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਸਗਲ ਤਿਸੈ ਕਾ ਮਾਣੋ ॥
Thin Hee Paaeiaa Thinehi Dhhiaaeiaa Sagal Thisai Kaa Maano ||
तिन ही पाइआ तिनहि धिआइआ सगल तिसै का माणो ॥
They meditate on Him, and find Him; they place all their pride in Him.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਥਿਰੁ ਤਖਤਿ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਸਚੁ ਤਿਸੈ ਦੀਬਾਣੋ ॥੩॥

कहु नानक थिरु तखति निवासी सचु तिसै दीबाणो ॥३॥
Says Nanak, He is seated on His eternal throne; True is His royal court. ||3||

Sohilarraa Prabh Sohilarraa Anehadh Dhhuneeai Sohilarraa ||
सोहिलड़ा प्रभ सोहिलड़ा अनहद धुनीऐ सोहिलड़ा ॥
The wedding song, God's wedding song; the unstruck sound current of His wedding song resounds.
ਅਨਹਦ ਵਾਜੇ ਸਬਦ ਅਗਾਜੇ ਨਿਤ ਨਿਤ ਜਿਸਹਿ ਵਧਾਈ ॥
Anehadh Vaajae Sabadh Agaajae Nith Nith Jisehi Vadhhaaee ||
अनहद वाजे सबद अगाजे नित नित जिसहि वधाई ॥
The unstruck sound current vibrates, and the Word of the Shabad resounds; there is continuous, continual rejoicing.
ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਰੈ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਈ ॥
So Prabh Dhhiaaeeai Sabh Kishh Paaeeai Marai N Aavai Jaaee ||
सो प्रभु धिआईऐ सभु किछु पाईऐ मरै न आवै जाई ॥
Meditating on that God, everything is obtained; He does not die, or come or go.
ਚੂਕੀ ਪਿਆਸਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਆਸਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮਿਲੁ ਨਿਰਗੁਨੀਐ ॥
Chookee Piaasaa Pooran Aasaa Guramukh Mil Niraguneeai ||
चूकी पिआसा पूरन आसा गुरमुखि मिलु निरगुनीऐ ॥
Thirst is quenched, and hopes are fulfilled; the Gurmukh meets with the absolute, unmanifest Lord.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਘਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੈ ਨਿਤ ਨਿਤ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਸੁਨੀਐ ॥੪॥੧॥

कहु नानक घरि प्रभ मेरे कै नित नित मंगलु सुनीऐ ॥४॥१॥
