ਸਭਿ ਸਿਧ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਮੁਨਿ ਜਨਾ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਵਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇਓ ॥
Sabh Sidhh Saadhhik Mun Janaa Man Bhaavanee Har Dhhiaaeiou ||
सभि सिध साधिक मुनि जना मनि भावनी हरि धिआइओ ॥
All the Siddhas, seekers and silent sages, with their minds full of love, meditate on the Lord.
ਅਪਰੰਪਰੋ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਅਲਖੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਲਖਾਇਓ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Aparanparo Paarabreham Suaamee Har Alakh Guroo Lakhaaeiou ||1|| Rehaao ||
अपर्मपरो पारब्रहमु सुआमी हरि अलखु गुरू लखाइओ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
The Supreme Lord God, my Lord and Master, is limitless; the Guru has inspired me to know the unknowable Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਹਮ ਨੀਚ ਮਧਿਮ ਕਰਮ ਕੀਏ ਨਹੀ ਚੇਤਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇਓ ॥
Ham Neech Madhhim Karam Keeeae Nehee Chaethiou Har Raaeiou ||
हम नीच मधिम करम कीए नही चेतिओ हरि राइओ ॥
I am low, and I commit evil actions; I have not remembered my Sovereign Lord.
ਹਰਿ ਆਨਿ ਮੇਲਿਓ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਖਿਨੁ ਬੰਧ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਕਰਾਇਓ ॥੧॥
Har Aan Maeliou Sathiguroo Khin Bandhh Mukath Karaaeiou ||1||
हरि आनि मेलिओ सतिगुरू खिनु बंध मुकति कराइओ ॥१॥
The Lord has led me to meet the True Guru; in an instant, He liberated me from bondage. ||1||
ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਮਸਤਕੇ ਧੁਰਿ ਲੀਖਿਆ ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਹਰਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇਓ ॥
Prabh Masathakae Dhhur Leekhiaa Guramathee Har Liv Laaeiou ||
प्रभि मसतके धुरि लीखिआ गुरमती हरि लिव लाइओ ॥
Such is the destiny God wrote on my forehead; following the Guru's Teachings, I enshrine love for the Lord.
ਪੰਚ ਸਬਦ ਦਰਗਹ ਬਾਜਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਓ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਇਓ ॥੨॥
Panch Sabadh Dharageh Baajiaa Har Miliou Mangal Gaaeiou ||2||
पंच सबद दरगह बाजिआ हरि मिलिओ मंगलु गाइओ ॥२॥
The Panch Shabad, the five primal sounds, vibrate and resound in the Court of the Lord; meeting the Lord, I sing the songs of joy. ||2||
ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਰਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਭਾਗੀਆਂ ਨਹੀ ਭਾਇਓ ॥
Pathith Paavan Naam Narehar Mandhabhaageeaaan Nehee Bhaaeiou ||
पतित पावनु नामु नरहरि मंदभागीआं नही भाइओ ॥
The Naam, the Name of the Lord, is the Purifier of sinners; the unfortunate wretches do not like this.
ਤੇ ਗਰਭ ਜੋਨੀ ਗਾਲੀਅਹਿ ਜਿਉ ਲੋਨੁ ਜਲਹਿ ਗਲਾਇਓ ॥੩॥
Thae Garabh Jonee Gaaleeahi Jio Lon Jalehi Galaaeiou ||3||
ते गरभ जोनी गालीअहि जिउ लोनु जलहि गलाइओ ॥३॥
They rot away in the womb of reincarnation; they fall apart like salt in water. ||3||
ਮਤਿ ਦੇਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਗਮ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਨ ਮਨੁ ਮੈ ਲਾਇਓ ॥
Math Dhaehi Har Prabh Agam Thaakur Gur Charan Man Mai Laaeiou ||
मति देहि हरि प्रभ अगम ठाकुर गुर चरन मनु मै लाइओ ॥
Please bless me with such understanding, O Inaccessible Lord God, my Lord and Master, that my mind may remain attached to the Guru's feet.
ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੈ ਰਹਉ ਲਾਗੋ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਇਓ ॥੪॥੩॥
Har Raam Naamai Reho Laago Jan Naanak Naam Samaaeiou ||4||3||
हरि राम नामै रहउ लागो जन नानक नामि समाइओ ॥४॥३॥
Servant Nanak remains attached to the Name of the Lord; he is merged in the Naam. ||4||3||

Maeraa Man Raam Naam Ras Laagaa ||
मेरा मनु राम नामि रसि लागा ॥
My mind is addicted to the juice of the Lord's Name.
ਕਮਲ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੁ ਭਇਆ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਓ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਭਾਗਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Kamal Pragaas Bhaeiaa Gur Paaeiaa Har Japiou Bhram Bho Bhaagaa ||1|| Rehaao ||
कमल प्रगासु भइआ गुरु पाइआ हरि जपिओ भ्रमु भउ भागा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
My heart-lotus has blossomed forth, and I have found the Guru. Meditating on the Lord, my doubts and fears have run away. ||1||Pause||
ਭੈ ਭਾਇ ਭਗਤਿ ਲਾਗੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੀਅਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਸੋਇਓ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਜਾਗਾ ॥
Bhai Bhaae Bhagath Laago Maeraa Heearaa Man Soeiou Guramath Jaagaa ||
भै भाइ भगति लागो मेरा हीअरा मनु सोइओ गुरमति जागा ॥
In the Fear of God, my heart is committed in loving devotion to Him; following the Guru's Teachings, my sleeping mind has awakened.
ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਖੀਨ ਭਏ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਆਈ ਹਰਿ ਉਰ ਧਾਰਿਓ ਵਡਭਾਗਾ ॥੧॥
Kilabikh Kheen Bheae Saanth Aaee Har Our Dhhaariou Vaddabhaagaa ||1||
किलबिख खीन भए सांति आई हरि उर धारिओ वडभागा ॥१॥
All my sins have been erased, and I have found peace and tranquility; I have enshrined the Lord within my heart, by great good fortune. ||1||
ਮਨਮੁਖੁ ਰੰਗੁ ਕਸੁੰਭੁ ਹੈ ਕਚੂਆ ਜਿਉ ਕੁਸਮ ਚਾਰਿ ਦਿਨ ਚਾਗਾ ॥
Manamukh Rang Kasunbh Hai Kachooaa Jio Kusam Chaar Dhin Chaagaa ||
मनमुखु रंगु कसु्मभु है कचूआ जिउ कुसम चारि दिन चागा ॥
The self-willed manmukh is like the false color of the safflower, which fades away; its color lasts for only a few days.
ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਬਿਨਸਿ ਜਾਇ ਪਰਤਾਪੈ ਡੰਡੁ ਧਰਮ ਰਾਇ ਕਾ ਲਾਗਾ ॥੨॥
Khin Mehi Binas Jaae Parathaapai Ddandd Dhharam Raae Kaa Laagaa ||2||
खिन महि बिनसि जाइ परतापै डंडु धरम राइ का लागा ॥२॥
He perishes in an instant; he is tormented, and punished by the Righteous Judge of Dharma. ||2||
ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਾਧ ਅਤਿ ਗੂੜੀ ਜਿਉ ਰੰਗੁ ਮਜੀਠ ਬਹੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥
Sathasangath Preeth Saadhh Ath Goorree Jio Rang Majeeth Bahu Laagaa ||
सतसंगति प्रीति साध अति गूड़ी जिउ रंगु मजीठ बहु लागा ॥
The Lord's Love, found in the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, is absolutely permanent, and colorfast.
ਕਾਇਆ ਕਾਪਰੁ ਚੀਰ ਬਹੁ ਫਾਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਨ ਲਹੈ ਸਭਾਗਾ ॥੩॥
Kaaeiaa Kaapar Cheer Bahu Faarae Har Rang N Lehai Sabhaagaa ||3||
काइआ कापरु चीर बहु फारे हरि रंगु न लहै सभागा ॥३॥
The cloth of the body may be torn to shreds, but still, this beautiful color of the Lord's Love does not fade away. ||3||
ਹਰਿ ਚਾਰ੍ਹਿਓ ਰੰਗੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਗੁਰੁ ਸੋਭਾ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਚਲੂਲੈ ਰਾਂਗਾ ॥
Har Chaarihou Rang Milai Gur Sobhaa Har Rang Chaloolai Raangaa ||
हरि चार्हिओ रंगु मिलै गुरु सोभा हरि रंगि चलूलै रांगा ॥
Meeting with the Blessed Guru, one is dyed in the color of the Lord's Love, imbued with this deep crimson color.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਪਖਾਰੈ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਚਰਨੀ ਜਨੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥੪॥੪॥
Jan Naanak Thin Kae Charan Pakhaarai Jo Har Charanee Jan Laagaa ||4||4||
जन नानकु तिन के चरन पखारै जो हरि चरनी जनु लागा ॥४॥४॥
Servant Nanak washes the feet of that humble being, who is attached to the feet of the Lord. ||4||4||

मेरे मन भजु हरि हरि नामु गुपाला ॥
O my mind, meditate, vibrate upon the Name of the Lord, the Lord of the World, Har, Har.
ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਲੀਨੁ ਭਇਆ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੈ ਮਤਿ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਰਾਮ ਰਸਾਲਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Maeraa Man Than Leen Bhaeiaa Raam Naamai Math Guramath Raam Rasaalaa ||1|| Rehaao ||
मेरा मनु तनु लीनु भइआ राम नामै मति गुरमति राम रसाला ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
My mind and body are merged in the Lord's Name,and through the Guru's Teachings,my intellect is imbued with the Lord, the source of nectar. ||1||Pause||
ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਜਪੀਐ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਮਾਲਾ ॥
Guramath Naam Dhhiaaeeai Har Har Man Japeeai Har Japamaalaa ||
गुरमति नामु धिआईऐ हरि हरि मनि जपीऐ हरि जपमाला ॥
Follow the Guru's Teachings, and meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. Chant, and meditate, on the beads of the mala of the Lord.
ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਕੈ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲੀਖਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਬਨਮਾਲਾ ॥੧॥
Jinh Kai Masathak Leekhiaa Har Miliaa Har Banamaalaa ||1||
जिन्ह कै मसतकि लीखिआ हरि मिलिआ हरि बनमाला ॥१॥
Those who have such destiny inscribed upon their foreheads, meet with the Lord, adorned with garlands of flowers. ||1||
ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਚੂਕੇ ਸਰਬ ਜੰਜਾਲਾ ॥
Jinh Har Naam Dhhiaaeiaa Thinh Chookae Sarab Janjaalaa ||
जिन्ह हरि नामु धिआइआ तिन्ह चूके सरब जंजाला ॥
Those who meditate on the Name of the Lord - all their entanglements are ended.
ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਜਮੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ ਗੁਰਿ ਰਾਖੇ ਹਰਿ ਰਖਵਾਲਾ ॥੨॥
Thinh Jam Naerr N Aavee Gur Raakhae Har Rakhavaalaa ||2||
तिन्ह जमु नेड़ि न आवई गुरि राखे हरि रखवाला ॥२॥
The Messenger of Death does not even approach them; the Guru, the Savior Lord, saves them. ||2||
ਹਮ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਕਿਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਣਹੂ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਾ ॥
Ham Baarik Kishhoo N Jaanehoo Har Maath Pithaa Prathipaalaa ||
हम बारिक किछू न जाणहू हरि मात पिता प्रतिपाला ॥
I am a child; I know nothing at all. The Lord cherishes me, as my mother and father.
ਕਰੁ ਮਾਇਆ ਅਗਨਿ ਨਿਤ ਮੇਲਤੇ ਗੁਰਿ ਰਾਖੇ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥੩॥
Kar Maaeiaa Agan Nith Maelathae Gur Raakhae Dheen Dhaeiaalaa ||3||
करु माइआ अगनि नित मेलते गुरि राखे दीन दइआला ॥३॥
I continually put my hands into the fire of Maya, but the Guru saves me; He is merciful to the meek. ||3||
ਬਹੁ ਮੈਲੇ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਭ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਹਰਿ ਜਸਿ ਜਾਲਾ ॥
Bahu Mailae Niramal Hoeiaa Sabh Kilabikh Har Jas Jaalaa ||
बहु मैले निरमल होइआ सभ किलबिख हरि जसि जाला ॥
I was filthy, but I have become immaculate. Singing the Lord's Praises, all sins have been burnt to ashes.
ਮਨਿ ਅਨਦੁ ਭਇਆ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਬਦਿ ਨਿਹਾਲਾ ॥੪॥੫॥
Man Anadh Bhaeiaa Gur Paaeiaa Jan Naanak Sabadh Nihaalaa ||4||5||
मनि अनदु भइआ गुरु पाइआ जन नानक सबदि निहाला ॥४॥५॥
My mind is in esctasy, having found the Guru; servant Nanak is enraptured through the Word of the Shabad. ||4||5||
